- When Nothing phone 2 came, so many people complained about its camera. That includes me because, let’s be honest; although the phone was very impressive, the camera wasn’t. In today’s age and time, a decent phone camera is required. But then, Nothing OS 2.0.2 came and things changed. But can a software update really change a lot in the camera? let’s check it out.

Can you make a 2024 review pls. Is it good to buy a 1 year old phone? How is the picture and video quality now? Also if I buy NP2 its go upto android 16 which is one year lesser than latest phone, so how much its matters? I am coming from a 19k samsung A23 model which is utter shit, so is the camera is enough for me? The price is 39k for 12gb varient and 37k for 8gb, which is lot lesser than previous year. Should i wait for NP3 or its NP2 is good enough to buy in 2024

It's in 1080p at 120 fps. The quality on 4k is equally good :)

If camera is your priority, I don't suggest this phone. After the update, surely the performance has become better but people for whom the camera should be good; it's not an ideal choice. S23 will be a better alternative :)
Nothing phone 2 vs Samsung S21 Fe 888 ? Getting an exchange extra ₹13500 on Mi 10T 6/128 and ₹1000 additional on NP 2, So total ₹25,700 where as S21 FE ₹22,800 in exchange. Hi mam this nothing phone 2 comes for 33k with card and exchange offers in BBD. Is it worth for the price or should i go to the OnePlus 11r. My priorities multitasking, Multimedia, camera and casual gaming.
See these two phones are very close to each other in terms of specifications. The choice is easier to make when you know what you are looking for.
When you talk about multitasking both the phones are phenomenal
If you wanna browse hdr content, nothing phone 2 hasn’t made it to the list of hdr enabled devices on Netflix but one plus 11r is hdr enabled on Netflix
Casual gaming is good in both the phones but just in case you like to screen record while gaming one plus 11r can do in 1080p, but nothing phone does in 720p
Now camera, so when it comes to selfies, one plus 11r gives bit of whiter selfies compared to nothing phone 2. Whereas, Nothing phone 2 makes shadowy parts darker than they should be but since nothing phone 2 has 2x, portraits are better on that.
Although both the phones can be unstable in terms of camera at times. Plus, you will also not need to buy a separate adapter for charging, it will be in the box.
Also, if you are worried about one plus having green screen problems. You need not to worry about that cuz one plus is offering lifetime free screen replacement for affected users in India.

45w charger 4a because the maximum watts at which nothing phone 2 can get charged is 45w only. Investing in 65w charger will be pointless and 4A gives better charging speed than 3A

I am in confused to buy in between pixel 7 or pixel 7a or np2.
Good camera, decent performance and build quality is my priority.
Could please suggest now all the above 3 mobiles are in same price range.
Pixel is a much worse overall experience. Thick bezels, heating issues, network issues, much worse battery life and a much less customisable OS.
My requirements is good camera, processor,(no lag),no future green/pink line issue,Durable (atleast 3 years) and good battery life.Can you suggest flagship 256GB phones.Budget around 35 to 50K.
Iqoo neo 7 pro, Nothing 2, oneplus11 or anything you suggest

Hi, if you want a good camera then nothing phone 2 is not for you. Pixel 7a has one of the finest cams. So you can check that out or S23. And if not S23 since it's high on budget, you can check out one plus 11 from the list of the devices you mentioned.

hey Hey, thanks for the awesome review! I'm leaning more towards the NP2, especially with those Big Billion Day sale prices. Between the Pixel 7 and NP2, it's a real head-scratcher.
I'd think about the iPhone 13, but it's pricey. We all know the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the NP2 is solid, but what's bugging me: I was under the impression NP2 have the camera hardware to match flagship-level performance(it got the same sensor as in oneplus 11 and oneplus 11r and also snapdragon 8+gen1), But you in the video mentioned issue is with the hardware and they won't be able to fix the camera with software update.
Looking to shoot some short films and TH-cam stuff, so video quality is a big deal for me.
Please confirm If the issue with the camera can't be fixed with the software updates.
See, I’m a creator myself and I’ll never suggest anyone to buy nothing phone 2 if shooting videos or photography is at top of someone’s list. Nothing phone 2 is a great phone, the glyphs, processor and gaming as well; everything is good. For just the camera and the clean UI and bug free apps (saying that cuz I used nothing phone 2 and it was hard to edit videos in it)iPhone 13 will always be the winner.
Between google pixel 7 and nothing phone 2, google pixel 7 overheats and battery drains faster. So for these two reasons, I would pick nothing 2.

@@ramanavavillagaming2186 hey I waited for iPhone 13 but couldn't find it under 45k. I contemplated pixel 7 but it got heating and network issues...so ordered NP2 again and waiting for the delivery. I will provide the camera proper lighting conditions and also wish they will gradually improve the camera. Apart from camera everything else is awesome with the phone as mentioned in the review. You can also consider s21fe snapdragon 888 a very good camera under 30k. 👍

If good camera is a priority, go for 7a. But if you want more battery back up, higher display resolution, larger display, and that premium interface; then go for nothing phone 2.
S21 Fe Snapdragon 888 Vs Nothing Phone 2, which one would you recommend? In terms of battery and everyday use?
If you wanna have a premium feel, go for nothing phone 2. If that’s not a priority you can go for s21
Edit: in terms of battery s21 is good but nothing phone 2 is much better as far as I have seen. In terms of processor, s21 easily gives fight to iPhone 11 A13 Bionic chip in terms of being fast and the phone doesn’t heat up as well. But, if I had to choose between the s21 888 and nothing phone 2, I would pick nothing phone 2

I can tell you that in comparison to an iPhone. On Snapchat Nothing phone 2 is great, no complaints. But, on Instagram it has this bug where if you try to post 4:3 pictures it will compress the picture and make it look weird. While uploading reels also, it used to act slow and the video quality used to get distort. I hope they fix it. But otherwise, if you are not posting the it used to work great :)
Does it support hdr on prime videos?
According to my knowledge as of July 8, 2023 HDR video is available on the following Prime Video devices, for selected models from 2015 or later:
-- Samsung SUHD TVs
-- Sony Triluminos 4K TVs
-- LG OLED and Super UHD TVs
-- Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Android smartphones
Nothing Phone 2 supports playing HDR content but prime hasn't added nothing in the list of its supported devices yet :)

I’m not aware about Vivo v29 but I can help you choose between one plus 11r and nothing phone 2 in terms of camera and processor. Nothing phone 2 photos are much more crisp and alive compared to 11r and although while taking selfies the darker areas of the photos can be a lil bit much darker than the real scene but in my personal opinion nothing phone 2 still beats the 11r.
In terms of processor, I think nothing phone 2 is better than 11r as well. The battery back up is amazing, the phone doesn’t heat up easily at all (trust me I have used it and it just doesn’t budge easily), the gaming is also good and the phone doesn’t hang at all. In my two months of using this phone, not even a single time I felt that the phone is lagging.
So nothing phone 2 in my personal opinion is an easy choice.

I need an extra phone to use with iPhone 15 Pro Max, confused between NP2, Pixel 7A and iPhone 14.
Ecosystem is not an issue.
I think having one android along with an iPhone is a good thing since android has a plus point of being less restrictive. Between np2 and pixel 7a I will suggest, nothing phone 2 to you, since 7a overheats and battery drains faster

Camera does a decent job and there’s no doubt about it, but not from the perspective of a person who prioritises camera. Some people out there want to create content and put it on internet, nothing phone is not there yet.

Do u think it can beat iphone 14 camera?
No. It cannot even beat 13 considering how it overexposed certain shots and got confused in lighting of different temperatures. But overall it's a decent camera :)

Nothing needs to work on their camera algorithm. They have provided great hardware in Nothing phone 2, cameras can certainly be fixed through updates

Well, it’s going to be a long comment. I’m sorry for replying a bit later than I should have. But here is it:
In terms of battery : nothing phone wins
In terms of camera: iPhone 13 wins any day
In terms of performance: I think nothing phone 2 is a powerful device when it comes to gaming and browsing social media and texting. It can do it all. But when I see from a creator pov, it lacks stability. Posting content is not a smooth experience. There are glitches at times which I didn’t like. But hey, not everyone needs all those things.
In terms of UI and the glyphs: how can we not about glyphs? Surprisingly, I did found them useful. I love when I don’t have to look at the screen because I’m always around the screens. The easiness of no need of looking at it for checking if doodle assistant is listening or how much time is left in the timer (approx as you can’t see numbers), how far is my Uber or food. These details were helpful and productive. UI of nothing phone 2 is great as well. It’s not as clean as of an iPhone but I’m sure clean UI is not what people are expecting when they are buying this phone. It’s very cyberpunk sort of design and feel.
