I’ve had my 2021 for a year now, went for forged wheels over carbon after 2 of my mates cracked theirs and the demo bike I took out also had cracks. Don’t bother with an expensive exhaust can, I took mine off completely and it was about right in noise levels - the mid pipe is valved anyway. I now have a full system ready to be fitted but haven’t got around to it. Got a ride from Manchester to Slovenia in April, can’t wait! Definitely the best road biased superbike.
Good work mate. I’ve my eye on the full Akra system. Just ordered it with the plain exhaust as I knew I’d swap it. Ended up going for carbon wheels. Heard both sides so decided risk it 😫
It’s moved the goal posts mate. It really has. The gearbox and connection of the whole drive train is almost like there is nothing mechanical in there. It’s sooo smooth!
I love this bike, picked it up last Friday and did my first ride on the track. I can't wait to unlocked it. BMW Motorrad did an amazing job with the bike. I have the SFV4S and was going to buy the Panigale V4S, I am glad I didn't 😊.
@@mostlymotorbikes 💯 next generation. There are so many riders scared about the German quality, nowadays it is on par with the Japanese reliability and the aftersales cost in terms of servicing and aftermarket parts and accessories is a lot more affordable than any Italian branded bike. A full exhaust system on a Panigale is approx $15k AUD, a full system on the S1000RR is approx $3.5k AUD. If its going to be a dedicated track bike and you are chasing poof-tenths of a second and have the cash to pay for repairs if you bin the bike I would consider the Panigale V4S.
Great vid buddy, 👌🏼 can't believe the price increase from the 2020 one. I know its got more upgrades but 8 grand more ? Only reason I got my 2020 was, a lot of bike for the money. Got exhaust and remap for mine this year. So it will be like a new bike 👍🏼 Cant wait to see what you do to yours...

That is a lovely looking bike, I am very tempted myself! But listening to many reviews on the S1000RR M there are some negatives. 1. engine runs hot 2. cooling fan on a lot 3. vibration through bars and mirrors 4. seat height OK for tall riders 5. fork seals weep. 6. noisy fuel pump and cooling fan 7. cheap plastics 8. no outside temperature gauge 9. finding neutral difficult 10. ugly exhaust 11. the straight four is a little soulless. However the positives far outweigh the negatives. And now what you are going to say to me is, GO AND RIDE ONE! Thanks for uploading and looking forward to some future videos on your BMW S1000RR M.
This isn’t the M mate. It’s the S1000RR sport. Those issues were on the previous model and some of them debatable. Vibration through the bars for example. I’ve owned and ridden pretty much every modern super bike over the last 3 years and it’s by far the smoothest.
@@mostlymotorbikes Thanks Mate mines on order here in Sydney! I love the look of it. Ive ordered the one with full package with M carbon wheels and Akra etc ❤❤ awesome and very down to earth review !
Yes it's nice to know that you're are going to install a full titanium exhaust system, I see most people just put on a slip-on, you will be saving weight And gaining power, Which you know ❤🎉
I am torn between this bike and the R1M . I really don’t think I would be disappointed in either. Congrats on your BMW order. Can’t wait to see you on your bike.
I received mine few days ago and yes lovely bike tho I don’t find it really smooth on very slow speed. If I accelerate slowly and release throttle I have a clunk noise when engine brake comes in and that makes it not really nice. I complain to dealer they had a quick test and told me is fine. Waiting for a test drive on another one to be convinced. Everyone mentioned butter smooth but I found mine little jerky on very low speed in 1,2 gear 😢
I went down that road at 16.18s last year on my bike and there was a Golf parked up with the back doors open and a completely naked blonde lass outside, stretching in the bright summer sun, while her boyfriend recovered on the back seat. True story.
Great bike, I rode the 21 model and if I were to swap out my Panigale this would be my choice. You deffo need the carbon wheels!! My shepherd always does a ‘Down’ when I ask for a sit 🐶😬. Oh what you doing with your Ducati mat?
