    Honda CRF300L Rally: Where the dirt ends and road begins, the CRF300L Rally is waiting to bring adventure bike capability to your everyday commute. The nimble design and plentiful low-end power combine with smart features for an ideal transportation solution through busy streets and bumpy trails. The bodywork is inspired by Dakar Rally racebikes, which means it looks as good as it performs. The tall windscreen provides solid protection against the elements. And the long motocross-style seat gives you all-day comfort and allows you to easily move around in the saddle. If you have a dual sport that’s even lighter and more affordable in mind, make sure you check out our honda CRF300L.
    Honda CRF300L:
    Balance is the key when riding any motorcycle. And we’re not talking about just balancing on two wheels: We’re talking about the balance between size, weight, power and handling that makes some bikes great-like the new Honda CRF300L. Based on our previous CRF250L, for 2021, it gets a larger engine with more torque and a whole host of chassis and suspension refinements. What you end up with is one of the best-balanced bikes ever for on- and off-road use. Perfect for weekend trail rides, it’s also among the best choices ever for commuting or urban transportation. And if you’re looking for a version with a windscreen and Dakar-inspired bodywork for a little more weather protection, make sure you check out our new CRF300L Rally.

    G’day. Look forward to the content of the CRF Rally. I sold my CRF250L and picked up an almost new SWM Superdual X. Lot of bike for the money. Enjoy the extra punch on the road while still good off road. Just miss the nimbleness of the CRF. I am entertaining the idea of switch to CRF300 Rally. Wish Honda did a 450/500cc in this category.

    Cute evolution! I kept my 250L, converted it back into a dual sport / road legal bike, and picked up a KDX220R for the dirt. Love it! Best upgrades will be Lectron carb, high compression head (only if it's a 220), hotter spark coil, FMF everything, and have someone do the front suspension if you weigh more than 145 lbs. Torture Test Magazine has a nice video on the KDX.

    • @MotorcyclesOffroad

      I was really considering the lectron carb. I also considered getting a KDX220 lol. I just got a plate for my 200 so I went through it all to get that street legal. I don't know if I want to so it so soon again for another bike but buying a KDX220 is temping, they are another 25% more hp.

    Bought my Rally in June. Been riding dualsport for 30+ years and have a list of bikes. Currently the Rally is easily my favorite. Had a 450L with almost 4k in extras...just didn't like it. Anyway, sold the 450L almost 2 yrs later, had 950 on it. Have had my Rally barely more than two months and just about ready to turn 3000 miles. Most likely next year it will be set up for the BDR's. (Arizona is home). I was just in MD last month and my buddy and I did a 5 day back road ride into PA, up to Erie, PA and back. All back roads, hitting trails as we saw them. He was riding my old 2008 WR250r. I was thinking of contacting you when I was in MD. I'll be back out there next May or June.

    • @MotorcyclesOffroad

      Does the YZ125x still have enough power for you after being on a 300R?

    • @coltonowens2742
      @coltonowens2742 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DakotaHDrums Its got way more power. Its roughly 35hp at the rear wheel, while the KLX is only about 27. Its also 213lbs WITH a full tank of gas (weighed it myself) vs the KLX that's floating around 280lbs . Its more nimble, and likes to be revved a bit more, but its smokes the 300R in terms of power. The better suspension makes me able to push it way more to.
      That being said, the KLX is still a fantastic bike, and if you want a casual woods, duel sport, or medium difficulty trail bike, you'd be hard pressed to get something better. Its got an amazing maintenance schedule, and is damn reliable and durable to.

    • @MotorcyclesOffroad
      @MotorcyclesOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@coltonowens2742 for me a lot of it has to do with where the power is. A 4 stroke like the 300 has more low power then the KX which needs high rpms. I find the the 4 strokes are much better at trail riding and I mean they are supposed to be. The KX model line was made for motocross. So when I used my KX250 for trail riding ot felt like bagging in a nail with a wrench. The kdx is also made to be a trail bike rather then a motocross bike, so for me it really feels like the right tool for the job. Don't get me wrong I love them all tho in their own ways.
