@@NZWildAdventures Golden bro, look forward to seeing the next "Full Send" adventure haha. Just like you bro, I'll keep chasing those epics and creating memories along the way!
Mate! - you are the man. If I were dad I'd be worried sick about you tho! Those are some wild seas to be alone in such a small boat. Having said that, your channel is awesome. You really feel like you are part of the adventure.
Thanks so much 😊, the vids are a lot of fun to make while out there having a good time. Hahaha pretty sure the parents have gotten used it by now 🤣 Cheers for watching!
Tasman grew up in Cook strait so he knows what wild weather is fun and what is dangerous so I have no fear for him and look forward to his adventures 😀
Beautiful scenery grear trip you are brave to go through those big swells ha ha that seal was not a friendly one thats sure ha ha can't wait for the next episode 😂😂
Your little comments on annoyances are so reassuring for me. Like not liking the shark when you're diving, how bad putting on a wet wetsuit is, how you don't want to get in because its cold or how the water is rough and unenjoyable. Sounds strange but not many other youtubers talk about a lot of that stuff and its so nice to hear it from someone doing these types of missions because it makes me feel like I could do the same! Often these adventure channels dont talk about any fears or unpleasant things that happen! Amazing video series and I'll be tuned into the rest! subscribed too!
I had to watch this a second time because i cannot believe the calculated risks you took....😲😳😱omg.....!!!!!! I need a break before embarking on viewing Part 3.😵💫
Thanks Mark! Yeah couldn't have worked out better 😁. I took 100L, which turned out to be enough to make it round to the north coast of the island again, but I'd bought another 20L off some hunters in Port adventure since I knew I'd need a bit more 😂. So used about 105L, over about 450km 👌
Mate your adventures are next level, me and my kids been watching a bunch of your adventures tonight, super awesome, we all think you are very brave. Looking forward to the next one.
Wow, this mini-series is proving popular! You’ll need a social secretary to review and reply to comments in no time. That hail was awesome, this is quite an adventure, hail, lions, sharks and mountainous waves. I think it was sea lion lust, not trying to kill you. hehe. Those waves were gigantic. Why didn’t you turn around? And the idea that there is food you don’t eat or like, made me laugh. What is it with muscles? I’d have liked this to be about three times longer, some of those stops looked interesting and I wanted to see more! I have this thing going where I watch the video at 4.01pm, then get to watch it again later in the week and comment. It is just as good watching the second time, and that drone footage was wicked.
A comments secretary would be hilarious! Hahaha that sea lion comment caught me off guard 🤣🤣. Oh turning back sure crossed my mind! But that was the best weather for a while, and my forecast was running out. Mussels are just yuck you know 😂 all soft and weird. We'll see how long the last part turns out 😆. Haha sounds good, was worried we'd lost ya with no comment on Monday 😉. Thanks Paul
PS - bro 2 star accommodation in Northland is like 4.5 star anywhere else in New Zealand we just don't over advertise - Tons of pigs and fishing an hour away east or west ... So the series would start - Traveling North to meet some weird people and hunt some pigs, could turn into a fishing trip while we bait up some pigs - Hands up all those in Auckland that would travel to Whangarei to pick up some Fresh Wild Pig ...
My estimation of the sea lions is people feed them. Although some encounters seem way more aggressive than others. You’d know best. Wish people would not feed them though. I’ve had them come up and fiddle with the back of my fins while diving and it freaks me out tbh. Idk tho, there is some aggression / territorial / human feeding error all combined and makes it confusing. These vids are the real deal amigo great stuff
Pretty sure their behavior isn't due to human feeding, though I couldn't say for sure, but there couldn't be enough people down there to change so many of the behaviours. I'd put it down to being territorial, but yeah can be pretty freaky for sure! Thanks mate, cheers for watching 😁
Those sea lions that came out on the beach......one of them was HUGE!. Definitely wouldn't want that one coming at ya 😂. What do you use to recharge the drone & Go pro batteries?.
Yeah pretty glad I didn't have a run in with one of the phat males 😅. I use a bunch of 18650 Lithium ion cells, 3 in series for 12V and then just a cigarette lighter for usb charging 🤙. Also on this trip I had a few makita batteries with a similar transformer thing. Rather than having lots of powerbanks 😂
This trip I just used pack liners inside my backpack. Latest trip in Fiordland I used a seabuck drybag, and a waterproof wooden chest I made with plastic bags inside for food. Cheers 🤙
Thanks mate! It's an 18hp Tohatsu, beaut wee engine and reliable as 😁. I took 100L from the mainland which turned out to be enough to get back around to the northern coast of Rakiura, but I'd bought another 20L off some hunters in port adventure since I realized I'd be needing a bit more 😂
Have ta 🤔 what did mom say when she seen da big wave dash Know ya dun it all ya life but STILL one wrongin wave an wind ya outta luck Nice cooking show again that hail turned beach ta pumus
Another great vid Tassie ,i bet the old butt cheeks were puckered a bit more ways than one in those swells, i am super impressed that you continue to have these adventures with minimal gear just goes to show you don't have to have a million sponsors or bucks to have a great adventure, just keep taking the mincer and she'll be all good 😊
Yeah I tried a bit of a shouting/growling/hissing noise combo but they didn't care even a little bit so I gave up 🤣. Aww hey thanks bro, I'll check it out, much appreciated 😊
Awsome what you do , I left Invercargill in 1975 because it was to cold can’t believe your getting around in thongs, now watching from the comfort of my home Jeep it up😊
To be honest ... we at Opouteke River don't get attacked by Sealions on a Daily basis - yeah To be honest I haven't been pushed out of my tent by a sealion in 23 years - maybe I'm just too old for them to eat ... I don't know how they'd tell an old sealion ... all Sealions look the same to me, Looking up saying "Come on come down the tree you sod, I'll chew your legs off" Friendly people aren't they ...
How would you like to hunt some pigs up north? - I can provide 2 Star accommodation I'm not coastal - more River - with tons of bush and 3 pigs to every tree and I'm looking for someone to come and drop the numbers by as many as they can and I'm willing to help. If I was that person I'd shoot a few possum and leave a few trail cams in fresh rooting areas till I knew there's pigs that are waiting for a feed so How would you like to hunt some pigs up north? There is fishing either side and lots of really good video stuff ??
I have 30 acres backed on to 300 acres and only a River between wild pigs and My Pasture. I'm looking for a Pig Hunter willing to travel North. There's enough wild pig here that 5 hunters with dogs could handle this without falling over each other. Applicants Must control their dogs.
Amazingly - I'm in Northland and I've come up with an idea to bring Peace to the world without leaving home ... We teach all the wild animals [especially anything americans like to hunt] to use an AK47 ... We make american looking cardboard targets for Fish to shoot - [a Level Playing Field] - Every small boat must have an american Fish styled Bulls eye painted in the underside of the Hull to even the game up a bit. PRODUCTS FISH PEOPLE COULD MAKE AND SELL IN LOCAL MARKETS Hooks That break - advertising terms like "United blar blar superhook - Grease Nipples where they count! No Other Fish Hook maker has Greese nipples on all moving parts - your failure excuse to land the fish is in the attached pdf file ... EG: god let it get off, WOW that was 70 meters long and I saw it, IT WAS AN ALIEN trying to communicate with me ... yes all available with every packet of "Lets let them go Fish Hooks"
The scale of the adventures undertaken to bring us this cooking show continue to impress! Looking forward to the final installment.
Hahaha it would be a pretty average quality cooking show without the adventure part 😅 Cheers Marc 👌
Definitely not a cooking show lol. It's adventure show
Bro you are the definition of "Full Send". Love the adventure spirit! Keep charging...which I'm sure you will!
🤣 Cheers Ben! Absolutely, plenty more to come 😁. Been enjoying your vids too mate, keep em coming 👌

love ya adventures but man that's dangerous in that rough sea... hope you had a plb or some sorts :o
Yep, had my plb in a zipped jacket pocket, just in case I went for a little swim 😂. Also the boat wouldn't sink for a while either 😅. Cheers mate
Hi Tasman, you would be awesome as a tutor,, any chance you take people hunting and fishing?
Haha thanks, I have taken a few newbies out over the years but things have been so busy with the new job I probably won't for a while now 😂
Don't chase the seals they say but doo they tell the seals 😂😂
Nice hits on fish dead before they realize
Kia Ora, I’m glad I came across your content! How much fuel did you have onboard before you left?
Thanks for watching! I took 100L, and bought another 20 along the way. Cheers mate 👌
How much gas did you take to get right around and back to riverton?
About 105L 👌
How do you keep all your gear dry on the rough crossings?

G’day Tasman did you report the cat you saw in 1st vid?
Nah, didn't know that was possible, I'll look it cheers!

What language is this? I understand 1 word out of 10

Not really😂 kiwis speak English slang too fast with no gaps in between the words. It's bad enough in person let alone in a youtube video😅
