Wow bro, some of the most amazing footage ever!! Nice vid man. For those of us who know this place…it sure is magic. Glad you’re helping keep it that way.
Amazing work brother, you've gone next level with this one, really amazing, from your calm demeanor, to the awesome intro, 37k views says it all my bro, much love all ways
As a fisherman I my first thought was trying to find that spot, but it's so incredible it should be protected. You should take tourists snorkeling there. Or maybe nature watchers with a glass bottomed boat.
Kiaora tena koi I'm a fishman from the North Hokianga.I know looking at your video very touching home because I'm living in Perth it's unbelievable to see te ika moana that u had discovered something no other people see experiences. I love my fishing to i learn from my father as a young boy I knew the places the names ika pirau means rotten fish it's something u will never forget this show your tamariki I will be watching u keep up good mahi .
Just had this pop up after watching another fella. Good stuff, man, love the relaxed vibe. That area you're in is beautiful. Can't believe the number of snaps in the shallows. Sure hope it stays quiet & undisturbed for you locals. Following you now... 🤙
1st time viewer definately subscribed great footage and respectful of the resource with out all the bullshit and high fives keep up these great productions bro
A very good passed friend of mine told me of this place, never fished it and don’t think I ever will, I totally agree with your opinion “ you’re not hiding this possie you’re protecting the fish, the footage was easily the most beautiful and awesome of fish in their own environment of how it used to be in NZ 👍👍👍👍👍
So cool man, good on you man.i heard the snapper use to do that in bay of plenty in estuarys and shallows up katikati.keep it quiet and hope the continue to grow and breed and thrive in there own enviroment
Bro great video man. Amazing footage of them snaps in the shallows. You’re living a beautiful life man. So awesome thanks for sharing. Aroha to you and family bro.
Awesome vid bro. The humility you show is something more you tubers good learn. You don’t have to highlight how many fish you can catch and release, no ridiculous celebrations , this is an example of how we should respect the gathering of our Kai.
Sooooo Cool Kane, this is some of the best-no, definitely the best shallow water footage I have seen! Brillian vid MATE! Adam, do you remember me, we fished together a couple of time some years ago.
@@thenorthcoastadventure Yea, I was the writer guy in the camper; we met at the wharf, it was at the time you were thinking of setting up this great channel. I was in Northland last autumn but didn't get to the far north because the said harbor was closed to boats. Anyway, I will probably catch up in January if you are about. GREAT channel! Happy to see your awesome videos!
Another mean episode bro, keep it up. Hopefully a sponsor hooks you up a new Waka , not that there's anything wrong with the humble tiny! You're content is heaps better then half the other fella's out there .👊😎👌
Great video good to it hasn’t changed much it is a special place and needs to be looked after have seen big great whites smashing Tope sharks on edge of the channel 35 years ago
@@thenorthcoastadventure Love the FFN bro. Moved away years ago but used to do missions with my brother and sons in those waters. Thanks so much for sharing and reminding me. Great humble content Bro....
Great filming from the drone. Were they breeding or just schooling in the area? See and Oldman catching a good feed. I fish off a mussel farm and we have plenty of luck there to. Chur chur. Keep the filming quality up and ill be subscribing. 3:02
epic video. by the way i know the spot you're fishing i also have a spot with lots of fish like that and tails out of the waters thanks for not telling everyone where it is.
Chur meke footage young fella! Solid to see you take the old man out with you two! Thats what this lifes about making memories that last ☝️ Good on the locals for holding it down to protect the area 💯 to these key board warriors saying they wont stop me or my crew haha let us know how far you get kahi post a vid on your channel 👊
Not that many harbours up north with limited access have a decent look on the charts, haven't been to parengarenga for a long time but wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to shut that off.
please can you show and recommend to us all your finger-therapist because it's just incredible how you can still prod your keyboard buttons so easily after all the heavy wringing you obviously keep doing with your hands.
@@thenorthcoastadventure Oh man that’s so tragic, sorry to all the people who enjoy that area. I’ve been going there for over 20 years. Those Far North folk are determined to take our precious public land to control then shut it off to the public. This has happened to Taputaputa Bay, Matai Bay, The Bluff, Scotts Point, Parengarenga, Te Paki Stream, Puheke Beach and more in just a few short years. I reckon they will try and cut the entire coast off to the public
I know where this fish haven is! Been there done that but you have to ask permission from the private land owners to access it by car. Yopu can get there by boat as well as...
@@gregvanderlee2553 It says "Private Harbour" not private access. You can have reserves but nothing in the Harbour or any ocean around NZ is private. Also you can always boat around from a pubically accessible spot.
@@gregvanderlee2553 I'm a Kiwi and we have the right to access any fresh or salt water in the country except for private boat marinas and military exclusions. I had an ex-pat American try to tell be otherwise and that he owned the beach that I was on once, it didn't end well for him.
It's not a private harbor but the Iwi have done their best to cut off access to it for anyone that is not local. With the intention of preventing the spread of Caulerpa brachypus an exotic seaweed that could be a big problem if it got established in this harbor. The only way in that is not on iwi land is through the bar crossing. It might seem harsh but if things turn bad no one has anything
@@thenorthcoastadventure Not trying to be argumentative but there is access, over the bar, and no one that gains access that way can be removed by law. So it's not 'private' it's restrictive access.
