Mate myself and my wife have been professionally in the outdoors for 17 years each, you are hands down running the most down to earth and exciting kiwi adventures on TH-cam. Missions are made to look easy, love the catch and cook style and natural history interp. Thanks so much.
Lol, I was cracking up watching Red Current take on Stephens Passage. And you even stopped for a fish, there is nothing this boat can't do. A trip around the Chatham Islands next I reckon! We've actually done a Durville circumnavigation and we had a really good time so it's awesome to see the island again. On a completely different topic I recently saw that Alone Australia is currently casting for season 3, and just quietly I reckon you would make an epic contestant so do us all a favour and go fill in an application form for some more wild adventures👍 😃
She's a trusty vessel for sure! Though she did NOT enjoy scraping down the summer flow Clarence a week ago 🤣 Chathams would be epic 😁. That's awesome, it's a really cool spot! Hahaha that's a great idea! I'll have to look into it, it'd be hilarious 😂. We did apply for "Tracked" in nz a couple years ago, cool to see The weekend mish win that!
Jack of all trades. Is there no end to your skills. If I was ever asked what one thing I'd take to survive on an island the answer would be Tasman. Hopefully no fish were really harmed in the making of this video.
Thanks Paul! Haha I certainly wouldn't say no to the apocalypse 😂. And yes, I can confirm that absolutely no fish were harmed, except for some of them 😉
You are truly extraordinary.🧐 Again I Loved this adventure and proud you shared a little of it with your mom and dad in this.🤓 But Your courage to under take your journeys with Little RED is amazing. 😎 The islands look incredible to explore the way your doing it.😃 The fishing speaks for it self-Wow.😋 I have total admiration for your bravery and complete envy of your sea hunting and journey exploits.😉 I just love your Vids Tas.👌 Thanks for continually bringing them to us. 👏Just please don't become complacent.😲 Your competency on land & sea are very good. 😯 Just keep Taking care.🙏
Aw thanks so much! Really appreciate it, your to kind 🙏. Thanks for watching, the adventures and making the vids are a lot of fun 😊. Good reminder to not become complacent, unexpected things can happen anytime. You take care too!
Awesome video Tasman. Loved it. Those oysters in butter looked delicious. Those currents and waves up by the big kahawai schools looked insane. So cool to see you back out there being an absolute legend on the lil red boat. Cheers mate. Winny
Thank you! Haha nothing like a good adventure on the cheap 😁 she sure was a bit bashy on the way over from qc , don't recommend a 20knot on the nose NWer 😂 but everything else was pretty breezy!
Take some superglue, jam it on the cracks and it will seal them and they won't tear and hurt. Fair warning, I have no idea how good it is for your skin. The method has served me well over the years :)
For those painful line cuts construct a finger stall from an old bicycle inner tube. You can also make a lanyard from the same piece of rubber as the stall to hold it in place. Love the economy and feel of handline fishing. Enjoy your adventures.
Cripes mate i am originally from Southland but now live in the South Burnett in Australia i have and still do lots of wild arse adventures but i have to take my hat off to you. Well done keep itvup
Got your Tamure in the end bro, nga mihi 😆👉🏽💥🐟👏🏽👏🏽🤙🏽 gd variety of ika Tas. Noice to have mum and dad along for an adventure too. That ray was phaat as
Such excellent content Tasman. Thanks for taking us along. I imagine that next time you will take your rifle and a big rod for kingies and hapuku... looking forward to the next installment thanks!
Thanks Paul! Yeah I figured there wasn't a whole lot of point hunting for a whole deer in the heat of summer in the middle of a longer trip, same with the kingies or groper, without ice they wouldn't last for long 😅. Cheers mate!
Epic videos bro 🤙🔥👌 hey whats a good outlet or website for inflatable boat and motor..just wondering what your using as im about too purchase one myself and embark on some epic journeys
Thanks bro! I'm not too sure to be honest, my boat model isn't selling them anymore, but I think they're similar to a "rockboat". And just find a Tohatsu dealer near you, can thoroughly recommend them! Good on ya, get amongst it! (And stay safe 😆)

Feeling pretty fortunate tbh 😁. Thanks!
Your video's are a breath of fresh air in a genre full of blinged out stabicrafts, can't believe you took the rubber ducky from QCS to D'Urville!

Love your adventures i have good meof lucky bay and greville harbour
Cheers Steve, awesome spots for sure 😁
My favorite part was the 2 stingrays at the end, and that water, wow so clear
Me too! They were epic. Water did look good, particularly further north, getting a bit cloudier in the harbours. Nothing like down here though 🤣
Cripes mate i am originally from Southland but now live in the South Burnett in Australia i have and still do lots of wild arse adventures but i have to take my hat off to you. Well done keep itvup
Cheers mate! That's cool to hear, good on ya, nothing like getting out there amongst it 😁
Great adventure as always! That weka pinching your breakfast was a laugh. Looking forward to the next episode. Thomas

Have you thought about wearing some type of gloves when you are fishing with hand line, great vid miss this type of content from you
Yep, but only after I've left them at home 😂! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed 😁
If you want to stop those cracks on your fingers use some bike inner tube cut into about 1inch works awesome
Great idea! Probably improve your grip on the line too 🤙
@NZWildAdventures it does but most of all protects your finger
Epic videos bro 🤙🔥👌 hey whats a good outlet or website for inflatable boat and motor..just wondering what your using as im about too purchase one myself and embark on some epic journeys
