I love the 48 hydro walk. Good for hills and slopes too. My mower is a 52 inch proline its great.
Love this machine key start, easy deck height adjustment , larger back tires ..very ergonomic as a operator. Oh and don't forget the valkie that does not need to come off
And the push start blades
Every mower has it's 👉--point push or self propelled mowess small accounts. Sit down parks schools feilds .Stand on mowers Gas stations residential accounts that are flat Walkbehinds perfect in wrt season and on slopes hills lake side's i love the mower
Pumped about gie this year 🙌
Just bought a 54":hdx. Got a great deal on it. I can't bring myself to spend 10g+ on a mower
What did you pay if you don’t mind telling?
Kevin kringle it was a Demo unit of theirs so it has some cosmetic issues from sitting out. It was listed at $6300, I got it with a chute blocker and mulching blades and I had to pay labor on it to get it installed so I paid $6800 out the door. They gave me a full 3 year 750 hour warranty from the time I bought. It was a great deal. It makes my legs pretty tired from standing all day. I wish I would have brought a sit down 52"
Bro great podcast today 👌
🙏
Hey what's up thanks for putting together a fun event at the copper &kings distilery . Got my free stuff. Subscribed..
Awesome, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! 💪😎
This is a great video! I'm in my first year as a solo lawn business owner and I just subscribed to your channel. I think you have a lot of content that will be helpful! But I was hoping you, or someone, can clarify something for me...I just bought an old 36" Toro Proline and the guy I bought it from, referred to it as a "hydro"...but it's belt driven. So I have no idea what I have. I thought these things were either hydro or belt driven, not both. I'm confused...lol
- Rob
Thanks for your kind words and subscribing. Both types have belts. But the easiest way to know if you have belt drive versus hydro is if you have gears to shift to go faster or to go in reverse. If there's nothing to shift and you can control the speed with the handles, it's hydro.
@@LawnCareRookie that's very interesting. My Proline has a shifter with 4 forward gears and 1 reverse.
@@reliablelawncare8409 then it's belt drive 👍
@reliablelawncare8409 then you have a belt drive. ( Not HYDRO)
Great video cool mower
I can’t get this damn package open
With all the hilly yards in my area a 36 walk behind is a goal addition. I'm really leaning toward a ProSlide too. Have you tried one Naylor?
Not the pro slide. I looked into it many years ago but just ended up getting a velke
@@LawnCareRookie
I still aim to get one if I get the walk behind.
Thanks for all you do Naylor👊🏼🧔💚
I have a 36 walk behind and I love it ! What brand gloves and sunglasses ?
Gorilla grip gloves, 5 pack on Amazon. Sunglasses also on Amazon 👇 smile.amazon.com/dp/B079X9NFZ1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_Q317K9T1Q6XY5TA5WGFZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Do it stripe good
Gd dayll Love your channel!! Does the 48 hdx walk behind deck come out past the back wheels for trimming and do you have any problems with the mower. Thankyou in advance !!
Thanks!
Yes it does.
No problems, it's a Butte!
Did you have you sulky add to mowers cost or have buy it separately
It's separate
hey i just found your channel while over on lawn care life watching the grandstand multi attachment mower with dump video. Do you know if a person could run an accelerator side bag and collect clippings, and then just put them into the dump bed. A person could empty the accelerator bagger a cpl times, and then just transport the full dump bed over to a dump location to get rid of the grass clippings...any idea if that theory would work? it would save time i think if bagging was necessary.
That's a great idea actually! 👍👍
How wide is that discharge opening? The Lazer z discharge are so narrow in any but of damp grass it's always clumped
I haven't measured but it's very wide. I haven't had any problems plowing through thick tall wet grass!
Have you tried it on some step inclines yet? My company just got one to replace our old models and they don't seem to take the hills as well. Felt more prone to flipping over. We use a velki as well. Any advice?
I agree, they like to pop up. I take the velke off and keep the front weights on when I'm on hills. That helps a little.
Go slow when turning on hills , step off
I’ll be honest with you, I have a hard time stomaching the costs of a walk behind. For not much more a ztr or stander can be had.
These new walk behinds are a lot more affordable 👍
They all have their place...
Do some homework and shopping Joshua mangus. I run a 36" exmark turf tracer and just bought a 54" proline. I can't bring myself to spend more than 7g on a mower. I'm very happy with both. I mow alot of cypress knee yards and a few slopes. These are light mowers like he said. I'm a 1 man show and it's perfect for me. I currently have 40 customers and it's February
Are you still using the ramp rack system?
Yes sir!
@@LawnCareRookie nice. I’m really thinking about buying one. I have a inclosed trailer now. Only thing is I live in ohio and there’s no dealers around here.
@@rodneynethers8278 they can ship it to you. If you get one, use code LCR to save 10% 👍
Where you been Naylor?
Super busy
We got a 36 inch proline and man I’m not impressed with the deck at all. Leaves a lot of stragglers. Doesn’t create a lot of vacuum. Our old Deere did a better job
The 48 hdk is very impressive. I don't recall having those issues when I demoed the 36... It was just too light in the front even with wheel weights. But they've been working on that.
Sorry for your luck arriaga lawn maintenance. My 54 leaves a very nice finish
