8 years ago I started my business with a Toro Recycler push mower. A couple years in the front of the mower was cut off to make it into a mini brush hog. To this day after many hogging jobs with it it still works. Nice job toro. Very well built push mower back in 2015-2016 era roughly

I started with a 21 toro walk behind until the transmission blew out...then went to time master and now currently using a 36 Grandstand Tor and love the power and how it cuts so clean.

I love Toro equipment. My first experience was in 2001 after my 10 year old Lawnboy poop out. It was going to cost $265 to fix. So I looked at what new mowers the Hardware store had for sale. Bought the personal pace 21” recycler with the mulching kit. I still have it 22 years later. The last 12 years as a trim mower were my Timecutter 3200ss get get to. I have had it since 2011 mainly it fit the my back yard gate on my 1/3 acre lot. Still going strong 12 years later. I have to admit that it only has 220 hours on it. Get my mowing time from 2 hours with the walk behind to 1 hour with the zero turn Timecutter mower.
Now my old Personal Pace mower seen better days. Thinking about getting the 69 volt lawn mower. Mainly because I have the 60 volt single stage snowblower and can use the same battery so all I need is the tool only mower. Did I mention that I had 3 Toro snowblowers. A Toro 724 two stage bought in 1995, I guess that was my first Toro. A 826 two stage bought in 2013 I have heath problems so can’t to snow removal any more. I a guy to it but his two snow blowers died on him and he borrowed my 826, to finish his customers drives. He liked it and I sold it to him in in January if 2022 and he is still using it.
Bought the 69 volt snowblower for my wife to do snow that is 3” or less. I call my guy if it is more.

The timecutter 34 does not fit into 36 inch gates. The mower is about 40 inches wide

Price wise, the 34 timecutter zero turn is definitely the best. Grandstand is the complete package, proline only if you have hills otherwise not worth it.

I just bought a 34" timecutter i will get it in 2 days here in tulsa ok , I can't wait to get my hands on it and mow my lawn, plz do make a video of the timecutter 34" but in slopes and hills to see how far can be push to thest.

That small of a zero turn will leave ruts. You can't convince me it doesn't. I run a 36 turf tracer, 54" proline hdx and I do keep a 21 on my trailer

ok so i just bought a brand new 42 inch timecutter from tractor supply and runs good but when i pull the dipstick if its running oil shoots out and it seems excessive too me lots of blow by going on
it has less than an hour on it? do i call kohler or what ? it has the kohler 7000 22hp

No one has the 34" where I live. Sold out everywhere. 42" is in stock in multiple places though

You can use the smaller grandstand as a walk behind if you need to be easy on the grass, then stand on for when you want

toro is a great mower but i think wright sells more in the stander department. I have been to dozens of dealers in the upper east coast and its rare to find a dealer that doesnt carry wright standers, t takes a minute to find a commercial toro dealer though. from what most of the dealers tell me they sell more wright stander i, b, and x models than most other similar commercial mowers.
Since toro canceled their engine, which engine is the best now? In walk behinds.
It’s not a matter of which engine is best, for the remainder of 2021 and 2022, it’s a matter of which engine is available. Briggs and Stratton will pretty much be the only option available from all mower manufacturers except Honda. Honda stopped providing GC engines to all other manufacturers. You may run into a model or two with the Kohler XT675 engine but this is not Kohler’s proudest achievement, given the two options a Briggs is your best bet.
@@mainstreetmower thats interesting because I prebought a toro with a Honda engine online from a popular tool company. I guess they didn’t know what you do before they listed it. “Shipped in January” is what there site said.

We have been out of stock for a few months now, hopefully back in stock soon. We had it easy in central Florida compared to other counties

No everything but the Recycler is made in Minnesota. Toro is an American company founded in 1914. In their early years Toro build farm tractors and later built tanks for the US army during the World Wars. Today The Toro Company is the largest mower manufacturer in the world worth over $10b. Toro has a portfolio that includes eXmark, Irritrol, Ditch Witch, Z-spray, Left Hand Robotics….and is the market leader in both innovation and sales across most of their product families. The recycler push mower is made in a Toro owned and operated factory in Juarez, Mexico.
@@mainstreetmower I was looking at a mower in a local store as I used to use Toro in the 90’s when I was a green keeper to do the greens they were very good when they worked but if they went wrong it was always expensive no matter what.
The one in the local store was around 21 inch ideal for our back garden area but when I read made in China and a Mcallister what’s next to it was identical but for the colour and about 25% cheaper so I left it I ended up getting a Stihl RM 253 T. What was in the sale at another garden centre for just £200 it’s a really great machine first fill and oil put in and it started on the very first pull so very happy and cuts great.
If the Toro was made in USA I would have bought it but passed and ended up with a great mower half the retail price.

It’s not odd. When you are a business owner, you get it. You sometimes have to not just look at what the mower costs to buy, but it’ll cost you over the spread of loan(if you get one). Because $8000 can seem daunting but when you spread it out over 36/48 month 0% loan, it’s not bad at all.

The 30 inch toros aren't as reliable as you say they are. Our company bought a bunch of 30 inch toros with the Kawasaki motor and they all had problems related to random bolts unscrewing, to mower decks cracking, and engines breaking. Extremely unreliable buy a second mower as a backup, you'll need it!
That's very unfortunate. We're sorry you had that experience. However, that's not something that we hear much, if at all, in our service shop.

34" riding mower will not fit 36" gates. It needs a 40-inch clearance, i waste my money on it.
