    36 inch or 32 gets you in most all gates!

    The only thing i hate
    Is the control i think
    the T bar or H bar
    steering is better
    Than a 0 - control.

    I like walk behinds for hills and cuting in Apirl/March or rainy 🌧 season due to you are not on it and can back off a property with out destroying the lawn.

    headache!

    Impressive! The newer walk behinds look great, the controls look like the grandstand. The single lever adjust is a great feature; the Exmark version turf tracer still has the floating deck w pin adjusters. Years ago I owned a 32” Toro w the T bar it was an awesome mower.

    The deck on these units are the Titan Deck (step down from Turbo Force basically)

      That's what I don't like about the new Toro proline walk behinds.... I've got an old 2008 model Toro 36' proline hydro walk behind with the turbo force deck. The turbo force deck cuts SO NICE!! Especially with mulching blades!!!
      I mow my personal lawn with the old Toro 36! And I've got several other mowers that are WAY newer, and WAY more expensive than my old Toro 36. But the cut quality is really hard to beat on that Turbo Force!!! MAYBE a Walker would be an equal or better cut quality??
      I've never used a Walker mower before. I'd love to hear some opinions on which mower has the better cut quality, Walker or Toro Turbo Force...

    So disappointed that Toro doesn't make a belt drive walk behind any more. The only one i can find is a Scag. And it has a fixed deck and pistol grip controls! Not ideal!!

    The Proline HDX version of the 48 has the stronger deck, bigger engine and hydrogear. I been wanting to demo one myself and feel out the twin lever vs other grips on the market. Love the Videos and the Advice and Logic you bring to the channel. Keep it Up Brotha

    LCR.. Thanks for showing the Proline.. Nice review.. (My comments may seem wierd but follow me..) The thing that has always bothered me is the way the walk behinds (36" and bigger) are designed.. And they all seem to have the same design... They are really much longer than they need to be. Look at the 21" walk behind mowers. The 21" mowers have the directly engine over the deck.. Standers have the engine pushed forward more over the deck. The Proline and other 36" and bigger walk behind decks have the engine/gas container/controls way off the back of the deck. There is really is not anything directly over the deck. Why can't the 36" and bigger walk behinds have the engine pushed more forward over the deck, thus also maybe move the gas/controls up further too?? This would have several benefits.. 1) Put more weight forward.. It would make for more balanced mower.. get rid problem of the front wheels doing a wheelie.. 2) Make the mower more compact (shorter overall)... and take up less room on the trailer... and improve mower control when mowing....
    Just wondering if this design might improve the bigger walk behinds... Let me know what you guys think..

    I don't get the controls. Isn't it annoying having to let go and move your hand to the other bar every time you want to change direction? I'd rather hold on to one set of handles the whole time.

    • @LawnCareRookie
      @LawnCareRookie  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure what you mean... My hands stay on the two levels the whole time, unless I have to adjust the deck height or something.

    • @blackbirdlawncare
      @blackbirdlawncare ปีที่แล้ว

      What I mean is it seems like to go forward, you squeeze the levers toward the front bar, with your thumbs on the levers and your fingers on the front bar. Then to go in reverse, you squeeze the levers toward the rear bar with your fingers on the levers and your thumbs on the rear bar. I’m not sure though. How do you do it?

    • @LawnCareRookie
      @LawnCareRookie  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blackbirdlawncare I gotcha. Yeah but your hands never lift off the levers. It's kinda hard to explain without showing. It's very seamless once you get the hang of it. I guess there's a little learning curve.

    Nice video but NO THANKS with this mower. I'm pro Toro. Use them exclusively, but they blew it with this machine. I'll take the Exmark Turf Tracers anyday over that machine. The controls are terrible. You can never relax your hands The ECS controls on Exmark blow Toros control away. I'm sorry but Toro lost me with those machines. They discontinued the traditional hydro and belt walk behinds for this crappy series. I'm here on Long Island where 99% of companies have at least 1 walk behind on board with them. No one and I mean no one uses that series.
