Hey man nice video I’ve been playing for a while now and the best way I find to beat a black widow is to use a faster weapon like the toenail simitar with strong armour like folly Polly armour aswell as the mithridism mutation also to bait out the widowlings first with bow and arrow, you can also make heals with any 3 items and a muscle sprout for the beefy effect and gum for the sticky effect, although the Sarah charm is great I think a better charm over all is the Thor pendant which you can find in the stump which is just a massive boost to all stats and heals for any I counter really, the black widow should be fought after the black and hills and all super chips being done and I would reccomend not really touching the upper yard til then, she also attacks with both the orb weavers and wolf spiders attacks so be sure to practice agains then and get those perfect parry’s down before trying to deal with her. Personally I find the brood mother easier because of the slashing spicy weakness she has so u can infuse your simitar with spicy globs for that. so after making a poison build myself i realized i do a lot of damage but im not sure what each icon is (there six that come up). I use a widow dagger level 7, mask of the brood mother level 7, widow spaulder level 7, and widow leggings level 7 and fire ant shield for mutations i use assassin, mom genes, cupe de grass, reliable friend and shocking dismisil. I know the icon for defense stat lowering is the ant shield, i know venom is from the mother demon mask, and the blood is the bleed effect from assasin but i noticed i do two types of poison damage which one is probably from the dagger but i dont know what the other one is from and i have this skull icon with legs which i think is also from the broodmother mask but im not sure lol
When I killed the black widow I don't know if they fixed this I used the club of the mother demon because the black widow is resistance to everything but for some reason the club doesn't have a element like slashing so it does a lot more damage compared to other weapons again u dont know if they fixed this
I think you have it wrong the best build is fire ant chest broodmother mask and assassin leggings all sleek with a mighty widow dagger it shreds everything the mutations required are assassin for extreem bleed along with cutsman from the assassin leggings which shred bosses coup de grasse for crit chance and trapper peepr it is broken and it obliterates everything in under a minute exept the infected broodmother
everyone's suggesting how to kill the black widow... I'm not here because I need armor to fight the widow, I'm here because I've killed many already, and wanted a suggested build to work with the Widow gear ITSELF. 🤣

Honestly I am still using the punching build it’s still kinda lit it still fries everything I run into
Simple build for widow is full roly poly with toenail scimitar or fire ant armor with scimitar
If I don’t block a lot can i replace black widow chest peace with brood mother chest peace ? Would it affect the poison damage output?

The only way to heal up right now is to farm these muscle sprout yes? Its taking so much time
