I have a special appreciation for the antlion greatsword, even if it does take a lot of effort to craft. It was the first tier 3 weapon I got and the first one that really felt like I was getting a significant power spike compared to other tier 2 weapons, and gave me the confidence to push through a block I was struggling with in the game and start taking on what (at the time) felt like the harder areas and denizens of the yard. Even though it got outclassed by things like the SMS and mint mace, I still keep a place in my heart for that weapon.

The Bard Bow is not bad at all, you just have to center your entire build around it, which is a deal breaker for some people, but honestly if you do it is insane, especially in co-op

Antlion great sword is the first weapon I get in the game and I think it could be B or possibly A. Its not super hard to get, since antlions do spawn pretty frequently. Once I do get it, its my pre-mint mace weapon, as I use it to take down assistant manager and some of the other lab bosses. You can also get it basically right at the start of the game if you just build up to the sandbox. Although it might not compare to anything else in S, it still is a super easy segway into some of the better weapons.
you know, it might not be a good reason to have the weapon, but the lifesteal ones are good if you just smash your face on the keyoard farming larvas or something completely ignoring getting hit. sometimes i wanna just turn my brain of and mow down a bunch of critters. tiger mosquito for ants and the tick machette for basically everything else, even rollypolly and ladybirds with their slashing weakspots.
Awesome list, however I do think that the morning star should be put in S as its versatility is very efficient especially considering its powerful against many insects, including Black Ox Beetles, Wasp Queen and the Mantis. I also think the Scythe should be A tier due to its strength in pre-NG+, scythe with Apex Predator is really good, you can go for an amazing crit build. Other than that the list looks really good!
Yo Paraly5er I would raise the ant queen staff one because for staff builds it is insane when you get used to quick selecting different staffs. It’s the fastest firing one and has decent range. Because of how different the staffs are, the range of versatility for a mage build is insane. PVE in this game is all about timing for every fight a simple millisecond is the difference between life or death when you are changing staffs. I feel like this staff was a great way to help mage builds have more use. Also in my opinion, it is the best staff to use for flying enemies. In some ways it’s harder to place staffs on this list because staffs are only useful if the player is able to use them correctly. With the addition of friendly fire trinket effects and mutation I feel staffs are now even better in multiplayer
I think the Widow Dagger should be at worst in A tier, with the right build it melts enemies crazy fast, but getting that specific gear is late game so it is hard to get.

just one thing, everything said here based on WOAH difficulty, I respect your opinion and all but according to wiki TIGERT MOSQUITO RAPIER has 40/40/50 damage with 5 stun and also BLADEMASTER mutation. The RUSTY SPEAR has 46/46/58 damage 0 stun, so thats about 10% damage increase compared to the TMR... The RS is a spear so its mutation is JAVELINEER so damage taken by the player is reflected back by 200% at most... In the case of blademaster all damage taken is decreased by 30% and 90% less exhaustion time so this means if you can parry 100% of the time you receive no damage thus no benefit from javelineer WHILE your attacks still decrease enemy damage when using a sword like the TMR. On woah receiving damage without that 30% reduction means you are pretty much dead and the TMR also heals you so I would put it at least into B tier... IF the RS is A tier weapon then I dont see why this sword cant make it into B tier since the RS is either equal OR inferior to the TMR when taking the mutation into account... Btw the TMR's 5 stun will stun a creature at least once so thats an entire volley of attacks which the RS cant do. Putting the TMR into C tier is just wrong, it wrecks ladybird larvas and fire ants the two most common mob types on the upper yard...
Spear does WAY more damage when thrown and I almost always throw it when using it. Attacking with it does make it much weaker and close to the TMR. Also the Rusty Spear inflicts infection on enemies which you forgot to mention

I honestly disagree. Toenail scimitar has gotten me so far, it’s one handed, incredible in new game+ and the 1st world. It can be used in basically any build and is amazing in every element. Paired with black widow armor this is unstoppable. The only bad about it is it is hard to craft.

If only he didn’t yap every second
That’s kinda the point of the video lmaoooo
@@Paraly5er but most people will give their opinion and move onto the next one but you say everything possible about the thing your rating
@@KristianJ777nah, its pretty useful. Its the whole idea of a tier list lol
@KristianJ777 that's the difference between a good tier list and a bad one Paraly5er has good tier list because he actually explains stuff instead of just trying to get the weapons ranked as fast as possible with little to no explination
The salt morning star is honestly really bad, it doesn't do any damage
I disagree, it’s powerful enough. If you use a shield with it it will do less damage like any other 1 handed weapon. The bleed from it also helps massively
Rusty spear and pincher over prod smacker but on same tier as morning star is this rage bait or?
It’s pretty accurate.
@@Khaizen10 pincher n morning star not same tier lol
@@coreyfaith69 he probably put pinch wacker up there because you can get it in the first 20 minutes of the game and it is really good with mad scientist against bosses.
@@Khaizen10 this is about tier 3 weapons how long it takes is irrelevant and at that point you have better options I still think this is bait he plays to much for this 2 be real
@@coreyfaith69 I don’t think this is bait. Some slight differences in what you think should be better doesn’t automatically make it bait. Some people have a bit of bias.
Fire ant club is by far the easiest one to make. Can make the ant club jn less than 10 minutes of gameplay because the red ant hill is so close to the machine.
😂
Fire ant club and red ant club aren't the same thing
Hey pal, you just blow in from stupid town?
??? Who is making fire ant club in 10 mins? What does the red ant hill have to do with the fire ant club?
@@Khaizen10 I mean its not hard to make. It just needs 4 fire ant parts, 2 pupa leather, and 2 fire ant mandibles.
I have all of them and I have beat the game twice and I can say his list is very true
I'm in NG+20 and I've brought the super gas arrows to the Wasp Queen fight every single time. As soon as the ads spawn in I shoot the gas arrows and they absolutely destroy the ads while I'm focused on the Wasp Queen. I'll even shoot the Wasp Queen with a super gas arrow while she's on the ground and start attacking her with melee. The ads will dive towards her to attack me but die from the gas cloud. And I have life steal so gas and haze doesn't affect me during fights. But yea, my point is that gas arrows should definitely be a bit higher cuz they're much more useful than people think. I'm just glad that u ranked the Blaster in B because if ur good at the game, it can actually be very versatile. Anyone who thinks the Blaster sucks, is literally just a noob. Lol Also, everyone is forgetting that the crossbow albeit does more damage per single shot, the Bards Bow shoots twice as fast so the overall DPS is about the same. I prefer to get more shots off than a stronger single shot. But that's my opinion.
You’re in ng+20 but you use super gas arrows on the wasps. Assuming the damage on the gas arrows don’t increase, it would do almost nothing to their healthbar in ng+20.
At ng+20 gas wouldn’t affect you even without lifesteal. Your health would be too big.
