All the Double Black Trails at Lebanon Hills

If you're looking for technical trails in the Twin Cities, Leb is the place to be. Overall, this trail offers more rocks and roots than any other in the metro area, and the double black (or red) loop offers the gnarliest sections. Rock gardens, roots, log step-ups...this section has it all!

One of my favorite Twin Cities spots. I will never understand, however, what it is with you Minnesotans and your rock gardens. There's the one at Leb that's about 20' and uphill and the worst one at Murphy, that for the sake of my shins, I gave up trying!
Great video. Love to see more, especially now that I'm living outside the area.

I love the challenge of a good rock garden! Up north on the Iron Range, Duluth and the North Shore the terrain is naturally rocky, but in the Twin Cities, technical trails need to be made. Thanks for watching!

@@EricJaakkola can always just walk them. The blue course doesn’t have very long stretches for the two rock gardens. I ended up walking most of the time until I got good enough to bike them.

Glad I saw this. I ride Lebanon all the time. I’m always freaked out to take that big looking jump at the beginning of this video but after seeing your side view, it’s proof that it doesn’t launch you into outer space!

Good job on the step up when you come over the last log and there's that big rock there me and my friends don't consider a clean run if you don't go over that big rock I was holding my breath good job
