What a race from Snowshoe! The full replay is available on demand on GCN+ and be sure to tune in next week as the World Series reaches its climax in Mont St Anne.
Drill definitely faster. Surprised they didn’t have drill and faster tread in other zone unless he took a neutral. Think mechanics are costing time by not tossing away old wheel but attempting to manage it while working.
@@sloothix I'm still wondering why Tom's fork didn't have the q-loc. I thought it was proprietary for suntour forks. The wheel replacement would've been faster.
Pidcock is the best in the world, dont forget he is small and light and is winning races with heavy bikes, he is the best power/weight in the world in cycling. He is also able to follow Mvdp and WVA on muddy Cyclocross races
@@lio220 certainly is top talent- I’m with you there. It’s hard to define what “best” means. He certainly is one of the best in cx and mtb. In road I don’t think you can say he is the best.
Without the flat tire Pidcock would have won by a wide margin. He’s from another planet. Nino’s is having an amazing season, very strong. Congrats to Jordan, he never slow down in and remained strong to end victorious.
My bad bro! He is the greatest mountain biker in Brazil of all time, he brought UCI stages to Brazil last year in Petrópolis, at his house. He was the first athlete to be xco, xcc and xcm world champion, he is the guy with the most top 5 finishes in the world cups. It showed that not only Europeans have good legs, South America was seen as a power, it had great battles with Mathias van der Poel and Nino. Avancini is a reference for us 🇧🇷
Fascinating race from the elite men,Great win for Jordan Sarrou!!!What could have been for Tom Pidcock 2 punctures and still got 5th place awesome ride dude!!Thank You Guys 👍👍
In this tournament, I did not see the appearance of Trek Marlin bicycles. Is it because the Trek series is not suitable for racing? Can anyone explain to me? I am currently planning to buy a bike and am wondering about Trek. Marlin vs other brands, can anyone advise me?
A Cross King isn't even slower than a Race King on the front. It is comical seeing these mechanics change a wheel like they've never practiced it under pressure.
Dont want to take anything away from Jordan Sarrou, but Tom Pidcock would've won that race. Technical difficulties happen during the race, what can you do.
Why is Pidcock always having a mechanical? Lol needs to stick to some heavier tires with double sealant 😂. Crazy seeing Nino still competing at this level.
it's possible to weave a new carbon rim by hand , grow your own rubber trees to produce raw rubber that is then processed and formed into a new tire , formulate your own custom organic localvore tubeless sealant and then hand craft that all into a new wheel using hair from 1" above your bib line as spokes - faster than those dudes were able to swap one out in this race
Fill the bloody tire with tubeless sealant n will not encounter punctures, dont skimp on liquid, n put enough bloody air inside. Dont skimp on pressure

It genuinely blows my mind how these XC racers are able to maintain that kind of pace for so long, super human levels of fitness
What a ride from Tom, wow. Pulled off twice and still fought into fifth.

How Pidcock pulled out a p5 after two punctures is unbelievable. What a performance.

Pidcock is also a success on the road and at cyclocross. An amazing all around cyclist. One of a kind
One of the best race i ever seen in the world cup, what a battle!! And Avancini is a legend, thanks for all the brazilian power, we love you!
Nino is just always there - incredible
that is just ....crazy

Agreed, he's a beast!
He is not human. It doesn't make sense.
Valeu Avancini, somos gratos por tudo que vc fez pelo esporte.
Mr Campagnolo has his head in hands watching the Pidcock egg timer slow front wheel change ..
Avancini.H is the real legend! greetings to the Brazilian idol🇧🇷
Why?
@@lio220 WHY are u asking?
@@wilgoo479 why is he a legend, sorry guy I dont know him very much...

Farewell king Avancini. Mountain Bike in Brazil will never be the same after you.
Pidcock looks unhappy on stage, who would with 2 flats. But he was able to climb back to 5th place, what a ride for Tom. Congrats to Jordan Sarrou.
Outrageous from Pidcock. Just outrageous. He is the best male world cup XCO rider right now imo.
Pidcock pulled it on the 5th place after 2 punctures is just so incredible. He was on the 16th and manage to go on the 5th.That was fast!
Avancini´s farwell was definitely one of the highlights...
Fascinating race from the elite men,Great win for Jordan Sarrou!!!What could have been for Tom Pidcock 2 punctures and still got 5th place awesome ride dude!!Thank You Guys 👍👍
Bloody Pidcock would have smashed the competition once again!
great coverage! thanks!
Unbealiveable performance by Tom, he was clearly the strongest looking at the final result.
🤯Pidcock was phenomenal.
Do they not use tyre inserts & tubeless sealant?
Hectic course.😳💪🏻👌🏻
Please make these longer
Dam! action pack race
amazing highligts and commentary you`ve improved,,,
Were there a title for a man of the race? If there were, it should be Tom Pidcock
Very good
poor pidcock/shwartzbauer they woulda prolly won lol
Bad luck for Dascalu.. He was riding very strong in the first pack until the crash..
Tom pidcock is a monster
When did riders be able to get mechanical assistance?
The image of map looks like flying dragon 🐉
They need to develop a quick-release thru-axle for these guys...
Pretty sure I saw Oliver Anthony in the spectator crowds😂
Мой любимчик Шутер рановато начал атаковать.Нино мог сберечь силы и ушел на финише от Француза ,но жаль не получилось
Olé...🚴🇪🇦🤘🏻
why pit bikes for cx and road but no pit bikes for xc? they need to change the rules
Epic!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏💪🏼💪🏼😲😎🏆🏁🤙🏼💯
For all the raving about the winner, Piddock’s puncture was his lucky fortune.

Trek uses the supercaliber
4:41 can't they use a torque driver?
Pidcocks mechanic needs to use a drill motor to remove and install the axel, not by hand.
XCO races should be over 90 min not under
A Cross King isn't even slower than a Race King on the front. It is comical seeing these mechanics change a wheel like they've never practiced it under pressure.
why can't change a new bike instead change a tyre?
Dont want to take anything away from Jordan Sarrou, but Tom Pidcock would've won that race. Technical difficulties happen during the race, what can you do.
would would would.... we just don't know.
This just looks painful!
