Keep up the good work, you are doing great, never give up on your channel if when it seems that you are not growing trust me views will come in time if you are consistent with your vision.
One game I'm really excited about in 2025 is Video Hole Episode 2. It's the sequel to Video Hole Episode 1, which is a charming little indie game where you work at a video store in this weird colorful environment, interact with fun characters, and find cool secrets. And the trailer for this sequel looks like it's going to be just as weird and cool as the original. I can't wait!
I just got Rise of the Golden Idol and I'll be playing it tomorrow! Huge fan of the first game, and I played the demo for this one a couple weeks ago and really liked it. I haven't really heard of any of the others in this video (other than the couple non-indie ones) so I'll have to check them out!
I loved my time with Europa, I’m glad you checked it out as well! I think I’m most looking forward to Towers of Aghasba and Night Stones this month. Also hugely appreciate the shoutout for nocaps, they are always putting new games on my radar and my backlog/wishlist wouldn’t be the same without them 💜
7:00 Slightly confused, from what I can gather there are no microtransactions in Horizon Adventures and I didnt encounter any when playig the latest LEGO Star Wars.
@@rasmusbreymas I was probably thinking of 2K Drive. It's weird, the Star Wars one *felt* like a vehicle for micro transactions even without them! Something weird in the vibes of LEGO games - like a playable marketing campaign somehow
I'm absolutely excited for Great God Grove. I loved Smile For Me, and the demo for GGG was pretty enjoyable! Can't wait to play it when I can! I also added Rise Of The Golden Idol and 30 Birds to my list. Looks fun!
Always a joy to see your indie games roundup lists. Out of this one i think I am most curious about Two Falls and Sorry We Are Closed, and Metafor ofc too.
Got Albatroz and can confirm the performance is horrendous, so disappointed as this could have been a brilliant game. Game mechanics don't work, Long loading times when entering NPC homes which happens often in the villages. The voice acting of many characters is awful and when the world becomes too much it gets grainy and resolution drops a lot. A little more care and time could have made this a real hidden gem but I'm struggling to finish it
@@periurban In the chapter names? I picked this up from fellow TH-camrs - it means people have to watch the video to find out what the picks are, rather than scanning the chapter names and leaving :)
@@GamingInTheWild It means people don't subscribe to someone who doesn't provide them with the information they want. I watch a few successful gaming channels, and I always scan the chapters and go to the parts I'm interested in. You're just making it difficult for me.
The ant game (when not doing intense RTS) is so relaxing and unique. I like just booting it up to walk around as an ant. Very relaxing.
Miss hearing you talk about games Carlos! Will you hop on with Brad for a GOTY episode? Would be a nice Christmas present for all the listeners :)
@@GamingInTheWild yeah that would be nice-can check in with brad
@@GamingInTheWild and thnx. havent talked games even on my own channel for soooo long. but playing everything

Ah damn, yeah that was my experience of the demo. A shame.
I just don't understand why slitterhead is getting so much hate?
I think the audience it appeals to is just kinda hateful tbh
69th like. Nice.
Nice video, but why don't you have the names of the games in the chapters?
