Error acknowledgement: turns out Paradox is a big AAA strategy game publisher, lol. Not indie. I didn't know them-not my genre. A note on errors: I appreciate a polite correction, so thanks for those!
WOOHOO, 'TIS BLUD! A game that i consider not unlike a sort of cousin to Cookie Cutter for the sake of its beautiful hand-drawn animation and a *lot* of blood with a girl who seems to enjoy the violence in the lead role. Though Becky is a lot more innocent than Cherry. Fireside looks quite cute and Dragon is Dead looks pretty amazing. Amongst the ones i didn't know yet that sticks out to me is Tracks of Thought alongside Times & Galaxy. That one especially seems to have wonderful and cool character designs. OUTBRK seems quite unique, makes me think of the upcoming Caravan SandWitch. Ghostboy's idea seems quite swewet, hope that one will do well. I don't quite remember if i've mentioned these on a video of yours yet, but some upcoming games that are on my radar that have yet to release, include: - Resistor - Genokids - My Familiair - The Mermaid's Tongue/The Mermaid Mask - Loco Motive - Whatever Moonhood Studio and Amanita Design are currently working on - Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo - Kings of Hell (warning, that's a bit of a spicy one) And some games in recent years that I enjoyed include Harold Halibut, Soulstice, No Straight Roads, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, aforementioned Cookie Cutter, Nobody Saves the World and Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip. Have yet to play Zet Zillions-- loving the art of that one. Have a good one and take care!
This month of games seems to be much more story heavy while the last month looked more stylistic experimental. Just like books on the literature shelf, it's nice to have a collection of games with a compelling story or an interesting style together. Indie used to be the label of that collection, but it's overused. Having game reviews by somebody who can asses the "extra" a game can have, even when those reviews are small, helps to sift through the pile. (Determining what falls in the literature category, falls on publishers and reviewers, so for luducrature it's probably the same thing.)
Last month was an absolute bounty, for sure. I'd say, a historically good month for indie game releases. It was so dense, the ten I picked came from a long list of 40+. This month took more research rather than everything landing in my lap, for sure.
Seems like you'll struggle to make top 10 best June games video. Hopefully there will be some shadow drops on neoE3. Or not because I have way too many games to play anyway.
@@GamingInTheWildHey, sorry if it felt rude, certainly not what I wanted :$ I was just trying to be helpfull because I tried searching for he game a few days after watching the vid and could not find it. I wasn't being snarky or anything. Great vid thx man.
@@tompuce84 hey I realise I might have misread what you said now - I thought you were like, "go look it up dummy!" haha. You were saying, helps people find the video. Thanks for the correction, I understand better now :)

Great channel! Thanks for supporting the indie game dev dream. (I'm a n indie game dev)
These all look amazing. Looking forward to trying Ghostboy. Myself I am working on a 3D platformer called Gillbert: Guardian of the Grotto 🐠
Haven't heard about Gillbert, is it good stuff?

Can't wait for Blud
Just what a vampire would say
How have we not had a storm chasing game before!? Genius
Right??
Thalassa: Edge of the Abyss could potentially be interesting. It’s on my wishlist so I can check out any reviews when it releases.
Oh, I just read they will have a demo out for Next Fest too
Brilliant news. I'll do a Next Fest video so you'll def see it in that one!

No struggle, there's always a tonne of stuff coming out!
Star Stuff. June 7
and Tavern Talk. Release date, June 20, was announced a little too late for this video.
Dude, the name of the 4th game is TRACKS of thoughts, not TRAINS of thoughts. Makes a great difference when you try to look it up!
Dude, it was a typo-I say "Tracks of Thought" twice in the video. Makes a great difference when you offer a correction without being rude about it.
