Just remember, Nadu is fine in Modern because Ruby Storm is around. According to Wotc.

@@iankane3732 It will always have a bad conversion rate because 90% of the matchups is Nadu vs Nadu, so Nadu always losing lmao
@@andresantana7876 hogaak was also a 20%+ meta share deck and had an absurd like 70% conversion rate. That's what truly busted decks do. We also have the non-mirror winrates we can look at.

Jeskai Dress Down is basically just legacy dreadnaught for modern. Trying to stifle the sac triggers Phlage and Nulldrifter. Those are the decks that are running Consign in the main
I actually think nadu is much stronger than people even realise, playing nadu on mtgo or arena is tiresome as it involves an insane amount of clicking, in paper its 1000 times faster to do and more steamlined, so i dont think it will ever really terrorise online formats, but in paper theres no way this is not hogaak 2.0
That one mill player has the support of thousands of mill fans
Jeskai Dress Down: the plan is to flash in Dress Down on your opponents endstep on turn 2, then evoke Nulldrifter on turn 3 so it sticks around.
Half of the decks are either Jeskai or Nadu. Not sure I would call that diverse. We'll see the diversity of the top 32. Galvanic Discharge surprised me.

Seems like round 1 and 2 should just be put every player up against their own meta and then you could eliminate a good number of nadu decks because they faced nadu decks 😅
And a quarter of the decks are other decks.
Nadu is the entire top 4 cuh
There was so much diversity in the top 4 you had bant nadu, a nadu deck in bant color, a bant flavored nadu, and I believe a 4 color nadu. So wonderful to see all these diverse decks doing well
nice to see that the $500-1000 format will have yearly rotating decks.. Really making sure that the future of modern will be less "eternal" than pioneer while being twise as expensive.
The majority of the cost of most decks comes from the manabase and those haven't changed much
they used to be MORE expensive, thank god for fetchland reprints. Just need more shock land reprints now.
Yeah it's definitely gotten cheaper. Remember when tarmogoyf was $200+? Like 500-1000 isn't bad for a competitive modern deck.

Kind of bummed that pretty much all black midrange decks are mono-black. So many interesting and powerful variants of B/x midrange have been popping up lately, from Orzhov to Mardu to Dimir with Psychic Frog... yet we're not really going to see any of them in the Pro Tour.

I love that there is 1 mill deck I'm a mill modern player and even with the meta change I'm a mill player and refuse to play anything else in tournaments even though I know I ain't winning.
Watch Grief win and they ban Nadu.

Because grief isn't banworthy on power level, people are just massive babies and cry for it to be banned because it hurts their feelings when they get double thoughtseized lol.

My prediction of the no MH3 cards in deck is one of the Grief players.
It’s the domain zoo player probably not using mh3 cards
i play mainly on arena lol and can agree Phlage is nuts ive been on 4C Yorion elementals because you know fury isnt banned there and phlage is so much better than uro like its kinda nuts
Uro never needed to be banned. He only became a problem when Omnath released. God forbid they ban the new card that caused the problem. 😂
