@@Jedicake Like with any multi-draw, library let you draw 2 extra cards so we get the one we normally get for the turn then we rummage twice (each rummage happens separately, in order) then we may pay 4 life twice, for each time we don't pay we must put a card back on top of the library. Note that you'd draw your normal card for the turn first so this should never be mill but always double rummage. And because of how library is worded if you choose to draw twice (hence rummage twice) I believe you only need to pay 4 to leave the one card you still have in your hand in your hand (because it says for each of the chosen cards so that should only happen once when you only have one card)
I mean, who doesn't want a Free Emmy? She's the cutest 15/15 in the game. I do warn you, she has a bit of a temper tantrum, and might munch on some of your stuff.
Whenever you would draw a card other than their first draw in the draw step, instead discard a card. If you can't Discard a card mill a card. If a player discarded a card this way, draw a card. Which is fun, because then you gift them a Colfenor's Plans, or a Dragon Appeasement, to make sure they don't have a draw step, and can't draw any cards in the future. With for example the use of a Puca's Mischief. Also Puca's Mischief in conjunction with Maralen the Mornsong, and giving your opponent a Colfenor's Plans, means they don't have any way of playing the game in the first place. And you could easily do that in a Dimir deck, All you need is Maralen, Colfenor's Plans and Puca's Mischief. Then you could easily combine that with Hivemind+One With Nothing. Just for the luls. Making sure your opponent doesn't have any fun at all. Also remember to keep a Bojuka Bog to get rid of their grave. There's a lot of fun you can have by giving your opponent fun cards.

And since Phil got Emrakul followed by the Blightsteel Colussus, everyone else had to hope for a boardwipe from the Deck of Doom-

Next time, do it more like Planeschase. During your main phase you can roll a d6, on a 6 you get to draw a card from "THE DECK". You can choose to roll again but it costs a cumulative 1 mana each time beyond your first roll on your turn. This way, you always draw from your deck each turn and if you have extra mana, you can blow it on more chances to draw from the deck.
I know the reason of why Phil was so lucky, he had a blue Ultramarine with him and in the setting of 40k it’s a well known fact that Blue is the luckiest color and therefore the ultramarines are the luckiest.
If anyone ever draw cards outside of the one card in their draw step then for each card they'd draw rummage instead (discard then draw) If they can't- mill 1 instead for each of those cards. It's not hard it's just worded the worst possible way.

Basically, when Thoralf destroyed Ashnod's Altar, he killed himself. If that had been left on the board, Fele could have made Phil sacrifice both the Blightsteel Colossus and Emrakul.
I absolutely love the concept of this format - seems like a great way to mix up your EDH sessions! I mean, if you want, it doesn't even have to be evil cards if you set it up yourself, just whatever seems fun for your group.
Love seeing new spins on an "effects deck"! Me and my MTG pals used to do a similar thing, but we simply flipped it at the end of everyone's turn, once per full round. So in a two player match it would be every other end step, in a 4 player it would be every 4th end step.
The absolutely brutal self-lock by Carl, into an Omniscience he couldn't use at all, is just about the funniest thing I could imagine happening with this deck
Day 4 of complimenting great plays instead of pointing out misplays. This one isn't so much of a great play, as a way to go Carl for being such a good sport this game. There were moments ( 22:19 for example) where you can tell he was a little tilted, he did absolutely NOTHING the entire game thanks to his top deck luck, but still was trying to have fun, and be a good host, and enjoy the game for everyone else's sake. VIDEO IDEA: Momir in paper, just make make around 13 stacks of like 100+ cards for each mana value 0-12 you could do this in a commander format with 4 players, maybe even with a commander and all lands in ur deck :) the cards you get to put in the stacks could be randomly selected and you can also do alot with this, like only common or only mythic. or maybe even "only cards

Type 4 was the jam for kitchen table magic. One deck in the middle of the table with about 500 cards in, you have infinite mana but can only cast one spell per turn. Everyone draws from the big deck only.

considering that Boromir, Warden of the Tower, Lavinia, Azorius Renegard and cards like this would be banned in this format obviously, i think the best deck might either be 99 lands or half land half exile creature and some destroy cards and then go for the middle from turn 1 only. as commander best thing would be something that gives your creatures haste or that works with casting cards without mana costs :) you can so hard break this xD
Okay, seeing crazy modes like this are great, and it makes me want to see some planechase with you all! My friends and I would play commander planechase before they started putting new cards with the commander precons, and it's made me want to see play with the new and old planechase cards included!
There is regular commander on 80% of the magic channels, we decided that, as Ling as we have the creativity to offer something that you can't see on most of magic youtube, we always will :) there is no point in offering you more of the same
The deck 100% felt an evil kinship with Phil. I really thought Thoralf had the best shot. His commander was definitely the most suited for the challenge. Too bad commanders weren’t even a factor 😂
