It is very easy to love more than one person. No one can meet all our needs so it makes sense to me that each person offers different things to different people. And relationships can be satisfying with different people at the same time. The modern concept of a love-based marriage does not usually last. I believe if two people have a relationship based on trust, respect, honesty, and the other person has good character, those relationships are the most satisfying over time. But to say we can only love one person goes against our nature as human beings.

If you can't handle your future step son alone you should hold off on marriage until you can. Just hire a nanny they would be easier to replace than the potential of causing an issue if it doesn't work out with Chrissy father and mother in law living under the same roof. Her extended family might get use to the living standards you provide and won't want to move out if you need privacy.

Hello Rob and Chrissy, I like your opinion (an others if you are willing to share) about single mothers. First of all, I think single moms are probably the easiest to get a loyal girlfriend? As she probably won't find that many man that will accept her and her kids (she can't monkey branch). And I've seen many beautiful elegant single moms. However, I feel that I can never be a good father to her child (and be bad father to my own children at the same time). Let me explain. All the money I make is not mine (really it is truth) All the money that I make is really for my children and grandchildren. Small amount of money I don't think there is a problem, but if this amount is say 3 millions or 10 millions?. So the fact that if I share that money evenly to my 3 children and her child. Do you think it is fair for my 3 children (now getting 25% less)? NO. Now if I don't share that money and her child get nothing in the inheritance when I die, is that fair to her child? NO... so this is a Lose-Lose situation. Whichever path I do I am viewed as a bad father by all the children (mine and hers). Then being a step father to her child, I can never discipline them the same way as a biological father. So what is my benefits for raising some other man's kid, yet get no satisfaction, no benefites, no appreciation? I mean if her child is a girl? They only need a false accusation to say, I peeked at them taking a shower and my reputaion could be tarnished. So do you think it is fair? And in this case her son he could harm my daughters to get even for treating him not the same as my other children. Do you see it from my point of view? So a man can have many wives, many children from all his wives, but it must be all his children. Another man's children is a whole different game that I am not wanting to participate. Am I wrong? Dude you are getting ready to purchase a package deal . You need to look at the worse case scenario and that is exactly what is going to happen. Once your woman gets that ring you will find out that her kid is going to be sharing the bed with you and the kid will never fully acknowledge you as his father. A couple of years from now he will probably hate you and when he becomes a teenager he will challenge your authority nonstop. Love and lust are two different things… most humans will easily develop lust on many other people due to a bunch of hormones that will flow crazily throughout their total body blocking rational thoughts as they will turn into emotional persons…. That normally is with only one person BUT there are plenty of persons that had not rationalized yet the term “commitment”. You have to first define who you are. A Hunter or a Seeker. If your interest is just to seduce as many others, then you are just exploring, playing the field and hard to satisfice. They will always want to try more and more… those are Hunters. Full of lust for everyone that could cross their eyes field of vision leaving so many broken hearts in their paths. Seekers are those that know exactly what they want and what kind of person they want into their lives, and yes, questions like this help a lot to determine this. Rationality will be on top of emotions as they will have to control the animal instinct we all have. That lust will always diminish with the time and then love will start to develop as the commitment it is, as it is a decision, not an emotion.
My take, my rule of thumb, 20 years younger is my safe zone. Case of two lovers, there is a feel of greed or hunger. There are games that we all play to convince/overcome our needs. There are video's by others of "the Filipina" games. The ex-pat is/will take her out of a negative financial situation, one must do their homework on their pending lover. Dating women 40 years younger, will not make you younger physically, mentally it might or lead you to believe you are😂😂 good luck on that one. Mind over matter, you don't mind, it don't matter.
My late wife and I went on our first cruise in the 1980's. I am a foodie and I love to eat. The first night in the dining room, everything on the menu looked so good, I had difficulty choosing. The waiter came to the table several times to take my order. After a few times, he suggested I have everything I wanted because I did not need to choose one or the other. We are sheep conditioned to conforming and thinking we must choose one. I learned how good it was to choose what I wanted instead of only choosing one appetizer, one salad, one vegetable, one entree, and one dessert. My wife and I were monogamous then but after 27 years of marriage we opened our marriage and found out how great it is to live outside the box of conformity. I will never go back to monogamy.

Dude you are getting ready to purchase a package deal . You need to look at the worse case scenario and that is exactly what is going to happen. Once your woman gets that ring you will find out that her kid is going to be sharing the bed with you and the kid will never fully acknowledge you as his father. A couple of years from now he will probably hate you and when he becomes a teenager he will challenge your authority nonstop. He is now 6 years old and is well aware that he has a biological father elsewhere. I understand that this sounds very harsh but it is what it is.

Never focus on the 'age gap' it is not relevant, focus on the common grounds and maturity. I have dated women much younger, a little younger, same age and older than me without the intent that age was a focus point. Within my group of friends is a wide range of age gaps, just like in my home country. Every relationship is unique within itself. If a potential partner is still attaining other partners, it is obvious that that person has to deal with internal issues. Being parents takes both partners working together in all decisions and aspects. I am a step dad and a natural dad, all my kids are equally loved.

Love and lust are two different things… most humans will easily develop lust on many other people due to a bunch of hormones that will flow crazily throughout their total body blocking rational thoughts as they will turn into emotional persons…. That normally is with only one person BUT there are plenty of persons that had not rationalized yet the term “commitment”.
You have to first define who you are. A Hunter or a Seeker.
If your interest is just to seduce as many others, then you are just exploring, playing the field and hard to satisfice. They will always want to try more and more… those are Hunters. Full of lust for everyone that could cross their eyes field of vision leaving so many broken hearts in their paths.
Seekers are those that know exactly what they want and what kind of person they want into their lives, and yes, questions like this help a lot to determine this. Rationality will be on top of emotions as they will have to control the animal instinct we all have.
That lust will always diminish with the time and then love will start to develop as the commitment it is, as it is a decision, not an emotion.

My take, my rule of thumb, 20 years younger is my safe zone. Case of two lovers, there is a feel of greed or hunger. There are games that we all play to convince/overcome our needs. There are video's by others of "the Filipina" games. The ex-pat is/will take her out of a negative financial situation, one must do their homework on their pending lover. Dating women 40 years younger, will not make you younger physically, mentally it might or lead you to believe you are😂😂 good luck on that one. Mind over matter, you don't mind, it don't matter.

My late wife and I went on our first cruise in the 1980's. I am a foodie and I love to eat. The first night in the dining room, everything on the menu looked so good, I had difficulty choosing.
The waiter came to the table several times to take my order. After a few times, he suggested I have everything I wanted because I did not need to choose one or the other.
We are sheep conditioned to conforming and thinking we must choose one. I learned how good it was to choose what I wanted instead of only choosing one appetizer, one salad, one vegetable, one entree, and one dessert.
My wife and I were monogamous then but after 27 years of marriage we opened our marriage and found out how great it is to live outside the box of conformity. I will never go back to monogamy.
