U getting carried away, sir.
I am very pleased with your review and I have the same good experience. I live in the Netherlands en ride the 400x for 3 months and 2.200 kms and I ride 46 years motorcycle and this bike is for me the right one.

You guys are always so genuine and fun to watch and always find your videos informative ❤

I have been riding this bike for 5-6 months and I would have liked a bigger tank on this bike and the heat from the radiator hits my legs directly and heats up the tank and I usually have my legs wrapped around the tank pads so I really feel it on my crown jewels😂

@@AdityaDevSultan my eggs are also on the grill when I ride in this summer heat😂..the bike is otherwise excellent.

Wonderful 4000 plus km review bosky and ck. Excellent content.
Beautiful location with a pond trees and occasional birds flying in the background and and two lovely four legged admirers!
Keep it up.
Waiting eagerly for your next video and shorts.
It's relaxing.
Thank you so much 👍
Thanks for the update sir
Always welcome

Hi from London! Good review, thanks for doing it in English.
Thanks for watching!
Baski and ck sir the way you guys are delivering information sounds like a lullaby to me.😂❤
🙏
Thats about what I thought. It's the right size & weight for challenging off road-slow tight-steep and everything else in between. Weight & size are your enemy off road especially on your own & especially in difficult conditions so as soon as I saw it I thought Triumph had nailed it. I have a Meteor 350 I use off road & even with standard tyres it does off road very well but obviously lacks a bit of ground clearance/suspension travel if you were going through some more difficult terrain but obviously you would need a bash plate & 50/50 tyres & take your time. But obviously the Triumph has similar dimension-less weight Meteor 350 190 kg on weigh bridge wet & Triumph 179 kg wet. That's a big weight saving & having sat on one you certainly notice it. The suspension felt very compliant & comfortable. Great review guys.
👍🙏
Lovely video.
I was also thinking of switching to sintered pads on my Scram 400. But I was thinking of doing it only on the front. Have you switched to sintered on front and back both or only front please?
Thank you.
I've switched both.
Good review. I am riding scrambler for last 2 months. I too noticed that my speedometer is stuck at 25kmph.
Get it checked
Amazing video as always! What are your views about the Hero Mavrick 440? I went to the Hero showroom but got a test tide in the backdoor galli only, wasn't allowed to actually test it on proper roads, would love a review till it comes to the showroom near me (I went all the way to another city for that galli test drive 😢)
Yet to see it or ride it.
Which city are you talking about ?
@@rohandante Pune
That's a very nice review, I also am a proud owner of Scrambler 400x, and have exactly the same views as yours, love riding it around the city. Every morning I ride it to commute to my office, it puts a smile on my face. As this is the only bike in my garage, I was thinking of adding extra lights, I am a little confused about the legality in bangalore city.
Glad you enjoyed it! Try Mad Dog lights.
I got myself a speed 400 this sunday, suits me more with what I am doing and what I intend to do, drove 220km so far, loveing it so far, oddly I don't feel heat rven when in traffic (got stuck in bad one at noon with 40 degrees, probably too used to it), I am still playing with her so far so good though, oh and its avg fuel indicator has moved from 23 to 27 in my case, I see it float between 25 to 28 so far......we will see how it goes when I refuel
Thanks for video guys, cheers from here, or maybe we should cheer some water in this heat xd
🙏👍
Don't rely on the console to calculate your mileage. Do a tank-to-tank check.
Yep doing that, so far dte is definitely very optimistic with 150km done and its showing 300 km left range......its optimistic setup xd
Done 6k plus kms on the speed..no issues as such.
Few observations,
1. Fogging of indicators after a wash
2. Engine coolant below min at 6k kms
👍 thanks for sharing.
Hi sir
Loved this video and the insights you shared. 2 questions I am not familiar with riding the big bikes over 100cc so can i jump to this ? At what rpm should i change the gears ?
It's a light and fast motorcycle. Ride it with care and learn and get better and enjoy the ride.
Heat, noise and vibration are part of the deal.
My observation is that the fuel sensor/sensors are tuned for E20 Petrol. once do full tank and check it will work with 90%+ accuracy
👍
I love the high seat height and handlebar - peg ergonomics of the baby Triumph scrambler. Even the bigger 800 scrambler has lower seat height. Only the 1200 XE scrambler has a comparable seat height!
👍
Hi, i remember you speaking about performance air filters and normal air filters, where you said there are not many huge differences between the two, i thought of not changing my bike's air filter after watching it. So I want to know do you suggest me to jump to BMC on my cb350 for better performance?
Marginal performance improvement.
Total bang for the buck. Fully agreed.

When are you guys coming to tour the USA? Many will take you on epic rides across the country. I’m sure they would host you and you’d have a blast. I’m in.
Oh wow! No plans at the moment although would love to. Thanks.
Hi, what grade of fuel are you using in your bike? I've been using normal fuel in mine since the first day and was wondering if higher octane petrol would make any difference since it has a compression ratio of 12:1
It wouldn’t really…it’s in the manual for the bike..91 octane fuel is recommended which is the octane level of regular fuel in India
Normal
Good job guys

Bosky kindly advise. I would like to upgrade to a more powerful BIKE from my present Honda H’ness CB 350 to triumph scrambler 400 X. I liked Honda NX 500 but it doesn’t fit into my budget. Will it be worth shifting from CB350 Honda H’NESS to this Triumph Scramble
Yes it can be a step up information of performance and handling.
Hey Bosky, I own a Speed 400, and the check engine light keeps coming on. When I went to the service center, they just cleared the error logs in the ECU. This is the third time I've faced this issue. Do you have any idea what might be causing it?
Needs inspection as to which sensor keeps throwing up the error.
Speaking about the vibration and heat please compare with KTM, Himalayan, Old Himalayan, etc. So that we can get a clear idea
All have heat, noise and buzz!
The same speed breaker incident happened with me but thankfully in my case the speed breaker was somehow round, so up I went and down I came with the bike and went on ahead like nothing had happened !!!
🙏
Hii Bosky😊 one of our mates commented about the stuck of the economy at 30... I too facing that after an update. I used to fill my tank once the reserve tank or the low fuel indicator turned on, I got 28.9 on city roads but the economy itself shows 30(stuck)😅.
And the next thing I bought is my Scrambler 400x on Jan 12, 2024, recently I observed that something was getting loose and hitting at the left side under the footpeg. I thought it was due to the chain and ran to the service. Then I was shocked😮
The technician thoroughly checked and said that it wasn't happening with the chain. It is addressed that my suspension went down and I need to adjust it. I asked him if a 4-month-old bike drove to 5400 KM's suspension worn out. For 10000 KM's I need to change it then? He said that there might be a mistake with the manufacturer or by my weight as I was weighed. I had my NS 200 BS4 2019. That suspension is super cool and I haven't changed or repaired even didn't adjust it yet!
But for a 400 CC-built bike with international standards along with the fit and finish it isn't digestive.
Just shared FYI.
🙏👍
Yess my scramb is constantly showing 30km/L i have the same issue.
Coming to the aux lights are maddog alpha 40w sufficient or need to go for 80w?
Alpha is sufficient.
Hi, i have changed the engine oil to castrol 10w50 super bike. Man now the bike is smooth, vibe free & Heats less when compared to the Hp prolube. Also the unwanted tappet noise is also not present. The stock oil is of low quality and looses is viscosity fast.
Great 👍
Hi team, i have question. My 2023 Speed 400 has clocked 4k km since December. After riding at 140 km/h, exhaust sound changed. Switched from XP95 to normal petrol, noticed power drop. Serviced bike, adjusted chain, rear wheel, washed, lubed chain. Still missing XP95 sound.
Does exhaust sound change when we use different petrol or this could be a concern ?
Kindly let me know pls
I haven't used any premium petrol to understand if exhaust note changes.
Love from Lahathua, Gaya-Bihar ❤
🙏
Im thinking to buy this bike.
But im nervous and also excited, as this will be my first bike
Congrats!
Go for it.
It lets u to do mistake and rectify. Till now no stalling issue with 1k+ distance covered. Showroom people said everything is updated while delivery. Yes...heat is there... But its manageable with this 400 cc single cylinder machine.
👍
I really love this bike. The only problem I've encountered is that after riding around 1700 km, the chain has become loose for the second time. Other than that, it's perfect and mileage is also given 32
👍
I have about 1000km on mine now, and am also very pleased indeed with it. My only complaints are the truly shocking headlight performance at night, and the over-bright instrument backlight. The headlight I can live with or work around, but I would welcome suggestions for dimming the brightness of the display.
The display lighting softens up once the headlight is on and I find that quite ok.
Request you to review the Maverick 440 ,
Seems like a good blend of performance and economy , with hero's affordable spares and wide-spread service network.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Bosky,
I purchased the Scrambler after your review & test-ride. The bike is built like a tank, but the after sales experience has been TERRIBLE with Keerthi Triumph. Hope this issue gets resolved soon !
Congrats. And I hope so too!
Namaskara, Using my scrambler baby since last 5 months, crossed over 5k kms, its an awesome machine to ride.
But my area of concern is
1. Headlight - It could have been better
2. Seat - Been using stock seat, its not that good, have to try quilted seat and see how that works
Thanks for sharing 👍
Hi Bosky, to open and clean the front sprocket of Speed 400, what tool would I need? A T Spanner? I asked at the service centre but I didn't get a straight answer, they said there's no need to open it and that there is some wiring there, which, if not tucked in properly can come in contact with the chain and cause trouble. But I wish to clean the front sprocket as well when I clean my chain as gunk builds up there. I will of course be careful with the wiring. Any idea on what tool to use to open it so that I can purchase it?
Haven't yet bothered about it. I'll do it once in 10,000 kms. And I have 5,000 kms to go.

Hello, sir. I'm planning to purchase either a Scrambler or a Himalayan. I'm drawn to the aesthetic appeal of the Scrambler. This will be my first bike. Could you advise me on which would be better suited for my needs? I'll primarily be using it for city commuting and highway rides. Additionally, has the engine power loss issue in 2nd and 3rd gear been addressed after the latest update? Are there any specific adjustments or settings I should mention when booking the bike?
Test ride and choose.
Commuting = 400X
Touring = H450
Bosky, any recommendations for the brake levers for the Speed 400? There is just too much empty travel before it starts to bite. Would you recommend getting a RCB master cylinder kit to also help improve the braking?
I haven't noticed this issue and happy with the way it is.
Besides I've switched to GALFER semi-sintwred brake pads from the organic OEM pads.
@@bigbearbangalore Yes Bosky am aware of the shift to Galfer pads. The pads on my Speed 400 come with sintered ones as you know. No complaints about the braking but just that I have to pull the lever in quite a bit before it feels like the brakes are being engaged. That’s all
Ok and sorry I know not of any solution for this.
@@bigbearbangalore That’s okay Bosky. Thank you
Bosky, my Speed 400 shows a constant 28. But I have been getting 22-23 in the city since my first fuel up on the bike in August. Been calculating every time I fill the tank to full. On the highway it's in the 30s
👍
Done 10k kms and no issues so far. Excellent Bike..
👍
Is this suitable for a highway ride of 100kms? Currently I am using thunderbird 350, and I travel to my office once in a week which is 200 kms up and down. I did a test ride of this bike, but it was just for 4 kms.
Yes suitable

Hello sir a fan of your work keep doing it I have a small question as I also own a scrambler 400x I have so much heat like near and close to a grill only on the right rear foot peg of the rider in the inside of the foot where the rear brake is I am just asking is it fine because I am from Chenna and i I know the heat here is a lot and I ride also GT 650 and it didn't seems to bother me that's why I am thinking whether the so much heat only near rear brake lever is a problem or not thank you sir
Thankd.
Don't know why you're feeling like there's excessive heat. Sorry.
So much more relatable than paying 400 rupees to get an opinion on bikes... You know which channel I am talking about.

Why the hate on Motorinc, Sudeep? They have a larger team with higher production value and they want to keep their journalism independent, I respect that. I have likened it to buying a monthly magazine like I used to buy Overdrive when I was a kid. ₹400 per month isn't a stupidly high amount, considering how much movie theatre popcorn or a meal at McD costs these days. Besides, all Indian creators are ours, we should support as much as we can, or at least not hate on them actively. Boksy, CK, Shumi, Kartik, Abhinav, I love them all.
@@ShubhenduLalit It's not hate.. its an opinion... When almost everything is behind a paywall it is a bit over the line.. even team-bhp does not do it....

Good, informative video, guys! :) I asked about the tyres on an Instagram post, and you were kind enough to reply. I should have asked there, but it totally slipped my mind. I wanted to know if the bar-end mirrors of the Speed can be fitted on the Scrambler. This might mean losing the knuckle brace, but is it possible?
Thanks again for the video!
P.s., Cute doggos cameo :)
Thanks. Bar end mirror should fit. Haven't checked though. Note that visibility on standard mirrors is far better and I recommend it over the bar end ones.

Hi Bosky Sir
Im starting off for Zanskar and beyond next week on my Scrambler400x. My old tankbag and saddlebags from my Intercptr are good to go.
One Question Boss.(ky)..
Can the sidestand be fixed by shortening stem base and rewlding the baseplate?
Cos lean angle just not enough..
Hilly terrain sometimes one has to turn bike around 180 deg to park
Thanks Chief!
Good luck. Yes say a 10mm reduction will help with lean angle. And ensure that the welding is good.
@bigbearbangalore Thanks Boss..
Yessir..ensuring weld rod and workmanship as good as OE is what one has to do. Exactly

Purely aesthetic purpose.
Hey Bosky, why don't you not own the ktm 390 adventure (and own the Himalayan and scrambler)? Was wondering because you have been enamored with that bike for a long time.
The H450 edged the 390A with the suspension and better rideability.

Hi Bosky, now that BMC has also launched the air filter for the Triumph 400s, I have a query and hope to gain some insight from you. The DNA air filter is also in the market along with BMC. Looking at their respective details, I noticed that the filtering efficiency of BMC is 97.5% while the DNA’s is 98-99%. Also the BMC can filter upto 7 microns and the DNA upto 5 microns. OEM is 10 microns from what I could gather. Not that these marginal differences matter in the day to day riding of an average motorcycle enthusiast like me, but curious to know. With difference of about ₹1200 with DNA at ₹5499 and BMC at ₹6699, would it be safe to assume that the DNA is the better air filter out of both? Thank you
May be. I haven't used DNA. And I am quite happy with BMC which I've been using for over 7 years on my different motorcycles.
@@bigbearbangalore @bigbearbangalore Yes, I have watched the cleaning video and the video with Mr/ Ravi on BMC filters. Enjoyed them

If I push it, it comes down to 30-33, if I run it below 5000 rpm, it shows 34-36 kmpl. Feeling proud owning it. I have a question for you. As you own Himalayan 450 and Scrambler, it there a possibility to change the front suspensions of scram and replace them with the Showas? What all changes are required if we make a decision to put H450's suspensions in Scram?
Happy to heat.
While anything is possible this swap may be impractical.
@@bigbearbangalore but why Sir? I am ready to dive in the technicalities...

My issue with fuel economy reading is different. It is exaggerating the reading by around 4kmpl. I checked full tank to full tank fuel consumption around 6 times and the actual value is almost always 4 kmpl less than the reading it shows on the dash.
