I watched this video today. I am a phd in chemistry, specialisation in radioactive chemistry, so you can understand how narrow my field is in India. I am in a struggling phase. I cant tell how how much effective this video is. This is perhaps the only video which gives proper picture and clarity. Agree with each and every one. Can't thank you enough Sir!
@@simple_sci Sir i want to get in touch with you i am a mechenical graduate from vit vellore currently working as software engineer i want to pivot to something else i am exploring PHD. Please connect it will be of great help.
Sir can you please share ur experience that how uhh managed to get post doc at tel aviv university... I'm also persuing project in electrochemistry it will be very helpful
It is necessary as the minimum qualification is any of these exams..then only you can give the interview for the PhD position.. Also it's always good if you have your own fellowship... And your other question...as per my opinion, obviously it is better to do PhD even for industry jobs
MSc qualified candidates go for preparation of jobs like Barc, NTPC and others.... Can try for GATE.... But not need to do join in PhD.... If you NET qualified then also don't do PhD... It will take 5-6yrs... And your age will be more than 28... You will not try any exam then... Now the condition in India is very bad.... If you go abroad and you need no job in India then you must do PhD here/ abroad .... Abroad greater priority...

Bro Take PCM in Bsc chemistry, prepare For IIT JAM , get some good IIT/ NIT. Why PCM important, because at time of Counseling u get many criteria of IIT/ NIT , That Should have physics upto 2nd year or maths present in their 12th board.

Hello sir thank you so much for the video, sir I have done Bsc ,Msc -Biotechnology and having DST inspire level 1(provisional offer letter)fellowship I am confised should I do phd or not I want to go in Intellectual property right (IPR) field. I am thinking of preparing for patent agent exam and then take some experience in firm..sir what you suggest I should first do phd then enter IPR or should I directly go for patent agent exam.It would we really nice if u guide me on ths path. Iam really confused
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the specifics of Patent Agent or Officer roles and their requirements. If a PhD is not a minimum requirement for these positions, then it may not necessarily add value to your application.
@@shruti1342hey, I am Microbiology student from Calcutta University. I don't know what is the salary of Patent Agent. But i am sure that if you go abroad for PHD, then your stipent will be high. Avarage you can save 50 thousands INR for 4-5 year. After phd in abroad I think Getting a job won't be much of a problem . What is your opinion in this topic,? reply
Sir ek baat puchni thi..Sir jo Ph.D admission lete hain as project fellow like pehle JRF kisi sponsored project mai phir Ph.D admission lete hai.. unka kya difference rehta hai normal institute fellow se ? Unko bhi coursework karna rehta hai kya ?
Actually academic environment is not fair.appointment system is not transparent. even bright students do not get job.

After phd in chemistry is there any job opportunities?
so what will you suggest if some is interested in academia and research and at the same time needs a decent salary.
