Sethi sir have raised very very good points about lab politics and all...each and every lab has such kind of politics, they pay more attention on lettibg down the other one...and neither guide helps you nor any senior....gyide only wants to get your papers published with the names of his or her favourite researchers (obviously they do buttering in front of guide)....and you do need to have contacts ...without contacts you can't do anything...bcoz your labmates usually don't support.
Due to oiling and buttering policy I left my msc within 1 month. I can't such thing.

I am persuing Master's from University of Delhi. I want to work as professor but from last 2 yr i have not worked in lab so what should i do regarding P.hd as i am lacking the research methodologies.
Focus on net and clear it the practicals you do in your masters lab have nothing to do with research work.
