- Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself this one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" And because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally say goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.

I just love the view… Mountains, the sky, the horizon abounds…. I can’t imagine the night sky. It must be so celestial… ! The stars light up and you feel completely … so completely small… The universe is so large and to be a part of it …is beautiful.❤

It's nice for locals to live so close to nature. Self reliant. No chemicals. No GMOs. Foods are organic. Cattle and poultry are local breeds.
I couldn't agree more. Such a peaceful and beautiful way of living. People are so friendly too.

The cloud sea is stunning gorgeous! What is the altitude of your campsite. It seems the hill is not very high. Cuz there is corn field there
I am not sure what the altitude is. We are quite high up. As we drove on our scooter from the city and it went up and up. High but not too high.
