This is the only recipe that I’ve found that kills spider mites on milkweed. Thank you! I’m going to try it around my hibiscus systemically to see if it works on Gall Midge.
What I like most is the fact that doc messes up. That shows that what we do is OK. I have made this before. It works. What I have done with the leftover stuff is to put it in a 5 gallon water filled covered bucket and let it steep. for months! I keep adding the "stuff" (and anything hot and old garlic). This mixture I spray on my grass and the field behind the house. It drives the mosquitoes away. What I have noticed is that after about three weeks of steeping, there is almost no odor. But it is still effective
I once made a concentrate by dissolving dried cayenne powder in alcohol, filtering and then evaporating the alcohol. I swear the stuff was more potent then pepper spray but it worked like a charm! Gonna try the garlic too, I've heard good things about it, thanks for the video!
+Monique Cummings Mosquito control seems to work best when you vary the monthly repellent spray monthly - ie. garlic one month, plant oils the next, cedar oil, etc. www.dirtdoctor.com/garden/Mosquito-Control-Program-Newsletter-2013_vq3994.htm
+mcleod55 It might have some affect, but hand picking and trichogramma wasps will be the most effective. www.dirtdoctor.com/garden/Tomato-Hornworm_vq1081.htm

Dirt Doctor Thank you!
Would you recommend just keeping the final product in the garage/storage shed, or should it be kept refrigerated?
Keep in a cool place, but does not have to be in the refrigerator.
Will this repel spiders?
