Rudolf Steiner and his biodynamic method is to mix by hand for 1 x hour. I’m too time starved for this so I use my mortar mixing paddle in a 20litre bucket on my drill. Works a treat.
When we foliar fed the olive orchards with EM probiotics (similar to compost tea), we sprayed on the underside of the leaves for better absorption, and also early in the morning. The result was significantly higher polyphenol levels.
I've seen many skeptics on compost tea but after trying it myself i know it definately works! I used it on a Spathiphyllum house plant and the results are incredible, new flowers popping up everywhere! I was also very surprised after measuring the EC, I had to dilute my tea because the ec was over 4!
i use both. i also add a bit of epsom salt fir magnisium. makes your flowers super bright, great for roses. i dilute 10:1 Or put in a lawn sprayer. you can do it weekly if you dilute. don't put it on succulents, it will kill them. also i put my compost and earthworm castings in a nylon. so i don't have to filter. at my mom's i don't have a pump. so i just sir in air every time i pass it. Doing other things in the yard. i use it from 3 to 48 hours. After that is no good.
Thank you for responding It's very refreshing. I realize that they must be beneficial, but you stressed "bacteria" for grass, and "fungus" for trees and woody shrubs, opposite ends of the fertilizer spectrum, so's to speak. I can't decide if vegetables are more on the woody side or more on the grassy side. The basic reason I ask is because I cannot find sea weed anywhere in my area and I will have to order it off the internet. I have compost, apple cider vinegar, molasses, fish fertilizer, I have rocky Missouri red clay soil over the caves and caverns in the central portion of the state, even the hardwood forest floor is thin because it's used so quickly, (my opinion), very little organic matter in the dirt around here.
lil evelyn- get in your vehicle, drive to a park or a ravine area, wooded area - walk to the bottom of the ravine or ditch, and scoop out a few shovels of dirt, rocks, silt, leaves sticks whatever has collected from the rain-runoff- into a 5 gal bucket - this will probably contain worms- a bonus! I grew up in Central Ark adjacent to the Ozarks! Don't over think this! Grass is grass- relax plant a few toms and peppers- grass is over rated and a scam- put your energy into growing food and skip the grass- what is the point! Xeriscape your yard with flowers! good luck- don't be lazy- everything you need is on YT- do some homework! Add some scraps of apples or bananas- for the sugar- molasses (do you know how they refine ) it is a catch all word! More shit for you to buy!

Incredibly helpful. Thank you!
Use this for both my veggies and cannabis and the results are impressive.
Glad to have found your videos...
How often would you use the tea in the vegetable garden? And would you alternate molasses and proteins?
