Me and by best friend Joe were working on his Ford Bronco late one night, having a good time, this song came on as we were working and we just started singing and comparing the pain to working on his Ford. Joe passed away suddenly this last February 28, 2023, I can't get over it and this song now makes me happy for the memories it brings back.

This is the most beautiful song ever. Our youngest son was fighting 2 types of cancer every time I turned the radio on it seemed to be played. It gave me the strength to carry our amazing son to battle through his illness.He's still with us 11 years on xxx

Five months before my sister was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, I rediscovered this song and texted this to her. She knew very little about REM. She didn't say much, but I could tell this touched her. She knew she was very ill but didn't know what was wrong until she was diagnosed. Nine days later (June 11, 2021), she was gone.

She has let us down every multiple time all family members tried to help her get it together. My husband and I live our lives every day knowing it's just a matter of time till we receive a phone call that she's overdosed and this time she's not coming back. I'm so sorry. You're are not alone.
