This song happened to play on my playlist as I was walking through the garden of the house I’ve lived in for 20 years as a child, right before we had to move out. I just took a moment to sit on the grass, feel the sun, listen to the lyrics and look at the house as I visited for the last time. Ever since, this song has a special place in my heart.

Nothing hurts more than growing up and having to say goodbye to the house where you've spent your entire childhood. After a month or two of my grandfather passing away my uncle sold his house and and took the money. My grandpa's house was where I had lived as a toddler and my cousins were also kids and babies who would play there all the time. Even after we left we would go there occasionally when we had family reunion with all my cousins. We had that house for more than 12 years and it was furnished according to my grandpa. He built everything inside it. Sadly he didn't get the chance to see his home for the last time before passing away. Sorry for the long para I just wanted to say it. I miss you Nana and I love you a lot! ❤

Thank you for this song. I came from an abusive family, by my Dad. My Mother was dying in ICU when this song was popular and came on the radio. I had always hoped I would have the time to get to know her. I always planned in my heart that my Dad would be the one to die first, but it wasn't happening and I just wished we could run away somewhere and get the chance to know each other before she died. Comfort of life, having your parents alive to rely on seems like such a simple thing, but when it's gone a part if you dies too. Be sure to use the time you have left to tell those you love how you feel about them.
