Have you ever considered revisiting Virtual World? There's a newer build that involves pitching a spell canceller to grave and reviving it on the opponents turn, which apparently goes well into Runick. I've been trying to learnt eh combo paths, but would like to see you try it as you explain combo paths really well!
I finally finished crafting this whole deck! PK has been my favorite deck since I started playing MD. I’m stoked this version can keep up in the current meta. Thanks for the great video
I’ve found crossout nib kinda bad. Either you resolve gryphon or you play around it with apo. Illegal knight is ass. Cut a fog blade and add either danger package or psychic package otherwise you’re praying to open boots to not end on an awful board
I've been watching this video for the nth time, It's so strong yet complicated, I can't understand what's happening sometimes and just ask myself "Why I can't activate that card?", "why I can't special summon gryphon?" I literally enjoy this card and will stick to this and will learn combos by watching this over and over again.
I just started yu gi oh I saw sykkuno playing and got interested in trying it. Plus I watched the anime but I never took the time to learn the card game. But I built my deck and chose swordsoul tenyi bc I like the card art and the theme of swordsoul. And I was scared it was gonna be difficult to learn but just after watching pak play I learned so many combos and some outs
One thing I don’t know is when I should make Barrone or if I should make chenying. Usually if I go first I do barrone especially if no ash in hand. But if I go second and have pot of desires and ash I always make chengying
I think Baronne is the right play on turn 1 pretty much every time. Being able to negate any card is strong against every match up. I do agree that Chengying tends to be a bit better going second, but sometimes Baronne's negation plus destruction is good going second too. It really depends on the match up, which is something you learn over time. it sounds like you've already got a good grasp on how the deck is played, keep playing with it and I'm sure you'll see improvement over time! Keep it up! :)
Do you think you will try out mathmech now that the new card is out? It's great cos don't think other players know what cards to stop. I'm so glad it came out before Tear cos Superfactorial becomes very risky when that comes out.
I know it's because the rest of the P.U.N.K. cards aren't out yet, but Scythe Lock has been seen surprisingly little this format. And with how little it does to Runick and Labrynth that's not all that surprising. Called by at more than 1 doesn't help it out either. My gripe with Nibiru is that the decks it's supposed to be effective against all run ways to counteract it nowadays, the strongest deck you can use it "well" against is Swordsoul, and they can just use the token to set up their Tenyi stuff if they can't get into Barrone early. As it stands it's about as strong as a Dark Hole or Torrential Tribute right now, and those things don't brick your hand. Even HERO has DPE which is usually made with Destiny HEROs, most of which have graveyard effects that you can and should save for after the rock comes down most of the time, so that you can pivot into a 3400 Plasma via a Cross Crusader line and Rock Succ.
it might be good to add predplant scorpio and cobra, scorpio just got lifted from limited to semi-limited and with them you can search your one copy of destiny fusion as well as setting your field with two level three monsters. The down side is you''d have to add another garnet to the deck since cobra by it self doesn't do anything.
@@Schneemaa yes, would have to use your normal summon on scorpio, but by his effect you can summon cobra which searches destiny fusion and you put two level three on board that you can use for cherubini combo or something else.
The season 12 profile is what got me back into YGO:MD, and then I saw the Illegal Knight list, and have been playing pretty consistently since. I find myself not really ever using Crossout Designator, so I cut it in favor of the more classic PK set up, and added Stained Greaves back into the list. I find that it can really help out with extending in a tight spot. I also cut one Fog Blade and added the PK Sword, which can fix some math in certain instances where the opponent doesn't have multiple high attack cards to feed into Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon. I love this deck because it just has so many options available to it. I just wish it was this good in TCG, even with DPE being kind of defunct
One of the most synergistic decks with droplet makes going second pretty nice on top of the scythe play going first and most decks can’t survive the next turn after you scythe lock them as well
I think aside from the Scythe Lock (which is powerful in its own right), the main appeal for this deck for me is the follow-up. This deck is very much a "graveyard acts as a second hand" type of decks, so when you use your various PK and HERO monsters to combo, you also naturally set yourself up for a very solid follow-up turn. As I touched on in this video, Denier + Malicious in GY is enough to go into Accesscode by themselves if your opponent has a monster to bring back with Dharc.
It was a pleasure RHONGOED you whit my Pk fire. Thanks tho wait my combos,I learned here the combos. FANTSTIC your scoop. Thanks man,I love you
I remember the night you went on a 18 win streak on stream with the phantom knights lol that was a good stream

Depending on if I have to craft anything for the next event, I might drop 90 URCP to finally finish this. I love how the deck looks.

Phantom knights best deck

Thoughts on putting chaos Hunter vs runic?

@@gasa6406 of if nothing else just Scythe lock
@@Schneemaa yeah that be an easy way to make dpe and scythe lock your opponnent.
What do you think about running the downerd magician/zeus package over the raiders into arc rebellion?
Arc rebellion is better against bad players. Downerd Zeus is better against good players
I make room for both of those, just to have options
play sky striker pls it just got new support and therion
Oh don't worry, we'll cover Sky Striker very soon, because I LOVE the new support!

It’s good but it bricks like all hell
