28:00 Something cool you can do in this scenario is wait for the Main phase, activate maxx c and if they have Called by you chain Elf and summon the maxx c to dodge the negate :)
After testing, I’m nearly convinced that runic spright strengths were best utilized in best of 3 format. It is not as strong as pure going second - if you don’t draw lava golem. The battle phase is too important for removal, and you need it if you don’t draw lava golem/sphere mode, or droplet with the perfect cards to discard
My main concern with the "pure" Spright list is that its main defense against backrow is Carrot, which doesn't feel like enough. Yeah there's corner cases where they can go into stuff like Barrone, but spammy board wipes could be a potential concern. That said, throwing out random hand traps won't give you easy wins against this deck, and it has more than enough ways to deal with monster effects between Red, Apollousa, Djinn Buster (and Gamma in builds that run Lambda), and Smashers is an obnoxious interruption piece despite its cost. The Tri-Brigade build is neat because Tri-Brigade monsters have tons of floating effects to ensure you'll have options even when stuck dealing with board wipes. The Runick variant provides some supplemental control tools to help exhaust your opponent's resources so you can force them to end on a near empty board for long enough to push for game. And the Live Twin variant gives that deck something concrete to run in the main deck besides a bunch of hand traps and extenders.
Tip: Gigantic spright can protect you from nibiru when you use it's effect. "...neither player can special summon monsters except level/rank/link 2." So running nibiru with crossout is pretty much unneeded in sprights. Hope this helps!
I'd love to see a video that ranks the various Spright builds and provides some pros/cons to each of the variant options. Especially a detailed pros and cons of pure vs runick. I can build either, but I loathe runick so I'm less inclined to run that variant unless it has a decisive advantage.

I've seen a few people playing sprite live twin. And yeah they have A LOT of Handtraps! And this is coming from someone playing MathMech! How they are able to open both a live twin and sprite I'll never know 😄 🤣
I would definately remove djinn buster for a copy of Avramax. It works really great with i.p masq and protects your other spright monsters on the field.
since you put a lot of body. And you also play gamma. Better to run lambda instead of djinn buster. Djinn buster is better for runick variant. The card is insane. Masquerina for me is kinda meh unless I open capshell. Also just noticed that swap frog bounce is a cost. So you can still bounce it even under imperm. And then ns again since you havent ns.

What combo line almiraj open?
Swap Frog as your solo starter. Summon Swap, dump Ronin, link Almiraj, summon Roning, Link Elf, bring Ronin back, XYZ Gigantic, and you're unbricked.

I feel like everyone is just gonna run spright runick, I want to play spright pure or tri brigade
I don't think gamma is a good option to draw off of maxx c since Gigantic locks you from special summoning anything but level 2 monsters.
Imagine elf in adamancipator lol bringing back your lvl 2 tuners
You get locked into level/rank/link 2s though, which is really bad for adams
Last game normaling pixies and specialing carrot and red would have been much better to play through interrupts
