      There was never India but from 1947 as Union of India. Before that all individual princely states and Rajas. There was never pluralism in these princely and Raja states. If there was pluralism why domicile rule in now Union of India ? Why rations in different forms ? Coming to religion. Why Indians have 330 crores gods and beliefs and faiths ? This is pluralism in religion ? Religion, Territory, Language are created by ONE TRUE GOD. You and me are created by ONE TRUE GOD. Religion is said in English and Dharma is called in hindi and so on in the world. In India There is prohibition to enter in some Hindu temples in kndia. Plus ladies are separated from menstrual occurrences. Why ? Look at Christianity religion of God Jesus Christ thru His Father Almighty God. Do Christians ✝️ have all these differenc. Coming to Government, Creation Hindu Rashtra is breaking India. There is no inclusiveness pluralism togetherness but just words especially from Modi and RSS. India has to have a government of the people for the people and by the people. Shashi and Sibal spoke only of Hindus. Where are Muslims ☪️ Christians ✝️ Dalits Atheist ⚛️ Monoiest and all others ?

    The way they contextualized the history of the nation, pluralism that was understood by rishi's and being made a joke of with the definition of religion being portrayed in the name of vote bank politics.
    It is a sad reality of our nation and like mentioned here, it can lead to huge issues in the coming future for the nation.
    The ruling party of the time, clearly doesn't care about the constitution.
    If being given a chance for the third term, the next thing that will be in danger will be the constitution of this nation that gives the judiciary independence from the executive branch.

    Happy Birthday to Dr.Shashi Tharoor and Pray God Almighty bless you abundantly. Thanks to the Wire and Kapil Sibal for this presentation. As Kapil rightly says Religion is a very personal issue because we are unable to comprehend the full meaning of real spiruality. Only recently we see how these political parties are using religion as a way to sway and misguide the people. The ignorant and backward people are easily moved and get emotional. What is so beautiful in our Army Services is that there is no place for Religion or the Army does not encourage any religion, since equality is sublime. There is a good reason why the Great Mahatma Gandhi Said that "" God has no religion"" All Men are equal in the eyes of God. It is our dirty politicans who want to use Religion to further their own interests. Jai Hind !

Also, I wish if they consider topics about reforms in state and central opposition political structure. I have seen in UK parliament having opposition govt with shadow ministers. each shadow minister will observe the policies brought by their counter part ministers and enlighten people explaining drawbacks and also proposes alternate policies. so more leaders will be involved in opposition and people will get to learn what exactly happening with the govt and country.

    Why secular congress supported Khilafat movement?
    Why secular congress divided country and created Islamic Pakistan but not Hindu rastra?
    Why muslim majority state Kashmir have special status?
    Why reverse shahbano judgement by congress? Why special privileges to minorities in educational institutions scholarship, Hajj subsidy, wafq board grant, imam salary, personal law and many more based on religion? Are Hindus getting any such privileges as a minority in any country across the world? Why big temples under government control?

      Congress didn't create Pakistan, Brits did, approved by Congress and Muslim League. Congress is hardly a Muslim supporting party, and proof for it is there in the Sachar report. It was Congress that refused to share seats with Muslims that made people like jinnah demand Pakistan. All the cow slaughter ban in India was started by Congress.

    • @LITTLE-ROCK
      @LITTLE-ROCK 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      A lot of the examples in your silly post above are just weak. For eg: there is no hajj subsidy today, so what r u on about? The subsidy came into being when travel by sea was stopped, to help the poor who couldn't afford air travel. Congress didn't create Pakistan, Brits did, and was agreed by Congress and Muslim League. Personal law is not just for Muslims, but is given to Hindus as well. The special provisions for Kashmir was due to the instrument of accession signed by the Hindu king Hari Singh

      Hindusim is an amalgamation of various philosophies, it is not a monolith and is amorphous to the extent that it assumes the nature of being tolerant if and when it is scrutinized ... but basically the religion as such is based on class division and the perpetuation of that division ... It's because of India's constitution that hindusim has not been able to become intolerant but that's changing as more and more people seem more interested in calling themselves as Hindus that living as Hindus ....
