Hello, and thank you for posting your comments I do appreciate it. I am glad that the video helped you. Keep up the good work and God bless you! Have a great day.
That last part, about putting the vehicle weight on the suspension before tightening the front frame connection, is very true, and I'm glad I watched this and was reminded of it. Thanks
My man you make me proud. I would like to tell you what I’m thinking ; You my man well spoken and made it Look Easy. So ❤ for me You Are A Smooth Operator. God Bless You And Your Family. Stay safe. You were Excellent. 😉👍👀
If you wait to tighten the front control arm bolt until after the tire is on and the weight of the vehicle is on the arm, how do you reach the bolt to tighten it? The body of the van is low to the ground.
You can either use a jack to raise the knuckle up to ride height (essentially the control arm will be parallel to the horizontal plane), or you can put the tire on, lower the vehicle right down and then go under the vehicle to tighten and torque the bolts. I'd suggest doing both control arm bolts when the arm is a ride height. If you only have one jack, put the vehicle on a stand to free up the jack. If you have more than the spare tire jack for the vehicle, you could use the spare tire jack to lift the knuckle.
Did it yesterday in about 2.5 hours, mostly because I worked very slowly and had difficulty getting a socket around the horizontal 19mm bolt. Finally found a standard 19mm instead of the deep socket. Thank you!
Just realized, I forgot to remove the tie rod, which prevented easy access to the horizontal 19mm bolt. That would have saved me at least 30-60 minutes.
This is by far the best detail video I found for 2007 Odyssey lower control arm replacement. Thank you.
Helpful important little details you've included here especially about tightening the front part of control arm after lowering the vehicle.

Very good video. I followed along and the replacement went smoothly. Thanks!
Good explanation and you made it look pretty simple. I guess it helps when you know what you're doing.
Thanks 👍

Thank you man. Mine are in bad shape and your video gives me some confidence to try!
You are welcome. You can do it! Keep me posted. Have a great day and God bless you 🙏
@@gqautodiagnostics do you think I need an impact wrench or can I do it with wrenches and a socket set?
About to do this on my 07, great video to watch before tackling it.
Good luck!
I thought I had a bad shock mount, but from this video I learned I had a bad sway bar connecting rod, I replaced it and my van is much quieter.
Recommended to replace inner and outer tie rods as well?
Nice job, You are very professional
Thank you very much!
thank you for making a video to help but how do you get the weight of the vehicle on there to torque at the end. where are the specs at?

The only problem was I didn't see what you was doing behind the wheel assembly, otherwise it was a great video 👍 thanks.
Sorry about that
Other than that I found this video very well explanatory
Thank you for the comment. Have a great day. God bless you.
