I went case less + a screen protector with my 15 Pro Max and don’t plan on going back. Just got a 16 Pro Max. Going case less + a screen protector. I’m finding that it’s a lot grippier than the previous iterations 💁🏾♂️
Rocking my 15PM without a case with a screen protector. I just love the way the phone feels. Plus without a case the lighter titanium finish can be felt. I put on a thin Latercase when I know I will be consuming alcohol or taking a lot of pictures outdoors. So MOST times no case. This is the 2nd phone I’ve done this with. The 1st time was with my 13 Pro. It just felt like such a tank I wasn’t worried. Traded that phone in with no dents or scratches on it. Careless is the way to go if you don’t drop your phone.
It depends on what kind of work you do. If you work construction I would definitely not suggest going case less. If you work in an office setting or indoors it’s fine.
I am upgrading from iPhone 8 to 16 Pro. Reason why I chose 16 Pro was screen size and it having all the features of the Max minus battery life. My first iPhone 4 lasted me seven years before I upgraded to iPhone 8 and now seven years later upgrade to the 16 Pro. It will be a noticable change for me.
I love cases, the different feels and textures… but going caseless is also a great feeling!! When I want that caseless feel I just put on that Arc Pulse and I can use it and be a little more relaxed and safe about it… But usually, can’t get enough of those Caudabe cases, absolutely love them!! The Grip is my #3 case, btw. Great video Nick, love your content!
I used a case with no screen protector on my 13 pro max for 3 years. Aside from very minor surface scratches on the screen I never had a problem. I'm planning on going caseless with no screen protector with the 16.
I read an article that suggested you really don't need a screen protector for iphone 15 pro max. As I now prepare to sell my 15pm I notice I have scratches on my screen😡 Better to spend the money on protection.
oh yeah as i touched on in the video i would NEVER use my phone without a screen protector. while the ceramic shield on these phones is great for impact and crack resistance, it really doesn’t do much to protect against scratching
Once I got a phone that was the ‘box shape’ instead of the curved ‘pill’ shape I stopped using a case. (My iPhone 13). I still have a screen protector but that’s it. The phone feels SO slick and nice in my hands. Plus I got the phone because I liked the color too. Why cover that up? Yes I have to be more careful, but ‘raw doggin’ my phone just feels so sleek and amazing. But be warned, Once you do it you can never go back!
I wanted to go caseless because I realized I never get to see my beautiful phone, so for the pro 16 max I got in titanuum white, I went with the bare minimum protection of a screen protector + a Moft clear case which only covers the back and corners. The sides are completely open and this is a great middle ground for me :)
I use a screen protector and go caseless around 1-2x a week. My 15 pro looks new. It’s best to run some type of case. I’m upgrading to the 16 pro max. I want that screen & battery life. White or Desert
Used my 15 pm caseless and no screen protector all year since launch and never cracked the screen even tough I accidentally dropped it twice on concrete and what’s insane is it held up, there are slight microscopic scratches on my screen but is visible when screen is off , planning to do the same on my 16 PM, these screens are super strong and sometimes what will scratch our phone without screen protector are not keys, coins by accident in our pocket with a the phone but grits, a piece of sand or salt we will never see , I always put my caseless phone on my pocket with no keys , coins but we can’t control sands or others particles in our pockets even if it’s too clean
Keen to see how cases pull off the new touch sensitive camera button on the 16 and what you make of the altered look - have already seen a lot of cases where, due to having to have a cutout, the phone looks pretty ugly with a case on this year adding to the 16 being a skip year. Apple have had time to produce a button cover that works with it so it feels a bit like they introduced the button just to boost case sales...
I’m ordering the iPhone 16 pro max in natural titanium and am contemplating going without a and screen protector. Now l do put my phone in a neoprene pouch and then into a fanny pack when it’s with me. I’m also a photographer and have very high quality lens cleaner and a micro fiber cloth. I also noticed that the titanium rails, being a natural metal, are more grippy than the stainless steal on the regular iPhone 16, so there’s that -
much of your luck is that actually the natural titanium hides blemishes and stuff...you were lucky with that. i wish i could have the guts to go caseless...im a minimalist but been so unlucky caseless that i will never go cases less again. i sometimes take the case off when in bed, and thats the only time i could do that!
I would go caseless with my 13 mini if the edges were just a bit grippier…I never drop my phone but of course without a case I’d probably drop it all the time
For the Natural and White Titanium I can see caseless being an option. For the black and blue titanium I would never. I am not upgrading to the 16 and I am going to continue wearing a case on my black 15 Pro, despite how good looking it is without one.
Buy a $1000 or more iPhone and don’t immediately put it in a good protective case? Something only extremely stupid people do. Drop that phone once and see how long it takes you to stop cursing.
I agree with the comments I used my baked all year the 15 pro blue but dropped a couple times the titanium and old stainless steel bands are very durable yes they scuff on concrete BUT it’s not a big deal never cracked the screen or back at all
that's the point, it's a $1000 phone, so yeah, not just the design-the build is solid too. These expensive phones are made to handle a bit of rough treatment, which is why some of people feel confident going without a case.
I went caseless / no screen protector with iphone 16 pro max. Apple care $10 a month, i'm not looking at my phone through cheap plastic.
shouldn't you still pay service charges incase of using apple care
used my 15 pro caseless all year and I will never go back
What drove you to make the decision?

Arc pulse all day. The perfect middle ground. I’d argue that it’s actually more protective than most thin cases

Did u have insurance on it or raw dog?
@@WorldwideScents No, but had to replace glass & battery one time.
@@mikeylikethailand ok bet. Caise mines expire in march for my 14 i wont renew

I go caseless and without any screen protector❤
If you got apple care it’s only $29 to fix your screen so I always go caseless
I used a case with no screen protector on my 13 pro max for 3 years. Aside from very minor surface scratches on the screen I never had a problem. I'm planning on going caseless with no screen protector with the 16.

Industrial Design’ at its best’
One can’t enjoy the true touch with Screen Protectors!

To me I always used a case one mate black case for 2 years for my s23 ultra going to have a bookcases for my s25 ultra !
I use cases and screen protection simply to maintain condition for resale. I prefer a naked phone to be honest.
Going caseless but put on a MagSafe pop socket &/or Torras ring stand for grip
now this, this is taste
I got the 16 pro max plus the apple care so I’m going caseless lol

Can't wait for you to get the 16
Got a casetify 16 pro max ad just before this video lmao

Blue titanium here with a screen protector no case💪🏾
Always use a case and screen protector I am keeping my iPhone 15 pro max for another year
I dont want any scratches on my ultramarine iphone 16 so i just use a case. Problem solved
Buy a $1000 or more iPhone and don’t immediately put it in a good protective case? Something only extremely stupid people do. Drop that phone once and see how long it takes you to stop cursing.
Apple care
Dropped my 15 pro max plenty over a year and only had 3-4 dings. Just traded in for the 16 pro max and will be doing the same.
I agree with the comments I used my baked all year the 15 pro blue but dropped a couple times the titanium and old stainless steel bands are very durable yes they scuff on concrete BUT it’s not a big deal never cracked the screen or back at all
just get apple care and stop worrying?
