    10 minutes job maybe 30 dls part done !!!but in the Honda dealer charge for all 189.00 dls and maybe 1 hour job…could you imagine how many people you’ll save money brother? Good job brother good lesson and good teacher 👨‍🏫 !!!99!!!

    I had the same problem with losing/burning oil. I changed the PVC valve and it seems to have worked. Oil still same level after 1200 kms. :)

    Be careful when doing this. Make sure the engine is cold. I stripped the threaded insert the valve bolts into because the plastic was warm. Be careful and torque correctly and use anti seize.

      @42436freak Same thing happened with my car. Any suggestion how to get the bolt out? It spins but doesn’t come out.

    I recently got my valve cover gasket and PCV valve replaced on my 2013 Honda Accord after hitting 55,000 miles. Thank you for your recommendation it’s because of you I got that stuff replaced.

      Nice work! Yup they leake about 50k miles do the pcv valve every 30k miles

      @@Abrar-uh4ts there’s a couple other things I got done to my car maintenance wise but I think it was around $45-$55 parts and labor for the PCV valve and changing out the gasket.

    Does it have to be a honda genuine pcv valve or could i get it off a part store?

      I would go with honda Genuine part if ur trying to fight the warrnty other wise I can get it anywhere

    how do you know that you need to change it? I have mysterious misfire at 4k rpm on my 2014 accord. I changed spark plugs, o2 sensors, evap vent valve, cleaned catalytic converter, and still problem persisting.

      This pcv valve dosent have symptoms or reason to change it u should replace it every 30k other wise it can cause oil consumption vaccum leak but that would be hard to find

    If my 15 accord sport 2.4L still burn through oil after pcv valve replacement would you say its the valve cover gasket

      No it then is ur engine valve seals or piston oil rings

    Will changing pcv valve and oxygen sensor help with gas mileage on an older/high mileage Honda?

      I doubt that look in to fuel controlled sensors such as map or maf sensors and air to fuel oxygen sensor

    V567 is for an i4 not a V6. V384 is for the V6…

    Why does the pcv valve have to be changed?

      It’s a part that goes bad or get blocked over time and u will not have any codes or way to diagnose it so best to replace it every 30k miles

      This one goes through the valve cover and exits out to the back of the valve cover on right side back of the cover

    My 2016 Honda sport 2.4 has a PO507 code you think this could be the cause the car has 133k I cleaned it but the code popped up again, also when on parked it my rpms go up to under 2k rpms

      I have clean throttle body, I have clean the pcv valve and I have also changed the cover valve gasket

      Try cleaning your MAF sensor . Also clean your fuel injectors with fuel additives .

    My wife’s 2016 Honda Accord likely needs this fix. Oil level has dropped significantly since last change and doesn’t seem to be leaking. Car has less than 40k miles. This would be a nice easy fix.

      Ok yeah try the pcv valve and switch to gtx oil and keep an eye on the oil hopefully this makes difference gtx oil dose clean up build ups on piston rings and fixes this issue if u get kick worth the try. I’m north nj Bayonne area if ur local we can start doing this service

      It vents the crank case so any blow by fees and pressure of engine it sucks it and burns it back in engine but it can also suck oil and if it get stuck it can creat contance Ducati on of air which will be like vacuum leak

      Prolly not but oil dose cool the engine by picking up a bit of internal heat if it goes low it can make a bit offset

      @@Chuck-tq3kq ohhh nope just replace it this valve is like regular Maintance I would say every 30k miles replace it. There’s no codes for this valve it can create pressure blockage or vaccum leaks and u will never know this is the cause so just replace it on time

      DI3 HAAD yeah it can but most likely it’s not we did this because dealer gave us run around it can cause oil burning but not lotttt like we burning all the oil in 2k miles
