I like to point out to people who mald about MHA ending that they got off easy. At least that one didn't retroactively ruin the entire series and the setting itself.

it finally clicked for me, why erwin should stay alive and armin should be sacrificed. 3 reasons: 1. it would be greater emotional impact, as we would loose armin 2. erwin could make story much more interesting than armin in the 4 season 3. mikasa and eren could get closer because they would be only ones left (no armin), and their love story would have more time to naturally progress
Erwin would have also fit better with all the themes of S4P1, as it was all about politics. Instead of Willy Tybur just dying, we could have had Erwin and Tybur playing 4d chess, and instead of genocide, Erwin could have helped Eren cook up something much more practical and ethical. Erwin wouldn't support genocide, yes, but he wouldn't support the Alliance's plan to leave paradis to chance.

Why did zeke want to use the founder’s power to euthanise eldians? Why not use the power to prevent eldians from becoming titans? If he can stop them from reproducing, surely he could stop them from becoming titans ever….
We can all come to the conclusion that the 50-year plan would have been the best, but the problem with the 50-year plan is that it was only a lie by Jiku (Zeke) with the sole purpose of deceiving the entire population of The Island to implement his sterilization plan. The problem with Jiku's (Zeke) plan isn't that he killed people to achieve his plan, it's that he literally lied to the entire Paradis Island making them think that there was going to be a peaceful plan to solve the cycle of hatred. What he sought was to discriminate against his own people by taking away their freedom to reproduce, without any of the Paradis islanders having any kind of decision in this regard. None of the Paradis islanders can decide if they want to be forcibly sterilized, that's the problem with Jiku's (Zeke) plan, that no one asked him if they would allow him to take away their ability to reproduce. That monkey never sought an understanding between the Island and the rest of the world, he only sought to reduce discrimination by extinguishing the people of Isla in the long term, without realizing that he was discriminating against his own people in the process by wishing for their extinction. He was applying the same thing that his upbringing from Mare (Marley) told him, that the world would be better off if the Eldians became extinct, but this time he would be the one to bring about that extinction instead of Mare, and it would be a calm and long-term extinction instead of a quick and short-term one. Jiku (Zeke)'s thought: No cooperation, no understanding, no comprehension between Mare (Marley) and Erudia (Eldia) is now possible, we will never be able to understand each other because the Eldians must become extinct for there to be true peace in the world, but I will make it happen in a calm and long-term way, even if that means imposing a policy on them that they don't want, and that takes away their FREEDOM (a very important point and word in Shingeki no Kyojin) to reproduce, that doesn't matter to me, the Eldians are going to become extinct anyway, it's best that it happens in a calm and long-term way, instead of a quick and painful one. Can we agree that this is Jiku's (Zeke) true way of thinking?

I think that build itself was only good till s3 even though it has flaws you can shut your mind and can see peaks of aot but from s3 basement reveal it was going disappointing way. Not disappointed abt humans being outside walls but abt grisha going to Paradise seemed so near impossible cause even trained soldier like reiner hesitated to go through whole bunch of pure titans while grisha reached that in his first time titan transformation with no good knowledge,experience of titan power, combat experience and combat skills and we get as came where we see the holder of founder said to be inexperienced when grisha himself is even more inexperienced + him reaching paradise itself is near impossible in his condition. Like this type of things bothered me a lot and s4 was fcking bullsh!t honestly the characters especially eren had a sudden change of character with no good reason. And this thing just made aot more like cartoonish in a sense of portraying hate,morally grey stuff and other concepts. In the end it was for nothing more than useless sh!t.

However, after the panel with Bertholdt and Dina was shown (reiner's bg), the story started to go to shit Frieda, not erasing or manipulating grisha's memories or not fighting him, is nonsensical but could have easily been explained by the pacifism ideology she inherited from carl. At least it would have been better than "she didn't have enough experience." Grisha, somehow making it to the walls is also a plothole but subjectively not that big deal in comparison to eren's ability to manipulate the past events. It's the same as the warriors not catching ymir or Marcel not turning into a titan to defend himself from her Tbh, if I rewrote aot, I'd take away eren's ability to control birds, influence the past and see everything happen. It makes him too powerful and adds lots of inconsistencies
@@vaidikchauhan4382 I feel like aot needs a full rewrite, especially, mikasa. She's the only reason I would remake the story from the very beginning, not from ch 105. Also, I'd flash her, Sasha, jean, Connie, hange (give her a backstory) out, add more new characters post-timeskip (that is of course extended and has more than 50 chapters) and give them some time to shine + the more members in the alliance the better. I'd execute the alliance more properly, give them a mind-blowing plan to win against the mc and It'd be cooler if they had some options to offer instead of genocide but eren just didn't like them as found them still useless. I'd make armin and hange try to do something after eren and historia ruined the 50-year plan, for example try to kidnap the rest of the shifters from marley and inherit their titans / attempt to negotiate with mid-east allied forces and offer some help in the war agains marley, their common enemy / find some other countries willing to support them. I'd write sasha/niccolo relationship and falco better, give the boy a valid reason for wanting to protect Gabi so bad. I wouldn't make annie forget about her remorse in lost girls (she wouldn't kill the scouts just for killing, rather for self-defense, no yo-yo moment and no sadistic smiles; she would leave those, who couldn't fight her, alone). It would be amazing if she abandoned the goal of seeing her father again and started caring about others. Also, no rom relationship with armin. Both need no love interest. I'd introduce 2 or 3 20-year-old characters from marley who wanted to avenge their eldian friend (killed by marleyans when they were children), served yelena, were Levi's squad's friends and became a part of the alliance too (they trained for 3 years to use odm gear). It'd be great for paradis to have some other allies except for azumabito and this would make eren's decision to rumble the world less acceptable and more complex as there were people who truly wanted to cooperate and live in peace with the island. I'd make jean a yeagerist and a double agent, create the chemistry between him and mikasa, eren and floch. Perhaps hitch could've played some kind of role too, been in the alliance, for instance. Connie's plotline should be removed or done right (I personally would like to get him killed in s 3, in shiganshina and make sasha visit his mom afterward), falco's powers need to be explained well, pieck could've been an interesting heroine who took part in coming up with a plan to stop eren as she was one of the smartest aot characters, levi should've died post-timeskip (idc when). Zeke's development had better be not that rushed (I guess he should disconnect from eren after the beginning of the rumbling and try to help the alliance defeat his brother. Ymir and he don't need his royal blood anymore anyway). If I didn't make historia pregnant, I'd give her a mission on the island or make her escape or kill her. But she's already about to have a baby, so this mysterious subplot needs a good payoff, not what we got. Also, dina-bertholdt scene must be deleted, and this stupid twist with Carla's death too. Eren should have power limits and not be able to influence the past or see everything happen in the world. Mikasa should move on from him much sooner and finally find her own goals or things to fight for. Or if she moves on only in the last arc, then it should be like this: Louise joins the scouts to fight yeager and dies for mikasa to make her realize what obsession can lead to. Ackermans and the lore need to be explored better. The Warhammer titan subplot should go somewhere (for instance, help eren finish the rumbling) and Ymir's motivation should stay the same it was in 122
@@annett_55555 woah, a lot of ideas there. i see that s4 could go in many different directions. whatever it would be different it should make me feel like s1-3 did, damn strong with clear goal. all those jumps around the story, around different concepts and logic, just decreased my investment in the story. i would turn around the story so that the island would be attacked or even destroyed (ymir should be big bad boss and not eren, or none of them)
The fact that people consider Eren and Mikasa’s relationship romantic and think that Denni and Power’s relationship would’ve just stayed friends is crazy despite the obvious sexual tension, palpable character, and show of affection for another and the lyrics of ep end 4 being a love song people still sit here and say “nah they were going to be like siblings like best buddies” Meanwhile, they consider disturbing demonstrations like Eren and Mikasa and Sasuke and Sakura to be real love
You know, they could still have explained Ymir continuing the curse for love But love for her daughters, her grandchildren and their children's children instead of King Fritz

For me, the ending wasn't bad. It sent a message, that is very true to this world. History always repeats itself. In this case, a history of conflicts. In real life, there's no good or bad endings, only good and bad times. We are nearing the end of good times now, as we are closer and closer to WW3 and very possible nuclear war. And after surviving humans would rebuild civilization, a new conflict will appear. So yeah, Eren's plan is ultimately useless, because that's how it is, there will never be true peace.

It was fun watching your videos, they were all so funny(the source material probably has smt to do with that). Its a shame that this gigantic series didn't end as strongly as it shouldve in my eyes, but the memes were the best part of it. Side note: This is completely unecessary, but there is a rewrite on this ending that is really well made(for me at least), made by uniqueamosaurus. You could check it out yourself if you ever feel like it, you don't have to make a video, its just for peace of mind or some sort of catharcism. Honestly saying (imo)that aot as a whole wasn't so good in terms of writing as hyped by its fans however the s1-3 was alot consistent towards its main plot and the characters were too. But the story starts to fall from the end of s3 of basement reveal and s4 is so fcking stupid and have so much questionable and bad writing I genuinely started to think that maximum characters are just plot device and the outside world is so cartoonishly evil and r@cist. Isayama miserably to portray a morally grey world including paradise we got some with the yeagarist and other world f@cist thinking but the time alliance formed it made it so bad that it went from slight morally grey to complete white and black morally showing yeagarist absolute evil and wrong completely when the story and yams himself justified rumbling not in morals but as the only option. The story is so fcked I felt disappointing and ending made it useless. The code geas anime isn't out of the world as whole but the last pay off is so incredible this anime was remembered for its payoff. While aot did opposite. So disappointed in aot honestly.
Did yams really say explicitly that the rumbling was the only option? I mean, he literally panned the main character attention screen to Armin, Mankasa, and the rest of the Anti Rumbling coalation at the end, who simply weren’t able to prevent the 80% because they didn’t have the power to at that time, not because they were morally wrong, but did defeat him to save the rest of humanity then. At the end of the day, Erens plan wasn’t the only proposal people seriously wanted to turn into reality. You had Zeke here whose plan would kill nobody, and Armin and his folk’s common sense diplomacy and reconstruction plan. Again, Erens plan only triumphed through force, not moral supremacy. Please do tell me if I misinterpreted what you were trying to say and how if I did lol

Frieda, not erasing or manipulating grisha's memories or not fighting him, is nonsensical but could have easily been explained by the pacifism ideology she inherited from carl. At least it would have been better than "she didn't have enough experience." Grisha, somehow making it to the walls is also a plothole but subjectively not that big deal in comparison to eren's ability to manipulate the past events. It's the same as the warriors not catching ymir or Marcel not turning into a titan to defend himself from her
Tbh, if I rewrote aot, I'd take away eren's ability to control birds, influence the past and see everything happen. It makes him too powerful and adds lots of inconsistencies
@@vaidikchauhan4382 I feel like aot needs a full rewrite, especially, mikasa. She's the only reason I would remake the story from the very beginning, not from ch 105. Also, I'd flash her, Sasha, jean, Connie, hange (give her a backstory) out, add more new characters post-timeskip (that is of course extended and has more than 50 chapters) and give them some time to shine + the more members in the alliance the better. I'd execute the alliance more properly, give them a mind-blowing plan to win against the mc and It'd be cooler if they had some options to offer instead of genocide but eren just didn't like them as found them still useless. I'd make armin and hange try to do something after eren and historia ruined the 50-year plan, for example try to kidnap the rest of the shifters from marley and inherit their titans / attempt to negotiate with mid-east allied forces and offer some help in the war agains marley, their common enemy / find some other countries willing to support them. I'd write sasha/niccolo relationship and falco better, give the boy a valid reason for wanting to protect Gabi so bad. I wouldn't make annie forget about her remorse in lost girls (she wouldn't kill the scouts just for killing, rather for self-defense, no yo-yo moment and no sadistic smiles; she would leave those, who couldn't fight her, alone). It would be amazing if she abandoned the goal of seeing her father again and started caring about others. Also, no rom relationship with armin. Both need no love interest. I'd introduce 2 or 3 20-year-old characters from marley who wanted to avenge their eldian friend (killed by marleyans when they were children), served yelena, were Levi's squad's friends and became a part of the alliance too (they trained for 3 years to use odm gear). It'd be great for paradis to have some other allies except for azumabito and this would make eren's decision to rumble the world less acceptable and more complex as there were people who truly wanted to cooperate and live in peace with the island. I'd make jean a yeagerist and a double agent, create the chemistry between him and mikasa, eren and floch. Perhaps hitch could've played some kind of role too, been in the alliance, for instance. Connie's plotline should be removed or done right (I personally would like to get him killed in s 3, in shiganshina and make sasha visit his mom afterward), falco's powers need to be explained well, pieck could've been an interesting heroine who took part in coming up with a plan to stop eren as she was one of the smartest aot characters, levi should've died post-timeskip (idc when). Zeke's development had better be not that rushed (I guess he should disconnect from eren after the beginning of the rumbling and try to help the alliance defeat his brother. Ymir and he don't need his royal blood anymore anyway). If I didn't make historia pregnant, I'd give her a mission on the island or make her escape or kill her. But she's already about to have a baby, so this mysterious subplot needs a good payoff, not what we got. Also, dina-bertholdt scene must be deleted, and this stupid twist with Carla's death too. Eren should have power limits and not be able to influence the past or see everything happen in the world. Mikasa should move on from him much sooner and finally find her own goals or things to fight for. Or if she moves on only in the last arc, then it should be like this: Louise joins the scouts to fight yeager and dies for mikasa to make her realize what obsession can lead to. Ackermans and the lore need to be explored better. The Warhammer titan subplot should go somewhere (for instance, help eren finish the rumbling) and Ymir's motivation should stay the same it was in 122

For me, the ending wasn't bad. It sent a message, that is very true to this world. History always repeats itself. In this case, a history of conflicts. In real life, there's no good or bad endings, only good and bad times. We are nearing the end of good times now, as we are closer and closer to WW3 and very possible nuclear war. And after surviving humans would rebuild civilization, a new conflict will appear. So yeah, Eren's plan is ultimately useless, because that's how it is, there will never be true peace.

You could check it out yourself if you ever feel like it, you don't have to make a video, its just for peace of mind or some sort of catharcism. Honestly saying (imo)that aot as a whole wasn't so good in terms of writing as hyped by its fans however the s1-3 was alot consistent towards its main plot and the characters were too. But the story starts to fall from the end of s3 of basement reveal and s4 is so fcking stupid and have so much questionable and bad writing I genuinely started to think that maximum characters are just plot device and the outside world is so cartoonishly evil and r@cist. Isayama miserably to portray a morally grey world including paradise we got some with the yeagarist and other world f@cist thinking but the time alliance formed it made it so bad that it went from slight morally grey to complete white and black morally showing yeagarist absolute evil and wrong completely when the story and yams himself justified rumbling not in morals but as the only option. The story is so fcked I felt disappointing and ending made it useless. The code geas anime isn't out of the world as whole but the last pay off is so incredible this anime was remembered for its payoff. While aot did opposite. So disappointed in aot honestly.
Did yams really say explicitly that the rumbling was the only option? I mean, he literally panned the main character attention screen to Armin, Mankasa, and the rest of the Anti Rumbling coalation at the end, who simply weren’t able to prevent the 80% because they didn’t have the power to at that time, not because they were morally wrong, but did defeat him to save the rest of humanity then. At the end of the day, Erens plan wasn’t the only proposal people seriously wanted to turn into reality. You had Zeke here whose plan would kill nobody, and Armin and his folk’s common sense diplomacy and reconstruction plan. Again, Erens plan only triumphed through force, not moral supremacy.
