I'm going to tell you something that many of you won't like, but I for one knew that Shingeki no kyojin would end badly.
That's why I stopped watching and waited for it to end to see what the journey had been like for other people who had seen it all this time.
And I was not wrong, I was right, it is not worth seeing it.
But you who spent 10 years watching that manga to see how it ended have to convince yourself that it's worth it for something.
Instead of acknowledging that most manga ends badly and not watching manga, Except for a few like Death Note that They don't insult your intelligence, The ending of Shingeki no kyojin does insult your intelligence.

@skarmeta77 not only you predicted it. There were a lot of people who saw a bad finale coming. I wasn't a good understander of the story back then, so I just ate what was given to me. I started to come to my senses only at the end of 2021
The things I didn't like before 139 came out was 1) armin using talk no jutsu on zeke 2) zeke deciding to die FAST just so levi can keep his promise (it was soooo rushed) 3) the alliance's plot armor and ex-shifters joining them out of nowhere

For my part, I stopped watching Shingeki no kyojin because I imagined it would end without an insult to our intelligence, And just because of that I decided not to get involved in Shingeki no kyojin until it was over and I could watch it right after it was over.
Most mangas end up full of plot holes, inconsistencies and contradictions and have endings that make fun of your intelligence.
I learned it the hard way, and I knew that Shingeki no kyojin would end the same, and that's why I stopped watching it and I wasn't wrong.
Please stop reading manga and start reading books because most manga end up being incoherent with plot holes and making fun of your intelligence, As the ending of Shingeki no kyojin did

I think many are in denial and prefer to think that those years they made theories about Shingeki no kyojin were worth it, When the truth is that all of us have wasted our time watching a manga that ended up full of inconsistencies, plot holes and conveniences.
A manga that is full of conveniences, plot holes and inconsistencies in the end is not worth watching.
As I have already said.Shingeki no kyojin can be summarized as the story of a masochistic slave Who conveniently and by means never deepened obtained a power with which he helped the reign of a king that repressed her and ruined her life.
And also Shingeki no kyojin was about the story of a very cowardly king who instead of resolving the political conflicts in his kingdom decided to flee to an island and abandon almost all of his people, While he encloses the part of the people who came with him to the island in walls and basically wants his own people to be destroyed in the long term, Because they believe that in this way they will pay for the crimes that their ancestors committed many years ago, When the one who had to pay for those crimes was him helping the people repressed by his people, don't flee to an island and condemn your people in the long term.
Shingeki no kyojin was never good but they have to lie to themselves thinking it was so that those wasted years seem like they were worth it.

I watched Bleach when it was good, the ending was full of inconsistencies, contradictions and plot holes.
And I at least recognize that I wasted all my years of my life watching that crap and that it was never as good as I thought it was.
And I feel like you who spent so many years watching Shingeki no that I do are in denial and think it was worth having seen Shingeki no kyojin.
When the truth is that they prefer to deny that they wasted their time than to recognize that in the end it was all a bunch of plot holes and contradictions.
I know how hard it is to admit that fact. I also went through that denial when I saw the end of Bleach, I was thinking: oh yeah the good times I had watching it.
But in the end I had to admit that it was all a waste of time.
That's why I stopped watching Shingeki no kyojin because I knew it was going to end like the end of Bleach, full of contradictions and inconsistencies.
What I don't like is that this person is now going to make videos of other things that are going to be full of inconsistencies and contradictions, just like the endings of Bleach and Shingeki no kyojin, Instead of reading books or literature that does not mock our intelligence and that has internal coherence and good narrative quality.
In the end we didn't learn anything, we will make the same mistakes as always and there is nothing we can do to avoid it, Just like the end of Shingeki no kyojin.
That's why I want you to listen, it fills me with so much anger, The final message is that all human beings will always make the same mistakes and we will always make the same mistakes, Again and again.
Just like we are bringing back other series that will surely have inconsistencies and plot holes.
The lesson that you learned with Shingeki no kyojin I learned years ago with Bleach and I feel like I wasted my time watching Bleach, you should recognize that you waste your time watching Shingeki no kyojin.

@@skarmeta77 I didn't "waste time" mate, I spent my time having fun (which was as good a use of my time as anything else). There's always going to be imperfections in stories like inconsistencies, contradictions and plotholes because it's made by imperfect people but if we're able to connect and immerse ourselves enough with the story then it's time well spent no matter what anyone says. Eventually the later parts of aot's story broke my investment in the story but ultimately I'm never going to regret reading the manga as a whole.

Because the ending of Death Note was not full of contradictions I can say that I DID NOT WASTE MY TIME WATCHING DEATH NOTE, but Shingeki no Kyojin, or Attack on Titan, ITS ENDING WAS FULL OF CONTRADICTIONS.

No doubt Isayama Hajime started off well but in the end he made fun of all of us, you can't sustain the insult that Isayama made to you by saying that in the end "you had fun", I did have fun watching Death Note because the ending insulted my intelligence, but Isayama insulted all of us with that ending, so you wasted your time watching Attack on Titan, unless you have learned how to "NOT MAKE AN ENDING THAT MAKES SENSE AND DOESN'T INSULT PEOPLE'S INTELLIGENCE", if you learned that then you didn't waste your time, you learned that Isayama spit in your face with that ending.

@@skarmeta77 I'm not sure whether I'm expressing my opinion well enough before in my previous comment so I'd like to be clear: I don't think anyone should be explicitly told how or how not to spend their free time, sure critism of art and advice on what to and not to read is fair but the moment someone says that I should be "feeling" only what they feel about art they lose my respect.
I don't care whether the end of aot makes fun of my intelligence, I'll just skip it or laugh at it for being stupid.
"Enjoyment" and "objective" analysis are two completely different things and my opinion of what I do or do not "enjoy" cannot be changed by arguing. (Arguing about whether something makes logical sense or has narritive cohesion can change my opinion though. I feel like we have the same opinion though about the narritive cohesion aot's ending. aka it sucked).

And you should care that they make fun of your intelligence because many think that despite its bad ending, watching Attack on Titan was somehow worth it, that they had fun watching it despite its contradictory ending.
When what we have to do is recognize that the ending of AoT ruined EVERYTHING that could be said about Isayama, as its ending is CONTRADICTORY: THE OBLIGATION IS TO RECOGNIZE THAT ISAYAMA IS A BAD WRITER AND MADE US WASTE TIME, UNLIKE DEATH NOTE, WHICH THE ENDING OF DEATH NOTE WAS NOT CONTRADICTORY
Isayama makes fun of your intelligence because Shingeki no Kyojin after the revelation of the basement of Eren's house, ISAYAMA BECAME VERY COMPLEX AND DEEP WITH HIS STORY!!
It gives you the impression that Attack on Titan was something more than a "simple story about giants who eat people", and Isayama shows you a story full of discrimination, media and political manipulation, SO THAT IN THE END THOSE NEW PLOTS ENDED IN A CONTRADICTORY LOVE STORY BETWEEN YMIR THE SLAVE AND KING FRITZ.
In the end he made fun of our intelligence because Isayama didn't have to get so complex in his manga if in the end it was going to have a contradictory ending full of plot holes.
IN THE END ISAYAMA COULD NOT END THAT REVELATION OF THE BASEMENT OF EREN'S HOUSE WELL, IN THE END THAT REVELATION ENDED IN CONTRADICTIONS, PLOT HOLES, AND INCONSISTENCIES.

I dont know if Isayama opening a Spa from fan's tears was real... but he was way out of the goal with his ending, I believe he ruined his own ending to please the fanbase and not make everyone really mad about it... as much as we love some characters Levi needed to die, some others needed to be in jail instead of becoming political figures, Mikasa+Eren moment with him being a bird was garbage, Idk... those things doesnt feel like its something Isayama would do after all the gore and twists we saw before the final.

      1. it happened after maybe 1000 or even at least 500 years into the future since we can see from cyberpunk futuristic type buildings
      2. levi is now living in the outside world so on the basis of that you can deduct that some paradise people might even live in the outside world
paradise at this point of time is JUST A NORMAL ISLAND before it was prohibited to go
now nobody confirmed this BUT JUST THINK its 1000 years into the future ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN
the last panel was just isayama showing that WAR NEVER ENDS and NOT THE CONFLICT OF ELDIA-MARLEY CONTINUING there could be another war because of completely different reasons
the thing is that we dont need to know as aots story started because of 2000 year conflict and that conflict has ended as for the reasons i mentioned above and titans as well WONT RETURN i explained this in my another message under this comment itself
eren didnt completed 100% because why would he? he already was feeling guilty about the rumbling my gof he was literally crying at the boy he was going to kill
thats why he only the flatten the world upto the point at which the paradise military would now be same which was 80%
IF worlds military power would have been same as paradise AT 90% AND NOT 80% then eren would have completed 90 instead of 80

Once upon a time AOT was my favorite story ever told. The world, characters, and the story struck a chord in me like nothing else ever had. And then the ending came… I truly envy those that can still love AOT the same after that ending. I, for one, cannot. I will forever cherish the treasured memories I have of my first watchthrough, but they are now viewed in a much different light now that I know how it ends. And that’s why we ending haters are truly the most passionate fans of the story, because we only wanted the best for our favorite story, and that ending let us down in what felt like such a personal way. So we take solace in channels like yours

Aot was about to be my favorite story. The music and the songs that give goosebumps, a lot of strong and complex (even female, FINALLY) characters, the magnificent directing, the amazing foreshadowing, the mind-blowing plot twists, the interesting lore, the stunning visuals, the outstanding voiceacting, the excellent animation, the exciting action, the well-built parallels and symbolism, the great storytelling, the wonderful themes. It had EVERYTHING to be a masterpiece but its ending ruined it. For what? Money and fanservice
Even though I joined the community only in 2020 and at first praised the conclusion back in 2021, the more I reread and analyzed it, the worse it got in my eyes. Historia, ymir, zeke, eren, reiner and jean, my favorite characters, are unrecognizable now. Somehow gabi, the most hated character in the fandom, turned out to be the only one I love now in this manga/anime and the only character with a pretty satisfying conclusion among those who survived. I used to despise floch but eventually, he became the true king to me
All the songs don't matter now, and carla's death can't make me cry anymore after the finale revealed how and why it actually happened
What about "sins of the father", "sacrificing something important to achieve/change something", "being born into this world", "surpassing the father", "ending the cycle of hatred", "keeping moving forward", "keeping children out of the forest", "believing in yourself", "living for yourself" themes? Why were they replaced by "love" and "friendship" shit at the last moment?
There's so much more I wanna say but my disappointment is immeasurable. At least snk taught me how to NOT end stories

    • @skarmeta77
      @skarmeta77 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Even if you don't believe me, I like reading your entire comment. I hope you read this one too.
I'm going to tell you something. I saw Bleach when it was being aired, the ending was crap, and apart from that moment I started to distrust all kinds of mangas because they end up full of inconsistencies. Plot holes and contradictions.
I stopped watching Shingeki no kyojin because I suspected that it would end up full of inconsistencies, plot holes and contradictions.
Long after it was over I became interested in seeing it and my suspicions and fears were confirmed.
I knew I would waste my time by getting hooked and interested in Shingeki no kyojin, how I got hooked on Bleach when it was famous.
Now I see that many people are trying to justify those times they lived through Shingeki no kyojin because they don't want to recognize that they wasted their time. Just like I lost mine watching Bleach.
But at least I recognize it, what really drives me crazy is that there are people who keep saying that they were good times watching Shingeki no kyojin, When you see who is more than a lie they tell themselves to try to convince themselves that it is not but in time watching Shingeki no kyojin, I wasted my time watching Bleach and I understand how it feels.
In the end, these mangas end up being an insult to the intelligence of both their viewers and those who consume them.
That's why it irritates me that this person keeps making videos about other things, it's another series that will surely have the same amount of plots and conveniences as Shingeki no kyojin.
In the end they will repeat the cycle of hatred as always,You're going to watch a series or an anime for a year that you like and in the end it's going to end up full of inconsistencies, plot holes and contradictions, And in the end, out of nostalgia, they will say that they were good times to try to convince themselves that they did not waste their time watching those series.
And it irritates me a lot because that is one of the messages of Shingeki no kyojin, That no matter what time of year it is or what kind of person we are, we will always make the same mistakes.
Eren, He supposedly sought to end the cycle of hate and in the end ended up making it worse. And the last pages of the manga explain to us that the cycle will repeat itself and everything the characters went through, everything they did, was worthless. Just like us viewers What we enjoyed about Shingeki no kyojin in the end we don't matter, In the end, new people will come who will enjoy a series that will end up full of plot holes and insulting our intelligence.
The cycle will repeat itself and we are idiots who do not realize that.

I didn't watch bleach, but I feel you. I have the same thoughts about Naruto ending, but I'm not that frustrated because, unlike aot, Naruto had mid writing since the beginning, not in the very end
I don't think I wasted my time watching snk. I'm even glad I saw THIS finale because it taught me a lot of things about how to not finish stories (I'm writing my own one), gave me memes and led to meeting a new friend. However, I can safely say I watched a wasted story. Isayama had only 1 job: to finish it how he was planning, but for some reason, he was just like "f it" and rewrote the last 3 chapters to please ems and the alliance supporters. It's obvious where his creation was going to: eren completing the rumbling, killing the alliance (fully or partly), coming back to his wife and child, becoming the king, achieving freedom and ymir being reborn into his daughter. This outcome did have hints and buildup, could've tied everything up and completed aot's main themes. It'd make eren one of the best mcs ever created, historia one of the best female characters in fiction history and eh one of the best-written families
I will always believe eren, historia and 2 ymirs are the most important snk characters whom the story revolves around. It's clear isayama built on them while writing aot. Even if other characters didn't get the conclusions they deserved, these 4 SHOULD have had ones in ANY finale as they're aot's core, but unfortunately...
Back in 2021, I used to be an ed too and couldn't even think isayama, a genius, had screwed up. It was the time I didn't understand or remember the story. But now that I do after rereading and rewatching it, I can't neither defend aot nor consume it again, only discuss its downfall. There's no redeeming it unless we ever get a reboot starting from the armin-annie scene in the basement. I'd gladly take part in it and help finish it better. Now my only hope about getting a better finale is aotnr and aoe theories are my only consolation as they help me dream about what could've been

@@annett_55555This series is better off getting a reboot like FMAB or just staying dead forever. AnR and AoTR are also also shit snd not that much better than Chapter 139. Not even enjoyable thanks to shippers and fandom discourse. I'm finding some AnR theorist to be insufferable as Chapter 139. Season 4 is a disappointment and not canon. This series died on Season 3. Full Metal Alchemist 2003 and Brotherhood are better than AoT. Any Shonen/Seinen anime from the 90s to 2000s is better than AoT.

@@annett_55555AnR ans ANOTR are also shit and not much better than Chapter 139. Erehisu is also a terrible ship not that much better than Chapter 139. Eren doesn't desrve a fucking love interest. He deserves to rot alone in suffering for his entire life. Ymir Fritz was better off being the main villain with her own selfish goals no reincarnation or love bs. Killing Armin and Mikasa would just be cheap shock value. Y'all Aoe theorists need come up with better endings ffs. Season 4 was dogshit. Season 3 is where the series ended canonically. FMA and FMAB are better than this snime.

@@Spantzcatdog what you want should be in the WHOLE aot rewritten. The idea of my endgame is based on ch 1-131 where everything is still consistent
Ymir being the main villain is a good concept but then the entire snk should be remade because fritz as evil doesn't work after eren freed her and became the only person who sees her as just a normal girl
Btw, villains/antiheroes can have love interests (and yeager's case's rather about parenting than romance), especially eren because historia herself is an anti-heroine/villain. There are a lot of evil couples/families in fiction. Both yeager and reiss can suffer for the rest of their lives

I very much hope that this series due to its ending gets unremembered and goes unnoticed and does not become one of those animes that people still talk about 20 years after the fact like black Lagoon, Evin Gaelion (I don’t know how to spell its name ) or cowboy beeboop. I hope it does not become a classic. I hope it becomes unremembered and gets swept under the rug like the ever growing sea of shit, Isseki’s that failed in the wake of NGNL a masterpiece and it’s genre

Their betrayal destroyed paradis. They had only 1 JOB! and that’s to destroy everyone on the outside world. Levi had 1 JOB as well. And it was to help the one trying to save paradis and avenge those dead souls of eldia. NOT BETRAY THE ONE TRYING TO SAVE PARADIS!
