Used to go to his backyard shows back in 06/07/08, he's always been a good dude. I'm happy to see him change his music style bc he always wanted to do this, but never thought he'd get sober & be _able_ to change; but he has. I'm so proud of him. I am also proud to say I've been supporting him since before he got any kind of fame, we lived in the same neighborhood for years!

A friend sent me JR music. I haven't listened to any music since years ago after my 3 year old son was killed in a fire. Every thing reminds me of him. It's been many years now, and I am 68. Don't know how I have managed all these years but by the grace of God. And a special daughter! But Jellyroll's music really speaks to me in a way I can't explain. My husband died from cancer Feb 25th. Me and my gra.nddaughter live on 900 a month. None of my family wants to help or be there for us. She's having health issues and I have a pacemaker. We are not ok. But we are baptized. God will see us thru.

Absolutely beautiful song, losing my father to suicide 7 years ago, and now this year I found my less than 2 year old son dead in his bed, and many other deaths followed him this year. It all broke me down to the bottom but I’ve managed to stray away from alcohol but it’s surely been tested this year. Everyone is struggling in their own way and each and everyone one of you is a warrior for continuing forward.

My grass is as tall as my house. I was married 51 yrs. Now alone and everything is com at me hard. I am 76 I live on my social security. Just yesterday I so wanted to give!! My town had a vigil tonight and played this song. I almost cried. Listening to it again at home it hit me. I am from Greenfield, Iowa one of the hardest hit towns in Iowa on May 21st 20204. An EF4 tornado hit my town and took out 153 homes and killed four people. The destruction throughout town breaks my heart. I haven't cried over it until now, but the most awesome thing is that my town banded together to provide medical care and also cleanup.

Thank you for your brave service, sir. 🇺🇸 My best and dearest friend was a Vietnam vet with PTSD and he suffered his entire life with a multitude of physical and emotional trauma. I would have sent him this song had I known about it, three weeks ago. But his body finally gave out and he passed away. I’m devastated without him. I’m not OK.

I have went through many dark days, but have fought my way out of that darkness. Without God, I would not have made it. When i hear this song, it describes exactly what I feel after loosing my mom 3/1/24. I know sometimes people think and see me as ok, but deep down behind my laugh and smile, im literally dying. Thank you for describing my pain in this song.
So sorry for your loss. My Mom is near the end with Alzheimer’s disease. This song instantly brought tears down my face! She’s still alive but not her…. She just rolls her eyes up in her head or closes them….. heartbroken 💔
