My beautiful, intelligent, charismatic, kind, loving daughter who struggles every day fighting not to use again. Meth, coke, fentanyl.... They change the brain function creating a craving that not a single person, who hasn't used, can understand. I so appreciate your assistance in trying to fight this battle for her, and every other person who fights addiction, in this arena.

11.30 a .m. i have my dearest friend that i found blue and non responsive when i found her. I didnt know why . I did CPR and mouth to mouth til first responders got there. They gave her narcan. I am proud to say she is still alive but unfortunately in Dalton Georgia it is unfested with fentanyl and people r dying daily. Thank you for standing strong on getting fentanyl off the streets!

Hell my son was on meth FENTANYL AN BY THE GRACE TO GOD HE'S KNOW IN REHAB HE WENT HIS BIRTHDAY JANUARY 9th an he told i gave him life not once but twice i birth him his birthday was gift of life again it made cry happy tears cause have been there myself but woke one a called it quits ii praise my God that he saved my son
He’s so strong for that. One of the hardest things an addict has to go through is to make the decision to stop, that’s half the fight, getting through treatment is another battle itself 👏 happy for u both

I’m with you! The approach the govt took was probably well intended but so poorly executed. We ended up legislating pain medicine away from those who took it responsibly and out of true need, not to just “get high.” So many have suffered on the other side of this thing and we’ve got to get to identifying and correcting the real problem here. Don’t punish pain patients. And don’t blame addicts, help them. Hang in there. ❤️

She was beautiful but didn’t know it and battled drug addiction for at least 15 years before it took her life. She was my mother figure, sister, best friend and soulmate. My sister needed therapy and she was on a waiting list to get into rehab. She died right before. I miss her every minute of my every waking hour. Thank you for speaking on this topic.
I lost my sister in February to a fentanyl overdose. She smoked a joint with her friend and it was laced in fentanyl. Left behind three beautiful children. Their father committed suicide four years ago. Two of the best people in the world are no longer here. Keep my family and her babies in your prayers.
Same with my best friend that passed from smoking a joint laced with fentanyl. Super sad i detailed a car with him the day before and dropped him off at his house. The next morning I seen his lifeless body siting over the end of the bed dead.😢😢 I think he was having a hard time sleeping and tried to smoke to go to sleep but didn't know it was laced. Her "friend" called 911 so in Arkansas the "good Samaritan law" protected her for being arrested even though the police confiscated meth, needles etc. She had time to hide the fentanyl and sent me a text that she didn't do Fent-at-all. Thinking she was being cute. The police report revealed told otherwise. Laws need to be changed.

Made me cry...I stood by many friends..lost..plenty of friends and family..my mom was addicted..when I was a kid..never knew when I was going to get my next meal ..or wher8i was going to ..lay my head at night...I was young and didn't quite understand..I then went into the medical field..and swore ..I would never put my children through what I had been through...and kept..that promise to myself..and my boy's..but back then I was only a teenager and didn't quite understand..but I knew I wanted to do better..I never picked up drugs..thank God..I think because I saw first hand..the repercussions..even though I was young...I still saw first hand..and experienced the damage...the heartache and pain...not knowing where I was going to sleep at night..or when my next meal was going to be...no one knows what goes on behind closed doors...God BLESS EVERYONE THAT IS STRUGGLING..STAY STRONG..YOU CAN OVER COME ANYTHING

Jelly Roll I know of you because my 14 yr. Old loves you and Morgan Wallen. I lost my son ti fentanyl on September 2020. He was the smartest person I have ever known. He finished took the Pharmaceutical Boards and finish top in the U.S. in the last 6 years. He was a crazy intelligent sweet and crazy fun person. I miss him every day. I feel list at trying to make a difference. No one seems to care. The epidemic is big but I feel I have no voice. My boy is gine, my life is changed. I struggled with alcohol (hard liquor) from 2006 till 2022 and opioids (back injury) from 2008 till 2022. Five times over the years in rehab before i finally got it right. I'm surprised i didn't die from mixing extreme whiskey consumption and 10 to 15 perks a day. Determination and prayer got me out of hell. Jelly thank you sir.

I’m with you! The approach the govt took was probably well intended but so poorly executed. We ended up legislating pain medicine away from those who took it responsibly and out of true need, not to just “get high.” So many have suffered on the other side of this thing and we’ve got to get to identifying and correcting the real problem here. Don’t punish pain patients. And don’t blame addicts, help them. Hang in there. ❤️
God bless you Jelly! I lost my beloved sister to a drug overdose in 2015. She was only 42 years old. She was beautiful but didn’t know it and battled drug addiction for at least 15 years before it took her life. She was my mother figure, sister, best friend and soulmate. My sister needed therapy and she was on a waiting list to get into rehab. She died right before. I miss her every minute of my every waking hour. Thank you for speaking on this topic.
I lost my sister in February to a fentanyl overdose. She smoked a joint with her friend and it was laced in fentanyl. Left behind three beautiful children. Their father committed suicide four years ago. Two of the best people in the world are no longer here. Keep my family and her babies in your prayers.
Same with my best friend that passed from smoking a joint laced with fentanyl. Super sad i detailed a car with him the day before and dropped him off at his house. The next morning I seen his lifeless body siting over the end of the bed dead.😢😢 I think he was having a hard time sleeping and tried to smoke to go to sleep but didn't know it was laced. Her "friend" called 911 so in Arkansas the "good Samaritan law" protected her for being arrested even though the police confiscated meth, needles etc. She had time to hide the fentanyl and sent me a text that she didn't do Fent-at-all. Thinking she was being cute. The police report revealed told otherwise. Laws need to be changed.

Made me cry...I stood by many friends..lost..plenty of friends and family..my mom was addicted..when I was a kid..never knew when I was going to get my next meal ..or wher8i was going to ..lay my head at night...I was young and didn't quite understand..I then went into the medical field..and swore ..I would never put my children through what I had been through...and kept..that promise to myself..and my boy's..but back then I was only a teenager and didn't quite understand..but I knew I wanted to do better..I never picked up drugs..thank God..I think because I saw first hand..the repercussions..even though I was young...I still saw first hand..and experienced the damage...the heartache and pain...not knowing where I was going to sleep at night..or when my next meal was going to be...no one knows what goes on behind closed doors...God BLESS EVERYONE THAT IS STRUGGLING..STAY STRONG..YOU CAN OVER COME ANYTHING
I'm also an addict that keeps going in and out of recovery for years.. for the first time in my life I'm doing the best I ever have!! This is powerful and ty for standing up for us all.... I'd love to help you if I can...I also want to make a change and save lives and break chains

Jelly Roll I know of you because my 14 yr. Old loves you and Morgan Wallen. I lost my son ti fentanyl on September 2020. He was the smartest person I have ever known. He finished took the Pharmaceutical Boards and finish top in the U.S. in the last 6 years. He was a crazy intelligent sweet and crazy fun person. I miss him every day. I feel list at trying to make a difference. No one seems to care. The epidemic is big but I feel I have no voice. My boy is gine, my life is changed. I cant explain because there are no words for the void. You are so blessed ti have survived. My sib was nevwr an addict but it still killed him. Please God help out Nation. I struggled with alcohol (hard liquor) from 2006 till 2022 and opioids (back injury) from 2008 till 2022. Five times over the years in rehab before i finally got it right. I'm surprised i didn't die from mixing extreme whiskey consumption and 10 to 15 perks a day. Determination and prayer got me out of hell. Jelly thank you sir.

I hope the Congress listens. This being hateful and not working with people who are not part of your political party is killing our nation. This man is a good example of how we must ALL consider following (minus the criminal parts of course). We all make terrible mistakes in our lifetime. It would be really easy to cancel this man for the crimes he commited however forgiveness is a better approach and will often have a much better outcome.
Jelly Roll may not ever fully redeem himself, but his attempt here is one huge step in the right direction.
