Great video Chris. Top top - you can repair the outer speaker surround using a cone repair kit - typically about £10 for a pair of rubber or foam rings. I had four speakers on my 8N9 Mk1 Roadster all fail (door cards and behind the seats) due the foam surround going brittle and just disintegrating to dust. The speakers I have are all non-Bose which are no longer available to buy and not so many on ebay. I managed to fix all four using rubber cone kits and they work a treat!

Hey Chris, nice video. The screws that hold the door card in you can use the long tool that is in the boot. I found it a lot easier to put back the screw in with that. Also did not need grease.

Nice one Chris, mines gone on the driver's side, I have to have the volume down low or I start having that horrible thudding noise if I turn it up to much, will have a go of trying this myself after watching your vlog now I know where fixings are great help, may I ask how much the speaker is to buy.cheers 👍

Nice video Chris. Need to replace my 2 front speakers. Did you get them off eBay or from Audi please. Can’t be arsed to go aftermarket as there is just too much choice and before they blew it sounded good enough for me.
    Thanks in advance.

Definitely not as easy as it looks in the video. After screws have been removed, the clips around the edges require major force to get the card off. I think it’d be helpful if this part is explained before anyone attempts this process

Does anyone know what to do if you have the child lock on this car and the lock actuator fails? Just thought I'd ask before attempting to take off the door card from the inside with the door closed!!
