      Yes, find another plastic washer to replace if yours is broken like mine. And find the same thickness as your plastic washer. If not, use fibre washer.

    hey man. I’m having a real rough time with my 89 prelude atm. it’s a b20a5 and she starts up idles and accelerates fine, But when i’m decelerating and downshift between 3rd and 2nd it boggs out bad and rough idles until i stop. Then when i stop it turns off completely. I’m stumped on this problem and could use the help

      I've noticed something kind of similar with my 91 with the B21a1. When coming to a stop in neutral it idles around 1100. Then when I fully stop, after a second it slows back down to normal idle. If that's a normal behavior for the engine, maybe whatever system is doing it isn't acting right on your engine. Try having a look at the Idle Air Control valve, similar issues arise from those.

      Check your fast idle valve, or the EACV valve. Not sure if the 20A5 and A6 are the same. The fast idle valve can be found on the firewall side of the intake plenum, remove the top plate (2 screws) and check that the plunger is seated correctly. Use a large flat screwdriver to tighten it up if it is loose. The EACV is sandwiched between the intake and the fuel injectors, check for loose/cracked vacuum tubes. Also, check your ECU for codes. I'm not sure where the B20A5 has its connector that needs to be shorted, in the B20A6 it sits on the firewall with a yellow cap. If yours is the same, take the cap off and short the two pins. Then you can go to the passenger side carpet (should be an inspection flap to peel back) and count the blinks on the ECU. Check prelude3g .com for more info.

      This will help your gauge problem. U can fix it or replace it.
      And that’s too much reason can cause cluster lights not working. Could be fuse, ground connection point, plugs behind cluster is loose & etc. it is hard for me to tell in here.

    What size is the fibre washer?

    • @ChannelMAsk
      @ChannelMAsk  ปีที่แล้ว

      U can use plastic washer, as long as the same thickness and size as the metal washer. Plastic washer even better.
