Thomas Barrow (Rob James-Collier) heads out into a dangerous night at a gay bar - only to be discovered by the police and carted off to prison! Will Richard Ellis (Max Brown) be able to help out his fellow servant?
From Downton Abbey, a 2019 British historical drama film written by Julian Fellowes, series creator and writer of the television series of the same name, and directed by Michael Engler. The film is produced by Carnival Films and Perfect World Pictures and it continues the storyline from the series, with much of the original cast returning.The film, set in 1927, depicts a royal visit to the Crawley family's stately home in Yorkshire. As royal staff members descend on Downton, an assassin has also arrived and attempts to kill the monarch. The Crawleys and their servants are pitted against the royal entourage, including the queen's lady-in-waiting, who has fallen out with the Crawley family, especially the Dowager Countess, over an inheritance issue.

Me, a French Canadian wh'os only seen the first few minutes of this film, and who struggles with understanding audio without subtitles: Aww this is so sweet:))) what on earth are they saying

I've watched this clip like 12 times already. Here is my best interpretation of the first scene:
- Other Guy: "Going on to Tercet's inaminit, d'you know it?"
- Other Guy: "I'm Chris Baxter btw" (I know for a fact he does not say this)
- Thomas: "I'm waiting for someone"
- Other Guy: "For a very long time, haps he's found better things to do"
- Thomas: "And?"
- Other Guy: "(unintelligible) you come with me? Y'know you want to 😈"
- Thomas: "Scuse me sir, my name's Barrow. If someone comes looking for me, could you tell them I've gone?"
- Bartender: "Shall I say whereta?"
- Thomas: "Turtles :)"
- Other Guy: "The mines."

*Max Brown* = From *Bradford.* Has also starred in *The Tudors* (2007-2010), which was created by *Michael Hirst* who is also from *Bradford.*
*Rob James-Collier* = Has starred in *The Long Shadow* (2023), *Ackley Bridge* (2019-2022), and *Side by Side* (2021) which all filmed in *Bradford.*
*Perry Fitzpatrick* = Has starred in *Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022) which was filmed in *Bradford.* He also stared in *Hullraisers* (2022-2023) which was co-created by *Anne-Marie O'Connor* from *Bradford,* *Trollied* (2011-2018) which was created by *Anne-Marie O'Connor* from *Bradford,* and *Drifters* (2013-2016) which was created by *Jessica Knappett* from *Bradford* who is also the lead actress in it.
They've also starred in other productions such as *Coronation Street* (1960-present), *Heartbeat* (1992-2010), and *Dalziel and Pascoe* (1996-2007), all of which have also filmed in *Bradford,* however those were rare occasions, so it's unlikely they appeared in the *Bradford* filmed episodes.

Just 2 miles South of me in *Bradford* the world's first *UNESCO City of Film.*
*Bodies* (2023) = The Police Station
*Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022) = Tommy Shelby's Factory Offices
*Jay's Yorkshire Workshop* (2021) = Jay's Yorkshire Workshop
*Downton Abbey* (2019) = J & J Turton Warehouse & Offices
*The ABC Murders* (2018) = Belgium Flashback Scenes and a Theatre Exterior
And apparently a few more things, although I don't remember them filming inside (but it's possible they used it for the production team's base).
The street outside, has been used in many many more productions, and the same goes for the entire neighbourhood, although they mainly stick around the 2-3 streets by this warehouse.
This month and possibly last month, at least one or two more productions have filmed on that street, although in a courtyard of the building opposite this time.
Plus sometime this year, another film will be released which filmed in the entire neighbourhood last year, along with at least one of the TV series which has filmed there this month.

I've not seen the films, as I haven't seen the series past series 2 or 3 yet.
