I see positive indicators that im on the right track, but numbers are dismal. thanks for the tips. pulled up the spotify for artists login and checked out every noise. hope to have things in gear by the fall. Things are different than they where 5 years ago, let alone last year. thank you.
I love your videos my new single ended up doing way better than all my previous singles in only the first 2 days of it being out, I am still a very small artist but your advice has helped and encouraged me to form close relationships with some of my main influences in my genre so this is just a lil appreciation comment, keep making great content thank you :)
Does having good content alone really correlate over to amount of streams? What if you're doing well with content but people aren't taking that extra step to go stream your music?
why not just ... practice awareness so you can make the same and even better observations yourself ? instead of forever paying some one to point out what is in front of you - you're screwed anyway if you have to do that you won't make it just waste money n time just making the people with talent have to spend more on advertising to be heard above the noise.
the pattern is most musicians go to these events, watch these videos for years and they get no results. the reason is your wasting your time on this. the solution - go make a good song or 20, and if it's good enough you'll be far way better than those who try to follow all these 10000 advices. Imho no disrespect
It’s both. Make great music. Learn how to tell stories around it and communicate effectively. People spin their wheels because to have all pistons firing to push through is not easy.
lol you are somewhat right that a lot of people make the illusion of progress by studying and not acting but if you think great songs don’t need tools to get discovered I have very bad news about where you are on the Dunning Krueger Curve

I appreciate you taking the time to respond tho and all the info in your vids about Spotify is really great and helpful. I just struggle with ig and tik tok making feel like humanity's creativeness is slowing dying and I dont like being subconsciously influenced by people who sole purpose in life is getting likes and comments or even being remined that those people exist.

Idk I've tried alot of Different strategies lately. I'm sure I'm missing something. Facebook ads didn't really pan out maybe my skip rate went up.

No it does not. If the song hook isn’t good they don’t go stream but mediocre content often gets a stream when the ear worm is infectious
