Thanks Andrew...holy crap ! The drone shots are spectacular dude ! The scenery , elevation and exposure it shows , with you on it are amazing . Quite a place , and as always , you riding like a legend ! Thanks again .
Mate! Loved it. Thanks for adding in the journey of the climb and telling a real story. I know it's always tempting to get into the descent straight away but this vid tells the story so well. Great video.
🚲 Incredible Trail ! Dude you are no doubt one of best MTB'ers out this was epic. The Aerials were also amazing with vast Terrans. Very sick. Keep it up bro !!! 👍
The last few steps to the top all I could think was - Fark That! Andrew another absolutely epic episode. You really should presenting on a mainstream channel mate.
Stunning epic Torridon ride Andrew....great appreciation of the mountain environment...proved by bagging the summit on foot !!! and as usual great filming and bike handling skills ...luv it !!!!!!!! Many thanks again.
Absolutely stunning spot, passed it a few years back. We were coming back from Inverewe heading for Loch Lomond, I really enjoyed the walking at the top. Nice to get that proper perspective of the angle from the drone. Keep up the great work 👍.
Loved this one Andrew. Your drone shots are amazing. Blimey, I’ve walked down that trail but would never have considered it rideable. You proved me wrong!👏
Wow Andrew! What an awesome video. The drone footage was amazing. What an incredibly beautiful and wild place. Thanks for taking us to places most of us will never get the chance to see. Super skillful riding aswell. Amazing!!!!
You are a rockstar, I’ve climbed that hill loads of times it’s epic! I must admit, I was like WTF is he thinking going up there it’s hard enough without pushing a bike😂 what a decent that must have been, well done 👏 ❤️🏴
It’s amazing what is possible to ride down tbh. Quite often I don’t think I can ride stuff when I’m climbing up, but then it’s not actually that bad on the way down.
Stunning ride as usual. Heading to Cairngorms in a few wks... Any tips on dealing with the water bars on the descents... On an ebike and hard to bunny hop it... Just got to ride over them slower?
Hey Andrew. Thinking on doing this next week as the weather looks mint. Two quick questions! 1. Is any of the climb cyclable? 2. Did you ditch the bike at the right point, or would it be worth taking it higher up? As always, immense video. I have done a great many of your big mountain routes that I would never have done without you guinea pigging them first! I owe you a pint
Good plan mate 👍 I would say that almost none of the climb is cycleable. If I was to go again, I would take the bike hire up just to ride the top sections. Carrying the bike up to the top will be quite an effort and there is a large section that you cannot ride, but once at the top it would be quite good , Good to hear that you are making the most of my videos and getting out there yourself 👍
Historical bad land management, to w many deer eating tree saplings and harsh winter conditions all play a roll. Steep and rocky on this particular route as well.
Hi McT - I might have missed it in one or two of your videos, BUT ... why did you get rid of the motorhome? .. and, have you gotten rid of your van as well? Why?
Sorry story, money. Needed the cash for other things and the fuel economy was hitting the wallet for the regular trips as well. I have just gotten an older VW Crafter though, that I plan to convert to a certain extent.
Looks like a great day out and got the place all to yourself. I'll bet you're glad you got a few proper climbs in before your Alps trip. That Skydio follow me footage makes the Mavics look like a toy. Was that a single flight whilst riding?
That's a nice ridge you hiked to & along. Steep, narrow -- must be very very old, geologically. Long ago I bet it stood out in greater relief. If you wanted to lug the bike up to the ridge, is the trail rideable anywhere along the ridge, or dropping off the ridge? Or was that what you meant about the steepness where you dropped the bike?
The Torridon stone is some off the oldest in the world, and yes, Scotland mountains used to be very high indeed. The ridge down to the green bank of the Corrie was rideable, and I wish I’d taken the bike.
Awesome Andrew! :) I was up a coupla years ago.. it's like another world up there. Just love Torridon :) Here's some of the footage I got when I was there: th-cam.com/video/rXnnqsYhoZc/w-d-xo.html
That’s the route that the Celtman triathlon goes up. 5km swim, 200km cycle then run up and over the mountain. Madness!
Looks fantastic!
Madness indeed!

That drone has definitely been the best thing I’ve bought for the channel 👌

Helps drag out the duration of the video too 😜

Thanks buddy, the top was a little sketchy.

Couldn’t not summit when I was so close.
Top video. Great to see the scenery of these wild Scottish mountains. These mountains day videos definitely a favourite of mine.
My favourite to make as well 👍
Looked great Andy. What fab scenery!
Thanks Kyle

The drone really lets you see the landscape in a total new way 👍
Thank you Andrew🙏 your downhill riding is exemplary 💯Your drone captured the grade perfectly Fantastic Video!Very Enjoyable Viewing mate!👍🤘😎🤘
Thanks buddy
Beautiful! Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for joining
I love the drone footage which really shows how steep that is. Another great video in a beautiful spot.
Thanks Adam
flipping heck Andrew that was some ride - the climb to the top was well sketchy but the drone shots of the descent and landscape...brilliant, cheers
Thanks buddy
Epic. The steepness came through in the vid. Can't beat a solo trip in the hills. Cheers.
Can’t beat it right enough
Loved this one Andrew. Your drone shots are amazing. Blimey, I’ve walked down that trail but would never have considered it rideable. You proved me wrong!👏
I had similar feelings on the way up tbh.
@@McTrailRider 🤣
Cracking ride, super chunky and loose trails. Amazing riding-footage and mountain views ! Nice one

Super skillful riding aswell.
Amazing!!!!
Happy to have you join me on this one mate 👍
@@McTrailRider Thanks Andrew but at 60 years old and riding a hardtail stuff like that is way above my ability !
That looks amazing as usual. Super tough technical riding at the top. We were just at that bridge a few days ago on our holidays.
Nice spot for a holiday 👍

Wow the views 🤯. Awesome video and ride. Now you’ve been to Contin. How about doing the Strathpuffer in winter 😉🙄. Looking forward to the next video
Haha, no endurance event for me 😜
@@McTrailRider lol. I feel you are very sensible 👍

Honestly, I just speed up the rebound on the suspension to help on those kind of ride with an ebike.
@@McTrailRider OK thankyou will give it a try

Not quite the as high as the Alps, not good practice all the same.
I think I used a battery and a half for the descent on this one.

Lots of classic evidence of previous global cooling. Love it.
The geography of Torridon is absolutely fascinating 😮
@@McTrailRider What is that vehicle you're driving with the tent top? I'm out of touch with euro-boxes, but it looks rather neat.
@@Swaggerlot it’s a Honda Civic tourer, with a James Baroud roof tent. It’s been a fantastic setup👌
Thanks Andrew, even my Ozzie car nut pal couldn't pick it.
