Andrew, you are fortunate to live where you do. That countryside is absolutely phenomenal!! Such peace and quiet, tranquility and beauty. And to ride there as well. Have you ever got lost out there? Who was operating the drone? I never want to hear you moaning about the country you ride over. Just think of us poor sassanachs down here in England. We have some lovely country as well, but nothing to match what you have. Soooo grateful for your vids. Brings us mortals a little bit closer to perfection! Thanks so much mate. You take care and enjoy yourself! Keep em comin.
Can only repeat all the superlatives in all the comments so far McT.........Stunner of a video.....and I suspect my family will abandon me on my next visit to Scotland, as there's just too much to ride. Thank you for another stunning production.
@@McTrailRider I thought that too, but some of em just don't get it.....(the love affair with bike adventures) and I'm still reminded....and that was back in November 2019! Hahahaha
What an outstanding video! Fantastic trail with cold water therapy en-route! You show Scotland off at its very best! A credit to both of you! ❤ the highlands, a real place for adventure!
Andrew, I feel so guilty for not having watched any of your videos for an extremely long time. I've always loved everywhere you go and think it's some of the most beautiful Terrain. I'm glad I checked in for this one because it's all open country. It was nice to hear you give some explanation regarding the sandstone and the translation of its name to redhead. I hope you're doing well in life, but a video like this says it all. Like myself I'm definitely at peace when I'm in the mountains.👍😎🐐🔥💪
Fantastic video of probably my number one favourite descent. You really did it justice. It's a good route around the back - a long continuous singletrack all the way back. I was stunned and surprised the first time I saw that amazing white cone of An Ruadh Stac. If it was a munro it would be more well known. When you started to descend from the bealach for a second I thought you were going down the other side towards the bothy. I'm glad you didn't. That would be a very bad idea. It's mostly steep rubble. The good Torridon paths are the best of anywhere. Stuff the mud and the roots. Flowy rock can't be beaten. Great video again that brings back the memories.
Another great video and drone footage . You seem to be definitely getting the best weather up there. Stunning backdrops. And thanks for telling us about the various rock compositions. Nice touch. And probably sunnier than the dolomites right now !!!
This is absolutely superb as I'd been looking at this track but had heard it was pretty bad coming in from the Coire Fionnaraich, so thanks heaps for the route idea! Phenomenal drone footage again with Maol Cheann-dearg in the background - wow. It must take some time editing the drone and POV footage together. Some really good quality mountain biking footage coming out of Scotland at the moment so keep up the great work.
Awesome video. One of my favourite areas of Scotland. Just wish I could get there more often. You had great weather and the drone shots give so much more context and views keep them coming!
Thanks Andrew, great vid! Stoked to see a little more of the Torridon range. I was hoping you'd be back there since you're last visit. It's such beautiful and awesome place. And those trails look amazing. I only noticed you hop one drainage culvert, which makes it all the more appealing. Cheers Andrew, thanks for sharing the fruits of you're labour. I find you're content very informative, which Is greatly appreciated. And it's always a pleasure to come along for the ride!👍
Fantastic video, shared this with a mate of mine, not for the biking (which was great by the way and Pierce is as crazy as you these days) but for the views you show, he loves the Scottish Highlands and you show so much of them 💪👍😎
Wow - Take a bow gents… you guys are doing more for the sport than anyone else in the country - amazing stuff. Cannae beat Torridon too - mtb heaven :-)
Mate, you are absolutely banging it out of the park with the drone footage. Getting really slick at it. Makes me sad I no longer live in the Highlands.
Fantastic video and what a day for it, stunning! I did the classic loop with an add on in May & those descents are world class, up there with Basque MTB Moab whole enchilada riding👍👍👍

Great stuff you two, sitting here in Steornabhagh on my day off watching this and loving it 😎 The drone shots make all the difference, incredible quality footage, keep it up 👍🏻
Brilliant inspirational video, and off-putting for those of lesser ability too. I'll be staying on my feet in Torridon for the foreseeable future, but thanks for showing us what it can be like.
It's always inspiring your rides brilliant views and the colours, I thought it was snow at one point 👍 had no idea about the different rocks cool.it must be getting tricky with the volume of people up there at the moment.
Did the a couple of months back and it was scortcho then too! Yer right you have to be there and see it to believe how good it is in Torridon but don’t tell anyone ❤️🏴
I don't know if it was the remoteness or the stark beauty of the landscape but Torridon felt like an edge of the world adventure to me. Scottish mountains aren't particularly large, but they feel bigger than their altitude suggests.
Nice one. Rough and loose - bonkers. I've added that to my to-do list. It would be good if you talked through how long to get up and how long to get down. From the Strava track it looks like a couple of hours and about 5 miles for the way up. I know the filming and droneage takes time as well though.
