    Nice tutorial 💪 , one little bug I found - when a background image is added to the card visual after adding shadow or glow effect, the image doesn't cover the entire card any longer until you remove the effects. Meaning if you want the image to also have similar effect (shadow and glow), you have to do a little play around designing externally before importing to PowerBI.

    Great video. On the Image URL Feature--I am trying to add an image URL to 2 of the cards. I have selected all under Cards--Apply setting to all--then I chose under image none. After that, I selected the card that I wanted the image URL-it adds this to the card but it defaults to all cards to have the Image (from the URL). When I chose the 2nd card for a different image url, it won't show the Image. However, the 2nd URL Image shows on the other cards. The 2nd URL Image card won't even show the first card Image--So essentially all cards but the 1st and 2nd url cards show the 2nd image but the 2nd card doesn't show ANY image. By the way--on the Image URL--it shows the text of the URL (I have changed the Data Category in the formatting to Image URL)--I tried to turn it off by choosing the selected card under Callout and turn it off--but it turns it off for all cards. So what I ended up doing was on the cards with the Image url--i changed the font color to White. Is there a bug or am I missing something?

    • @PowerBIPark
      @PowerBIPark  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, so I'm writing from mobile so might need to respond again later - the URLs showing text the measure data type needs to be changed to "image URL". Let me know if that works!
      Also, the images work really annoyingly - if you set an individual series to be different reverting to all doesn't always select all the cards again

    • @tamerajohnson1730

      @@PowerBIPark on the image URL--it is sent to image URL--however, it still shows in the data category. If it turn off the data category for just the individual selection--it turns it off for ALL of the categories. That is why i just did the font to white (I don't have a background) so it would work. If you have any suggestions on how to work with the all and the individual series to try to make this work, I am open to try some things. Thank yo so much for your help. This is a great visual, just need to get the kinks worked out.

    Hello, Is there also a possibility to add a goal as was the case with the 'old' KPI?

    • @PowerBIPark
      @PowerBIPark  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gerco, with SVGs this is technically possible, but it's a lot more complex. If such a template already exists, I would like to use it too 😁
      I will say however that microsoft intends to have this directly in the cards - even the SVG right now is technically a "hack"

    Does this store image on third party site which created from Kerry site as measurement?

    • @PowerBIPark
      @PowerBIPark  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      not at all, this image is stored internally inside power bi (as you upload images)
      The SVGs are created by the measure, so you can think of it as being stored inside the \DAX

    Great Work ... But can we do conditional formatting on the icons ?

    • @PowerBIPark
      @PowerBIPark  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can - if we use SVGs, we can do some really interesting things. I plan to make a video about this, but you can see the concept in action in my previous video:

    Has anyone encounted an issue with the table containing their measure completely disappearing when loading data from a .pbit file (template) ?
    I get an error on loading saying: All MEASURES This query does not have any columns with the supported data types. It will be disabled from being loaded to the model. and if i select continue, the report loads without the ALL MEASURES table and all measure in that table are gone ?
    This has only happened since the june update
    Does anyone know whats going on and how to resolve it ?
    PLEASE !!!

      So I know this is something that happens, you might need to revert to the previous version of power bi 😔

    Is the dataset available to download to play around with it?

    • @PowerBIPark
      @PowerBIPark  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is the native dataset, try opening power bi and not loading any data - you'll see the place where I load data.
