5 years in power bi using Icons (mainly from powerpoint or flaticon) in different ways for KPIS. not once did I know that "windows key + dot" was a thing! thankyou!!!!!!
Am I the only one that literally shouts out loud, "No way!" When he shows a trick to do things like shift the text from the title line, down below to the subtitle line! Crazy good content Bas that literally makes me a better PBI developer every single video!
There is no reason to be happy. Another month without impacting new feature. Everything was already possibile with a power BI desktop release of 2018. Only some facilitation for beginners or to save 2 minutes of manual work 👎
I hope Microsoft PBi dev ops watches your content. They could get a lot of great ideas for what features are missing and how to improve existing ones - ones that you cover excellent workarounds for, but workarounds nonetheless. As always, great content Bas and congrats on all the professional and personal success. Best PBi content creator on TH-cam, bar none. GuyinaCube and the SQLBI guys are tied for 2nd in my book!

1:25 how can I divide the x axis with the year below and the abbreviated months above as shown in the video?? Is there any tutorial that teaches this? If anyone can help me, I really appreciate it!
Does this still work? In Power BI Desktop April 2024, when cresting a new report trying this techniques, whitespace, including repeated spaces or line breaks is just rendered as one space. Even with text wrap on. The text wrap setting seems to work because I can see the difference when the text is just too long for the width of the visual, and you can also see that my measures produces line brakes when adding it as a value to a matrix visual. But in titles with text wrap on, these line brakes don't apply (anymore).
Hi Bas, can we let user bookmark a certain view of the dashboard after applying filters as s/he wants to see so that the next time user sees the dashboard page, it appears as per the bookmark s/he set earlier? In other words, can a user set his/her preferences?

Vas is this Power BI online version, I been getting videos of Power BI updates but nothing seems to appear in Power BI Desktop. If so, then Power BI online is free right?
I'm having issues with the subtitle and it not being effected by the visual. e.g. I have a bar chart showing gross sales by day and in the subtitle I have a measure showing the total gross sales. When I click on a day the subtitle won't change to be filtered to the total gross sales for that selected day. However for other graphs on the same page e.g. average sales on a line chart, when I click on a day the subtitle in the bar chart is filtered. Any help?

Standard behavior using multiple X. Try to study and test by yourself instead of searching video for this basic feature 😉
