I don't see how they're paid mods when many other games also release mini dlc including weapons, vanity items etc and they don't get classified as paid mods. But of course because its Bethesda they do that same thing and everyone calls it paid mods because there are free alternatives... Fair warning to PS4 players the XO2 frame is bugged to a point where it kills you as soon as you enter the power armor my advice to you to avoid this would be to loot the prices of XO2 from the frame and then go purchase a fresh frame from proctor Teegan or another armor vendor
I hated the creation club for so long. Recently I purchased an xbox one x and wanted to do a trophy run. It was painful after playing with mods for so long. I broke down and purchased a few cosmetic items to lessen the sting. Now I own all the cosmetic items and I'm tempted to buy this. I'm such a hypocrite. Lol

when i was a kid, i didnt have much money trying to buy new console, i remember when people were buying the ps3 i was still stuck with the ps2, my dad shell in a few expendable bucks on an nvidia geforce fx5500, long story short, that was my introduction to pc gaming, fast forward played skyrim, realized the 'modding' aspect of video games, having tasted the sweet nectar of untapped ultimate gaming freedom on the PC, looking at console and and its lack of moddability/custom patch or fixes kills me inside. i've been fighting myself to get a ps4, but looking at it, leaves a lot to be desire than a couple of console exclusives. I remember back in 2011 i was playing fallout 3 for hours and one day my dad surprised me when i got back home school he's the reason why fallout has a special place in my heart he was playing on my game and he got me a powerfully shotgun and the X-02 power armor it was my main suit then around feb 2015 he passed away and when fo4 came out i was kinda sad the suit wasn't in the game and years later when creation club released the X-02 i was so happy when i got the suit i almost cried wearing it again I'm glad today it's free for everyone

This mission was so sad and bittersweet to me. So many innocent people tortured and killed by the Enclave over a suit of frickin power armor. The Enclave never fails to be completely debased and evil beyond comprehension. I know it's just a game, but I still felt the emotions of it all and I took unprecedented joy in eradicating those demons.
It’s years later but I still say it needs a Faction Paint. I would LOVE a Minuteman or Brotherhood Paint for the X-02. The Hellfire has the Faction paints and it looks amazing

This Bethesda club addition goes right in hand with the “Enclave encounters” mod where random patrols of enclave remnants are in the commonwealth even the glowing sea soldiers in black army fatigues with combat armor and x-01 power armor wearing soldiers in higher levels along with the fact enclave remnants are looking for x-02 power armor in the Bethesda club addition could make a good rp
If you give it the Onyx Paint job from the creation club, and give it the tesla upgrade, it is the exact same look and feel of Fallout 3's Tesla X--02 Advanced armor. The moved version of the X-02 is not way better by any means, as when even viewing the tesla upgrade, the visual breaks, and it's either stuck that way until you enter that armor, or the break results in a game crash. It's buggy as all Hell, and it's a bug the authors of the free mod never fixed. So I use both. The mod is the plain, in altered Advanced MKII, and the creation club variant I turn into the Tesla. I get one of each suit that way.

And inb4 all the "mods exist, so we don't need this" comments start to appear. Look I agree with Oxgorn that many of the creations are overpriced, but I don't think just because of that or because "mods exist" we should be so easily willingly to dismiss the effort put into some of the creations. Seriously, I do agree that their first few creations weren't good, especially since a lot of them were either "go here, quest complete" or they just gave you the item with no quest or otherwise. With some of the newer creations we've gotten new NPCs/backstories, full quests that don't just require you to go to one place and you're done, can be considered lore friendly or even canon and can have a place in the game. I love the modding community, but dismissing the creation club completely because "mods exist" would be the same as people dismissing Coke or Pepsi because "1$ soda pop exists". Weird analogy I know but that's what many people do. Mods are the premium sodas and the creation club stuff are the no named sodas no one will drink. On the topic of the creation, I was debating on getting this. I actually wanted to wait for your video, since I trust your opinion and I'm glad to see that not only some good effort was put into it, but as you said, the lore implications are REALLY interesting. Gonna be sure to check this out sometime soon.

Never played Fallout 1 or 2 but the Enclave just seems so damn cool that someone created mod with an actual oil rig base in the game for Xbox. I miss those days.
that would break most of the storyline. if the enclave won things like the NCR and legion wouldn't have been a thing. both factions played an important role in the lore of fallout. not to mention the enclave was facing the same problem as the brotherhood, going against too many enemies at once. making enemies doesn't Grant victory nor does it make sense. hell The enclave was willing to commit Mass genocide to achieve their goal of rebuilding America.
So I feel that this mod would be better at a cheaper price because there is already an amazing X-02 power armor mod on Xbox and PC. It comes with a great cryo modification as well as an amazing look to go with it. Sure the quest is pretty good but there are also quest mods for adding the Enclave into the commonwealth, including a huge one where you can rebuild the Enclave.
I know you liked the detailing on the unpainted Tesla version, but when it has the onyx paint the contrast between the piping and wiring and the shoulder pieces is really sweet looking.
I dont know about the rest of you guys, but I actually liked this one. I spent money on it, and I wasn't disappointed by the final product. This is one of the only two creation club things that I liked.

I Really Loved This Creation Alot! I'm really glad that Kris Takahashi decided to bring back the Enclave in Fallout 4 & bring back the Enclave Radio Station that we all know from the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3. The quest was so intriguing that when I completed the quest & got the armour...I found myself wanting more. For example, I want to find out more about this Enclave HQ that Hodges mentioned in her/his note. I think it would be cool if the X-02 power armour creation would get a creation-sequel and that we would somehow need to track down or find this Enclave HQ for some reason that Hodges mentioned. But overall, those are just my thoughts. I love the quest, the story, the rewards we got, and the new little workshop items we got. I am a bit iffy about the price that was snagged onto this creation because I feel like 700 credits is really a bit too much for one single power armour. But either way it's Kris Takahashi's decision or Bethesda's decision to decide how much there creation is worth. But overall, I walked away being impressed. And once again Oxhorn, I love your video's. Your videos always make me intrigued, Sometimes make me laugh, or simply make me smile and I thank you for that.
There is already a X-02 Power armour mod on the nexus and on bethesda.net, which has existed for a long time. Also, if you REALLY want to have the enclave back, I suggest downloading " America Rising - a story of the enclave" on the nexus or on bethesda.net, which has a fully fledged story, new locations, voiced characters and Custom player home
They're both good but I prefer Dogtooth's X-02 to the CC X-02. The quest for the CC one was decently executed although I would have liked to see a way to encounter the original owner should you keep the station on. Based on the text of the notes it is highly possible that he is still resident in the area.

I hated the creation club for so long. Recently I purchased an xbox one x and wanted to do a trophy run. It was painful after playing with mods for so long. I broke down and purchased a few cosmetic items to lessen the sting. Now I own all the cosmetic items and I'm tempted to buy this. I'm such a hypocrite. Lol

when i was a kid, i didnt have much money trying to buy new console, i remember when people were buying the ps3 i was still stuck with the ps2, my dad shell in a few expendable bucks on an nvidia geforce fx5500, long story short, that was my introduction to pc gaming, fast forward played skyrim, realized the 'modding' aspect of video games, having tasted the sweet nectar of untapped ultimate gaming freedom on the PC, looking at console and and its lack of moddability/custom patch or fixes kills me inside. i've been fighting myself to get a ps4, but looking at it, leaves a lot to be desire than a couple of console exclusives. God Bless pc.

He technically does if you play far harbor. The enclave gets mentioned by a guy who used be in it. Also it gets mentioned a few times. So he kinda does.

I remember back in 2011 i was playing fallout 3 for hours and one day my dad surprised me when i got back home school he's the reason why fallout has a special place in my heart he was playing on my game and he got me a powerfully shotgun and the X-02 power armor it was my main suit then around feb 2015 he passed away and when fo4 came out i was kinda sad the suit wasn't in the game and years later when creation club released the X-02 i was so happy when i got the suit i almost cried wearing it again I'm glad today it's free for everyone

This mission was so sad and bittersweet to me. So many innocent people tortured and killed by the Enclave over a suit of frickin power armor. The Enclave never fails to be completely debased and evil beyond comprehension. I know it's just a game, but I still felt the emotions of it all and I took unprecedented joy in eradicating those demons.

If you give it the Onyx Paint job from the creation club, and give it the tesla upgrade, it is the exact same look and feel of Fallout 3's Tesla X--02 Advanced armor. The moved version of the X-02 is not way better by any means, as when even viewing the tesla upgrade, the visual breaks, and it's either stuck that way until you enter that armor, or the break results in a game crash. It's buggy as all Hell, and it's a bug the authors of the free mod never fixed. So I use both. The mod is the plain, in altered Advanced MKII, and the creation club variant I turn into the Tesla. I get one of each suit that way.

And inb4 all the "mods exist, so we don't need this" comments start to appear. Look I agree with Oxgorn that many of the creations are overpriced, but I don't think just because of that or because "mods exist" we should be so easily willingly to dismiss the effort put into some of the creations. Seriously, I do agree that their first few creations weren't good, especially since a lot of them were either "go here, quest complete" or they just gave you the item with no quest or otherwise. With some of the newer creations we've gotten new NPCs/backstories, full quests that don't just require you to go to one place and you're done, can be considered lore friendly or even canon and can have a place in the game.
I love the modding community, but dismissing the creation club completely because "mods exist" would be the same as people dismissing Coke or Pepsi because "1$ soda pop exists". Weird analogy I know but that's what many people do. Mods are the premium sodas and the creation club stuff are the no named sodas no one will drink.
On the topic of the creation, I was debating on getting this. I actually wanted to wait for your video, since I trust your opinion and I'm glad to see that not only some good effort was put into it, but as you said, the lore implications are REALLY interesting. Gonna be sure to check this out sometime soon.

that would break most of the storyline. if the enclave won things like the NCR and legion wouldn't have been a thing. both factions played an important role in the lore of fallout. not to mention the enclave was facing the same problem as the brotherhood, going against too many enemies at once. making enemies doesn't Grant victory nor does it make sense. hell The enclave was willing to commit Mass genocide to achieve their goal of rebuilding America.
So I feel that this mod would be better at a cheaper price because there is already an amazing X-02 power armor mod on Xbox and PC. It comes with a great cryo modification as well as an amazing look to go with it. Sure the quest is pretty good but there are also quest mods for adding the Enclave into the commonwealth, including a huge one where you can rebuild the Enclave.

I Really Loved This Creation Alot! I'm really glad that Kris Takahashi decided to bring back the Enclave in Fallout 4 & bring back the Enclave Radio Station that we all know from the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3. The quest was so intriguing that when I completed the quest & got the armour...I found myself wanting more. For example, I want to find out more about this Enclave HQ that Hodges mentioned in her/his note. I think it would be cool if the X-02 power armour creation would get a creation-sequel and that we would somehow need to track down or find this Enclave HQ for some reason that Hodges mentioned. But overall, those are just my thoughts. I love the quest, the story, the rewards we got, and the new little workshop items we got. I am a bit iffy about the price that was snagged onto this creation because I feel like 700 credits is really a bit too much for one single power armour. But either way it's Kris Takahashi's decision or Bethesda's decision to decide how much there creation is worth. But overall, I walked away being impressed. And once again Oxhorn, I love your video's. Your videos always make me intrigued, Sometimes make me laugh, or simply make me smile and I thank you for that.
There is already a X-02 Power armour mod on the nexus and on bethesda.net, which has existed for a long time.
Also, if you REALLY want to have the enclave back, I suggest downloading " America Rising - a story of the enclave" on the nexus or on bethesda.net, which has a fully fledged story, new locations, voiced characters and Custom player home

They're both good but I prefer Dogtooth's X-02 to the CC X-02. The quest for the CC one was decently executed although I would have liked to see a way to encounter the original owner should you keep the station on. Based on the text of the notes it is highly possible that he is still resident in the area.
