I have a small leak that drips into the pocket on the dashboard. I'm searching for info before I tackle the problem. Elsewhere, I have no other leaks. As a new Jeep owner with zero desire to go topless, I put a bead of silicon between the Freedom Top and the back roof. Just enough to cover the exposed seam.
What about the front right passenger corner? I replaced all the seals and still have a leak that ends up making a small puddle in my passenger side every time it rains hard.
Did you replace the seals in this video? I would suggest going through and really scrub all the areas clean. Also inspect the seals that go along the windshield and look for dirt, debris and cracks. Clean it out very well. A thin layer of vasoline along the rubber seals will help to rejuvenate them.
Mine leaked. It was the drain clogged by leaves and branches. It was watering near the floor only. Clean the grille near the hood. The disassembly is close to the column. Have want to remove the windshield wiper
thank you for publishing this video! my leaking issues seem to be in the front doors. this video shows one supplier of a specifically designed door seal: th-cam.com/video/cisOZeZitbQ/w-d-xo.html however, the 2-door kit costs $100 & 4-door is $250!!! 😳 i seem to only have leaking issues on the front two doors, but to me this appears to be insane pricing for mere weather stripping. have you found an off-the-shelf weather stripping product that works well for sealing the doors, and is not too thick to allow the doors to close properly? (in the video, the guy said that is an issue with most weather stripping available.) thank you! 8-)
Is there damage done to the seals? Generally you can see if there is seals around the doors and the tops. The front doors of the 2 door are the same as the front doors on a 4 door. You can buy the 2 door kit and just use it on the 4 door. I haven't done any of those seals as mine were not bad. Usually it is the foam spots that are bad.
Another fairly simple and inexpensive fix for me was replacing the door seals. That solved my leaking problems.
Very nice. I replaced all my door seals and still had the issue. Those foam pieces were wrecked on mine
its the other doug! whats up buddy!
What if you are the other Doug?
How are these holding up in the long term. My wifes jkur has a wet front passenger floor. Going to order a set but wondering if it worked long term.
No leaks since I did them. Dry as can be inside the jeep!

Thats a good idea if you never wish to take your tops off.
I’ll try it. Hope it works.
It has worked so far! Had quite a few rains on it with no leaks
@@4WDTrek good to hear.

Mold?? How does that happen? Not safe dude!
When the tops leak and you don't drive it for a period of time, it can develop mold. But no more mold and no more leaks!
Mam thats alot of black mould in your jeep, hows your breathing and health.
I didn't drive it with that all in there. So I'm good
No duct tape?? NICE!
Nope. Did it right!
Duct tape😊
That could work as well. Would work better than anything else!
