Nice! This is EXACTLY the vid I was looking for! My HT slipped off my hoist and cracked the bottom part of the passenger side (just like yours). Thanks for sharing.. very helpful.👍🙂
I slipped on ice behind a basketball hoop and punctured a hole in my hard top. Would you recommend doing this process to plug the hole and then cover it after?
@@truckerrob8808 its not pointless. don't be such an asshat. This guy gave up his time to share something of worth while you spit negative pointless bs. You can google mopar touch up paint and find a textured spray that is an exact match

Thanks for the vid. For anyone asking there is a mopar textured paint for the hardtop available at the dealership or online.
just a suggestion, wear some eye protection when sanding and a respirator. Great job, looks nice!
Thanks for sharing looks great! I'll be using some of these techniques this weekend using SMC epoxy instead.
Looks great. What paint did you use?
So sick nice work!!

It's been 4 years. Let's see how this permanent fix is holding up.

yes! With a hole i would just try to make it even on both sides and fill it with fiberglass and resin so it is still strong!
What kind of spray paint. Matte Black? Was the top faded at all?
he could have showed the paint he used lol its pointless to do a DIY video and not say
we went to autozone and found a textured black that looked similar to the hard top.
What’s the exact paint used
