I've started soaking my crust pork rinds in a bit of heavy cream and add it to my meatballs and loaves. It's makes it so light and juicy. It's something my grandma would do with bread when making hers so I thought id give it a try and it makes a big difference!

One way I’ve cooked meatloaf lately too is to shape it in a loaf pan, and then carefully take it out onto a sheet pan with parchment paper to put it in the oven to cook. Instead of having that steamed in the pan taste/texture, it gets the delicious,buttery, almost caramelized “crust” on the top and sides. It’s super good and a nice change up once in awhile.
Yeah, I learned that from Jenny's cooking Channel. She was a tv host in the 90s and made a TH-cam cooking Channel that has awesome recipes. I'm just converting those into ketovore versions with the same flavour.

I got some wagyu beef and grass fed lamb on a good deal at my store and made this according to your recipe including the onions, Parmesan, and pork panko plus added a little garlic powder and pepper and it was DELICIOUS! YUMMY! I did this. The blend of lamb, veal and beef gives it a lot of depth in flavore. Using these 3 meats is a basic bolonaise blend of meat used in traditional bolonaise sauce. :)

Neish-aaaaaahhhh! My wife and I made this today and it was bomb! 💣💥...We tweaked it a little. Added 1 chopped green bellpepper with the onions, 3 tbsp garlic powder, 3 tbsp ground cummin. Under the bacon, I wanted to use Monterrey Jack w/ Jalapeño cheese, but I was out voted. Compromised with just Monterrey Jack cheese. 😂 Thanks again for the recipe! For today, we used the ground meat we had, which was 2lbs beef 73/27 and 1lb beef 80/20. Can't wait to try it again with the ground lamb. 🤤

Making it now. It’s in the oven and smells amazing! Can’t wait to taste it. The only thing I did differently was that I placed the meatloaf in square muffin pans, so each person Can have their own individual mini meatloafs.
I make this with beef, onions, bell peppers, eggs, garlic, cheese salt and pepper. and make my own crush skins to put in. Comes out delishes and yummy. I make mine in a loaf. Never tried bacon on top. In our store they sale half beef half pork for meatloaf
Neisha, try a 3 part mixture of ground beef, ground pork and ground bison. Lose the white onion and substitute scallions (lowest carb of onion family) and one bell pepper along with pork rind/parmesan binder. The slip in some dried oregano, cumin and salt with egg, then top with bacon. Even the addition of one tomato diced adds very little portion carb.
I made this once using all ground beef and it was delicious! I talked my husband in to letting me try it again with 1 lb ground lamb, 1 lb ground bison, and 1 lb ground veal. So excited! ❤️

I know this is two years old but wanted to say thank you for your videos how to so many things I don't know about. I've had Crohn's for 20 plus years and just getting ready to start Carnivore Diet for health. I don't need to lose weight well maybe a few pounds but mostly just for health. I'm a old man now at 63 and my wife found her a new man LOL and I can't cook for a flip. I can make all the junk that's bad for you though. HA Thanks again for all your help and Dr Ken is amazing.
My mouth is watering just looking at that meatloaf. Neisha pet you are such an inspiration to young women everywhere. I've just started the Keto diet after watching your husbands videos and I have found it so liberating to be able to eat all the fatty things I previous believed were bad for me. I lost six pounds in my first week and didn't even stick rigidly to the keto diet. This coming week is Keto all the way. My son and his fiance are looking at Dr Berry's videos now in the hope of losing some lard before their wedding in July. Thank you both for inspiring me. x
@@NeishaSalasBerry for sure. i make it very similar to you. 3lbs meat, pork panko and parm cheese and eggs, but last time i did it i stuffed it with cream cheese (1 block) and cheddar (8-10oz). Also i lined the pan with bacon (2lb!!!!!!!), put half the meat in, then all the cheese, then the other half of meat, then folded the bacon over the top and baked.. i Drained the grease every 25 minutes or so, that way the bacon on the bottom would crisp up. Dont worry, the grease was all saved and used for cooking. Dare i say it was even better than plain bacon grease for cooking. I love the content you and Ken put out, keep up the good work.
We love this meatloaf- I never thought of broiling for a bit to crisp up that bacon! We also use Primal kitchen BBQ on top and I mix diced pickles in with the meat!
Found this recipe today and made it tonight! Absolutely killer recipe. I used 2lbs of 80/20 grassfed beef and a pound of regular JC Potter pork sausage. Family and I loved it! Planning on taking some 1/2 in slices and topping them with over easy eggs for brunch Saturday. Love what y’all are doing for the Keto/Carnivore community! I started Ketovore July 3rd this year and am down 9 lbs so far. Only took 7 days for my acid reflux to disappear! I’m doing this to change my life. Been on BP meds since I was 21. Doc told me it was in my genes as my dad and his dad and mom had it. I believe I can get there and I’m committed to my health and looking forward to seeing the difference my blood work will show in 90 days.

Love a good meatloaf. Always fun to mix up the meats. I haven't tried the Bragg's Coconut Aminos before. The Coconut Secret Coconut Aminos I've tried does have half the carbs of Bragg's for what it's worth (1g vs 2g per teaspoon). I've usually used worcestershire sauce as a similar flavor enhancer (also 1g per teaspoon).

I don’t remember which of his videos I was watching, but Dr Berry recently mentioned that you fry chicken livers in pork rind panko and I’d LOVE a demo on that! I’m trying so hard with liver!!
This might help, take your liver and cut it into pieces about the size of you pinkly finger nail and put on cookie sheet in the freezer. Once frozen throw into baggie and swallow like a pill with water however many you feel to take. I do this daily and never taste it. Raw organic grass fed beef liver!!!!

This was absolutely amazing!!!!! Omitted the panko just did the meat blend , whole milk mozzarella and bacon on top . Wow! My picky 14 year old son said it was really good too! I got home too late for the other two in my house to eat it as they had started their fasting window. Hoping the leftovers are just as good!!!

I just made this, but I didn't have the panko or parmasan, so I used cheddar and chilli flakes, also a few dried mixed herbs. It's really nice, thankyou Neisha!
Making this tonight for a pot luck. Since I'm a lousy cook, I thought I'd try your recipe. I skipped the amino acids, and partially cooked my bacon since I'm bringing this to a dinner with people who eat a SAD diet. They won't understand all the good fat. I used about 1lb + for my recipe. I put the plus in a mini dish for me to enjoy before I go. My will power is low these days. Bringing a bag of pork rinds so I can munch if I want to. Thank you.
Neisha! I just made this and its sooo good. Of course a few changes like no bacon or coconut aminos. I used ground beef and hot pork sausage, eggs, whole milk mozzarella and your keto cornbread! I used so Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce for flavor. This is my new favorite! Keep it up y'all!

Oh my goodness I made this and it’s wonderful I used ground beef, turkey and brauts (lol that’s what I had and was trying to use it up, cut it all in small pieces). I did put half the meat in and then added cheese in the middle and then the rest on top with more cheese than bacon. Just amazing and it is filling. Thanks for sharing. I would send a pic if I could🥰
Great ideas Neisha - LOVE the bacon and mixed meat suggestions, I'll def use this next time!!! I was making meatloaf yesterday and crying myself, thinking how did I do this in the past, I've lost MY technique too lol! I put it over mixed greens and toss in crumbled bacon, it's a divine meal and so easy to prep! You can customize to your families liking easily and mix things up too to seem like a new dish.
This gave a great supper idea. I personally dont eat pork. But beef and lamb would be amazing together. You two will be great with raising your own animals. My husband and I are sustainable organic farmers. We raise grassfed and finished beef and lamb. Huge difference in taste. And personally know how the animal was raised.

However, I can see them replacing the flour beautifully. Have you ever added egg to your meat loaf? My mom used to do that when I was a kid. Whipped it up and stirred it in. Yum.

Oh my...I absolutely MUST try this recipee. I make a meatloaf with just beef and pork panko, but the veal and lamb with beef mix sounds incredible!

Love a good meatloaf. Always fun to mix up the meats. I haven't tried the Bragg's Coconut Aminos before. The Coconut Secret Coconut Aminos I've tried does have half the carbs of Bragg's for what it's worth (1g vs 2g per teaspoon). I've usually used worcestershire sauce as a similar flavor enhancer (also 1g per teaspoon).

I don’t remember which of his videos I was watching, but Dr Berry recently mentioned that you fry chicken livers in pork rind panko and I’d LOVE a demo on that! I’m trying so hard with liver!!

This might help, take your liver and cut it into pieces about the size of you pinkly finger nail and put on cookie sheet in the freezer. Once frozen throw into baggie and swallow like a pill with water however many you feel to take. I do this daily and never taste it. Raw organic grass fed beef liver!!!!

I went to the grocery store and bought all Ketovore and then got Covid. I’m going on my 12th day. I’m actually up wanting to eat and this looks absolutely delicious! If I could only taste and smell! 😞🙏🏻

I just made this, but I didn't have the panko or parmasan, so I used cheddar and chilli flakes, also a few dried mixed herbs. It's really nice, thankyou Neisha!
Making this tonight for a pot luck. Since I'm a lousy cook, I thought I'd try your recipe. I skipped the amino acids, and partially cooked my bacon since I'm bringing this to a dinner with people who eat a SAD diet. They won't understand all the good fat. I used about 1lb + for my recipe. I put the plus in a mini dish for me to enjoy before I go. My will power is low these days. Bringing a bag of pork rinds so I can munch if I want to. Thank you.
Neisha! I just made this and its sooo good. Of course a few changes like no bacon or coconut aminos. I used ground beef and hot pork sausage, eggs, whole milk mozzarella and your keto cornbread! I used so Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce for flavor.

Just got done eating this. Actually couldn’t wait and had it for breakfast. OMG…so good. I broke it down into three separate smaller loafs. Also added just a few drops of Chile sauce to the mix and no ketchup. YUMMY! Gonna be having this again! Thank you Niesha!

Oh my goodness I made this and it’s wonderful I used ground beef, turkey and brauts (lol that’s what I had and was trying to use it up, cut it all in small pieces). I did put half the meat in and then added cheese in the middle and then the rest on top with more cheese than bacon. Just amazing and it is filling. Thanks for sharing. I would send a pic if I could🥰

Great ideas Neisha - LOVE the bacon and mixed meat suggestions, I'll def use this next time!!! I was making meatloaf yesterday and crying myself, thinking how did I do this in the past, I've lost MY technique too lol! I put it over mixed greens and toss in crumbled bacon, it's a divine meal and so easy to prep! You can customize to your families liking easily and mix things up too to seem like a new dish.

This gave a great supper idea. I personally dont eat pork. But beef and lamb would be amazing together. You two will be great with raising your own animals. My husband and I are sustainable organic farmers. We raise grassfed and finished beef and lamb. Huge difference in taste. And personally know how the animal was raised.

Neisha! I’ve been loving your super easy to follow recipes. I’m visual! I also, like to listen to vids while I am folding laundry, cooking, and doing dishes! Keep it up girl. Love the pork rind panko crumbs! I haven’t found pork rinds I like yet. Especially not in our little town or little towns close by. Might need to order some. However, I can see them replacing the flour beautifully. Have you ever added egg to your meat loaf? My mom used to do that when I was a kid. Whipped it up and stirred it in. Yum.
