People tend to think carnivore is expensive but in reality, if you live in the midwest like me, its dirt cheap. 2.99 a pound for 73/27 ground beef 10 pound logs at walmart. plus 7.37 for 60 eggs. i myself eat a pound of beef plus 2 eggs every day with butter and cheese. keep doing what you are doing Mitch!
I just ate a steak for supper porterhouse it was $12.49 a pound it was over $15 for the steak I sure would like to know how to eat on three something a POUND. Eggs are cheap at Walmart but not meat. oh the Porterhouse steak normally runs $18.99 Per pound. I Don't think Walmart even have any if they do it's a hell of a lot more Than $18.99 a pound They're so cheap at Walmart they won't even pay for a butcher they get their meat sent in and it's junk or garbage or however else you want to call it. eagle

Hey Mitch good to see you back in the kitchen looks great, may I recommend using a bread loaf pan, line it with the bacon first with the bacon laying out over the outside edges, then fill the pan with your meat and flatten out the top then lay the bacon back over the top secured with tooth picks if necessary, then cook it until the top layer of bacon is crispy and drain any excess fat then flip it onto your cookie sheet to finish it in the oven to crisp up the bottom layer of bacon.
I love that 5lb 73/27 tube of ground beef. It’s got really good flavor and texture. I get them at Walmart. I generally cut that tube into thirds and freeze. Making the Mitchnormous, 5lb bacon meatloaf is on my bucket list.

I think I watched a meatloaf recipe of yours previously and I made that too. It was also delicious. I’ve got a chuck roast in my crockpot at the moment, but in a couple of days I am going to make your meatloaf. I wanted to reach into the screen and take a bite myself!🥓🥩 I started buying 10 pound rolls of 73/27 ground beef and I separate them into 1 pound pieces and put them in Ziploc freezer bags. I smash them down flat and stack them in my freezer, making it very convenient to store and reach in and grab one out when needed. I also wanted to tell you that I have one of the same skillets that you use. I had it before I ever saw it on your channel, otherwise I would have bought it through your link. But I really like it and think it is a great skillet. Very easy to clean after cooking. I recommend it to anyone thinking about buying it! Also, I have to add that I now use some of your slogans. Even though I live alone, when I go to make eggs, I always say excuse me while I whip my eggs! Also, when I say goodbye to someone, I will say, take the rest of the day off, and eat meat!😂😂😂🥓🥩Love ya Mitch!!!
Had been wondering about putting chopped up cooked or raw bacon in the meatloaf. But now i saw where someone said they use ground up bacon and mix with deer i believe it was, to make burgers. Never thought of grinding bacon up. Wondering how that would be in a meatloaf.

Sat around in storage for a while, went from couldn’t eat meat, to keto, then now carnivore. Think the keto healed leaky gut, the carnivore is giving me strength back! Only 64 yo
I think you need a bigger bowl. :). So Malden smoked salt is good? Never heard of it. I am thinking you could have used two pieces of bacon Because of the pork rinds it would be less fatty but maybe you wanted that. I will try it tomorrow :)

That's a 3M, Mega Meat Mitch loaf! Great idea to freeze so you're not eating the same meal on back to back days. I just finished a slow cooked 4lb chuck roast and yes, 4 straight days of that time for something different.

I have to make this. Tomorrow if I have pork rinds, the weekend if I don't. I was wondering what I could do with a 3# "loaf" of hamburger. Only problem is I'll have to share it with my husband. I may put some fried bacon inside the mix for an extra bacony flavor.
Just wondering..... Does your Meater work for meat in the pan on a gas stove? I've been thinking of getting a thermometer that will work in the oven. A plus if it reads stove top.
