    Another Elvis radio recording took place during 1955 (January 6), at KDAV Radio in Lubbock TX. Song was 'Fool Fool Fool', if I recall correctly.

      Nice.. Seems like he might have been asking the stations for a record to take with him..

    I’m from Louisiana, mounds are always around water, the sad part they are usually looted and the dirt isn’t in the original arrangement, that is cool that Elvis was at the mound, like the meteorite crater, he was around unusual geographical locations, Sedona ,Arizona is another example, thanks for the mound information, I knew he passed the mounds below Memphis and in Louisiana, but never realized he was that close to a mound until now

    Cool story on EP history,,,Those old tunes from '55 were raw Elvis... Love 'em all. Wonder if there was any connection,,in that,,,wasnt Sam Phillips originally from Florence AL. Ya reckon SP,,,may have sent Elvis there to show the local radio owner what Elvis was all about as some quiet PR for Elvis. ? Thanks again SG!

      @SpaGuy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes Sam called Tommy Van Sandy and asked him to put Elvis on his show.. Tommy said he did not know who Sam was at the time but agreed anyway..

      @@SpaGuy Thank You,,,SG,,,I thought I watched entire video,,,good,,,,and didnt hear this... As you said,,,,,when you think about it,,,History gets torn down ( the old radio station building) many times,,to be replaced with fluffy,,,,mindless stuff..This happens time and time again.

    I agree with you on this one Billy. Who's to say they just didn't build that mound to stay on when the river flooded, the water level could have been very different back then as well. Its like they want only keep certain historical things from certain groups but others they could care less or are actively trying to erase the history.

    I Watch all your videos I love your research. I am wondering if you would look into if elvis would have done a sound check in madison square garden, I love to imagine Elvis singing on the stage with the band in an empty MSG

    Indigenous mounds purpose was two fold. First, they served as a burial site where Natives were buried on top of each other thus, the mound. 2nd, in times of a flood Indigenous people had a higher ground to use as an escape so-to-speak...
